Dotted Thank You

I think I am going to LOVE using the new framelits dies!!  This card again uses the Bordering on Romance stamp set from the Occasions Mini catalog and I have cut a piece of Baja Breeze card stock using the Labels Collection Framelits die and put it behind my sentiment.

I also used some Brights designer series paper - Rich Razzleberry - and the button is from the clearance rack in the Candy Cane lane designer buttons.

I hope you all enjoy a fun and safe New Year's Eve tonight!

Designer Birthday

This card is made using the second design from the Designer Cuts cards and envelopes package in the Occassions Mini catalog.  I am not 100% sure I love the way it turned out, I think it will take some more playing around to find a design I like!

The buttons and pleated ribbon are also new in the mini catalog and the stamp set used is Curly Cute.

Designer Cuts

Another sneak peek from the Occasions Mini catalog today, this time using the Designer Cute cards and envelopes set.  This set comes with 8 cards and envelopes - 2 different designs and the cards have been laser cut.  This is the heart card and the other has a lace border cut out.

I put a piece of Cherry Cobbler behind the heart and added a strip of the same card stock that I ran through the Big Shot with one of the pieces in the Adorning accents impressions folder set.  Then, I added some Blushing Bride smooch spritz and some large pearl basic jewels.

These are so pretty you don't really need to add a lot to them to create your card.

Favorites

This week at Late Night Stampers, we are sharing some of our favorite cards from the past year.  It will be pretty difficult to pick a few, but here is my first one for you.  The original post is here.

Another favorite is from a project I created for the UStamp with Dawn and Friends event called Big Shot Brilliance.  The original post is here.

I will be sharing a few more this week along with some new projects and previews of the upcoming Occasions Mini catalog.

Merry Christmas!

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with friends and family as we celebrate the birth of Jesus so many years ago.

Today I am going to share with you a couple more Christmas gift and project ideas that are really quite simple to put together.

The ornaments are just glass or plastic clear ornaments you can purchase at craft stores and I used some hairspray and glitter to make them sparkle.  They will probably be stamped on at some point, but they look so pretty even without it!

The candle below is simply covered with a red metal sheet that has been embossed with the Vintage wallpaper impressions folder.  I added a few basic rhinestones too.

And the final candle started out similarly to the tiles I posted yesterday, but printing on tissue paper.  Next, I placed the tissue paper on the candle and covered it with wax paper and used my heat tool to attach it.

To give it a little more decoration, I added some Early Espresso satin ribbon around it and punched out some 5 petal flowers and embossed them with the Perfect Polka dots impressions folder.  I added a little glimmer paper and a glimmer brad and the flower is stuck into the candle with the brad.

Merry Christmas!

Tiles

I was playing with some tile ideas for Christmas gifts this year.  The pictures were printed on tissue paper and applied with mod podge.  The sentiments and large images in the picture at the bottom of the post were created by stamping with versamark and adding embossing powder and applying heat.

I did the embossing first and added the pictures last.

Then I used little pieces of cork to add to the bottom to protect the surfaces the tiles will sit on.

I think I will have to do some more playing around with these in the future, it was a fun project and hopefully the recipients will enjoy them too.

Stocking Tags

I have made quite a few of these fun tags with the Holiday Stocking Bigz Die and thought I would share a few more.

I used the Holly Berry Bouquet specialty paper, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla card stock, silver and red glimmer paper and some 1 1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon.  I ran out of our little jingle bells so I used some bigger ones I had on hand and added a little more shimmer with some Cherry Cobbler dazzling details that will be in the Occasions Mini catalog.

Blue Silver and White

Another Late Night Stampers challenge sample for the week with the Silver, Blue and
White holiday projects.

I punched out some 3/4", 1" and 1 1/4" circles of silver glimmer paper and added them to a piece of Bashful Blue card stock that was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots impressions folder.  Then, I added an assortment of buttons in different colors of blue.  The sentiment is from Season of Joy.

More sparkles!

