Grrreat friend!

Our challenge on Late Night Stampers this week is to use animal images so I pulled out the Under the Stars stamp set and instead of using the bear image that I normally do, I decided to focus on the raccoon.
The "friend" is from the stamp set Love you Much.

Hunter

This page is for a digital challenge that I am hosting on Soul Scrappers.  My challenge is to use a picture for part or all of your title.  We recently drove through Hunter, North Dakota and my son, Hunter, wanted me to take a bunch of pictures of the signs that had his name on them.
The papers and embellishments I used are from the Sale-a-bration content CD that you can earn free right now until March 31st when you purchase $50 or more in product.  I love the bright colors and am glad we have the option to have access the set after Sale-a-bration is over.

Congratulations

Another version of a card I have made before, but with darker colors as the background.
I used Bravo Burgundy and Night of Navy card stocks and ribbon along with Almost Artichoke, Bashful Blue (sponging on flower background) and Bravo Burgundy ink.
The impressions folder is the Framed Tulips folder in the Occasions Mini catalog.
I added a sentiment and stamp on the inside as well, the sentiment is from Occasional Quotes and the other stamp set used is Because I Care.

Bubbles Clear Case Album

I am able to share one of my projects created for the current edition of UStamp with Dawn and Friends - Big Shot Brilliance.  It is a scrapbook album made using a Clear Case and lots and lots of Big Shot dies!

a matching card

one of the inside pages pulled out...

You can see more if you join us at http://www.ustampwithdawnandfriends.com/ , come on over and join us!

Every Little Bit

I just love the stamp set Every Little Bit, there are so many images that will work for not only kids themed projects, but for all types of themes and ages.  I chose to use the little duck and teddy bear for these cards.
The first one uses the top note and a bunch of circles punched out, then I ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka dots impressions folder.  The letters are from the Simple Alphabet Die and the y's are stamped and then layered.
On this one I decided to do some circles without their middles for a little variety.

And finally, one that is a little more plain.

Colors:
Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Real Red, Night of Navy

Pattern Pieces

I really like using all the coordination patterns and products in the Sew Suite line, but didn't purchase the stamp set Pattern Pieces.  It is also available in My Digital Studio so what I did was purchase that, re size the images and print it on the Sew Suite designer series paper for some cards.

The sentiment in the top card is from Full of Life.

The birthday sentiment is from the level 3 hostess set Occasional Quotes and the other images are from the Sew Suite stamp set along with the matching fabric and fabric brads.

The Drive to Win

I made this for a digital challenge at Soul Scrappers recently.  The papers are from the Love Letter designer series paper set which is also available for traditional scrapbooking and card making.
The challenge was to use 1 photo, a title and 3 embellishments so I used 1 stamp, a tag and a brad for those requirements.

My world is empty without you

Another layout for the Soul Scrappers Glee Club, this one is themed with Soul music.  I chose a couple pictures of the boys, one when Wyatt was only about a month old and another from last summer.  The top one is one of my favorites of the two of them.
I bunched up some ribbon on the bottom and stapled it to the paper and then did it a few more times for a different look.

Altered Note Book

I found the cutest little note books on clearance one day while I was shopping and although they were already adorable as they were, I decided to alter this one.  I used the Sweet Stitches designer series paper, fabric and fabric brad along with the Elegant lines impressions folder.
The stamp sets are Word Play and Morning Cup

Ready for Spring

I hear the snow melting and can't wait for it all to be gone, I am ready for spring.  This project is kind of springy and fun so it fits my mood today I guess :)
I found this little pail for $1 at Target and I knew I could use it for a fun project.  I added some Springtime Vintage fabric around the handle and the pail and added a little seam binding and Victoria crochet trim ribbon as well.
Then I decided to try out my new Fun Flowers die and I alternated layers of fabric and paper and added an antique brad in the middle before I attached it to the pail.  There is a little string of  jewelry tag punches that I stamped with the Tiny Tags set and a Trinket key as well.
The button and the string of tags are tied up with linen thread.
There were some fun things to add to the pail when I picked it up too and I will probably add a pair of garden gloves to it as well.
A close up of the tag string.

Clear Case notepad holder

I finally made it to a office supply store to get some note pads and have them cut down so I could make one of these :)  I used the Ice Cream Parlor sets from Sale-a-bration and the Simple Alphabet letters dies.
on the inside I added a top note and a scalloped envelope with a bookmark from the two tags die to decorate a little.

These are so quick and fun to make, I am sure it won't be the last one.

Masculine Clear Case album

This was a project on UStamp with Dawn and Friends Oh My Word created by Miriam Cassell that I wanted to recreate.  I used about 1/3 of a retired Simply Scrappin' Kit and it was really quick and easy.

On the cover I added a couple stamped images from the Elements of Style stamp set and a neutral designer series brad with some hemp twine.

These would be a great way to use up those scraps we have laying around :)

The clear cases are very inexpensive and these little albums would make a great gift for just about anyone.

A view from the top of the album.

I colored in the blossoms with Blushing Bride and the leaves with Pear Pizzazz.

Create

I promised to share a better picture of the Create banner we made at Regionals so here are some more pictures.  The project uses the petal cone and fun flowers dies and we added some bling with dazzling diamonds, Champagne shimmer paint and basic pearls.

There is also some seam binding and Victoria crochet trim ribbon, bitty punches and vintage trinkets incorporated in the project.

The Designer series paper is Botanical Gazette and we used the Nature Walk stamp set as well.

And of course one of those awesome little trinket keys on the end.