I made a really quick bookmark to share today using a large paperclip.  These are really fast and easy and can be a fun thing to add to a birthday card or for any occassion.

I used the 1 3/4" circle punch, snowflake punch and doily triple layer punch and added a brad to hold it all together.  For the back, I punched another 1 3/4" circle and used dimensionals to hold the two together around the paper clip.

Colors: Whisper White, Baja Breeze and Red Glimmer paper.

Mitten Card

I had to make one of these cute little mitten cards that I have seen floating around!  The pattern comes from Lynn Pratt.

I added a little cuff made with Soft Suede card stock that I ran through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots impresions folder.  On the mitten, I added a little piece of DSP from a Simply Scrappin' Kit and a punched snowflake and basic rhinestone.

Island Indigo classic ink
Silver Glimmer paper
Snowflake #2 die
Designer printed brads
Vintage Wallpaper impressions folder

Seasons Blessings

I found some cute little frames on clearance from the dollar section of one of the big craft stores last year and had used a few, but still had this red one left.

I cut out the oval because it wasn't quite the same size as our ovals die and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper impressions folder.  I added a little bit of 5/8" Real Red grosgrain ribbon and an image and sentiment from a couple of retired stamp sets that I love.

Desk Calendar

I purchased a few of these little calendars and thought I would put together a few simple desk calendars using 4" x 6" acrylic frames.

On this one, I used the Best Friends Forever Stamp set, Beau Chateau designer series paper, Victoria ribbon and basic pearls.  I wish the calendar was vanilla colored, but I still like the way it turned out.

Simple Frame Idea

On this project, I decided to give a frame that I have been using for a picture a new purpose.  I took a 5" x 7" piece of Soft Suede Card stock to use as my base and then decorated with Beau Chateau designer series paper and the Love and Sympathy stamp set.

A few punches, some ribbon and layers and I have a quick little decorative frame.

Jolly Shimmer Paint

This is another project to go along with our Late Night Stampers theme of ornaments this week.  I started with a clear glass ornament and I added a little water and Silver Shimmer paint to the inside and swirled it around until it was all covered.

Then, before it dried, I added some mica flakes to the inside and set it aside to dry.

I added another decor element from the Letters to Santa package on the outside and put some blue jean ribbon through the hook to use as a handle.

Merry and Bright

I needed a little thank you gift for someone and thought this was a fun little gift idea.  I used part of the Letters to Santa decor elements package and added the Merry and Bright to a jar I found while shopping at a craft store last week.

Inside I added some Sugar Cookies I made with the Cookie Press Stamp....they have been a huge hit!

Glimmery ornament

Our late night stampers challenge this week is ornaments, I always love to see new ideas for these!

I have used the scallop circle die, snowflake #2 die, 1 3/4" circle punch, 2 1/2"  punch, 1 3/4" scallop circle punch, mica flakes, a treat cup and the Season of Joy stamp set for this quick and easy ornament.  The ribbon is sneak peak from the upcoming mini catalog!

TSSC203

I finally got around to using Mary Jo's sketch this week!  This time of year I should have lots of time to work on my projects, but it doesn't seem like that is true this year.

I used Soft Suede, Pear Pizazz and Pretty in Pink card stock and classic inks along with the stamp set Daring Adventure for my sample.

There is some texture added as well with the Stripes and Perfect Polka Dots impressions folders and a little bit of dotted scallop ribbon in Pretty in Pink

Baby Cupcakes

During the Stamping Retreat, Sarah showed us the cutest little baby gift she had put together and I had to come home and make one!  The "frosting" is a pair of socks and the cupcake is a onsie (hers was a receiving blanket which comes out a little smoother, but this worked well too.

Ths stamp set is one that will be coming in our new Occassions Mini catalog in January - I just love it!!  The box is one of our Kraft boxes that are in the Holiday Mini catalog, I sure hope they get carried over because they are really fun to decorate.

This little gift fits well with our theme of Celebrations at Late Night Stampers this week as well.
