Hybrid card

This card is created using both stamps and My Digital Studio.  I have printed out the middle piece with the large Doily and the friend definition and stamped the images in the background and the sentiment.

Concord Crush is the color I used for the printing, stamped images and the layer, the definition is in Crumb Cake.

The stamp set for this card is the Best of Everything.

Flirtatious Doilies

This set of cards and holder is a recreation of Ilina Crouse's project on UStamp with Dawn and Friends Paper Parade.  She used a different designer series paper and stamp set for her awesome project.

The inside with the cards included.

Hopefully I will have some time to recreate some more of the wonderful projects from this round!

Bear Hugs

Our Late Night Stampers challenge this week is Baby projects so made a couple Baby cards to show you.  These will probably be the only samples I have for the challenge this week since we are into potato harvest right now and things are pretty crazy!

The pink card uses Just Add Cake designer series paper along with some Daffodil Delight, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White and Peach Parfait card stock.  I used some buttons from last year's Sale-a-Bration on both of the cards as well.

For the boy card I used the Brights designer series paper pack along with Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White and Pacific Point card stock.

Don't you love those little clothespins?

SU Stars Blog Hop

I am so excited to take part in my first SU Stars blog hop!  You can go to the SU Stars Blog at anytime for a list of links to each of the stops on the hop :)  You probably have come from Monica Weaver's blog - doesn't she do wonderful work?

Our theme is Scrapbooking so I did a double layout featuring my boys using the Well Worn Designer Series paper.

My title is made with the Simple Alphabet Die and I have used the Big Shot for the Scallop Square as well that is cut and used on both pages.

My circle punches made the embellishments and then I ran them through the crimper to add some texture.

One of the buttons has White/Espresso bakers twine through it and the other has a small piece of More Mustard paper in it instead of thread.

Supplies:
Well Worn DSP
Cajun Craze, Not Quite Navy, So Saffron, River Rock, Early Espresso card stock and classic inks
Simple alphabet die
2 1/2" circle punch
1 3/4" circle punch
3" circle die
crimper
dimensionals

I hope you enjoyed the layout and make sure you check out the other fabulous layouts along the way! Your next stop is Raissa Spatola's blog...

TSSC191

I decided to use the new Peekaboo Die for Mary Jo's sketch challenge this week.

There is a 3 inch circle in the background made with the Big Shot using Well Worn DSP and the same DSP is used on top.

The image on the top of the peekaboo tag is from the Daring Adventure stamp set and the image under the flap is from the Tagtastic set, both are stamped in Soft Suede classic ink.

I have added an antique brad and a small piece of Deck the Halls fabric  to the flap.

It is a very quick and simple card, I think I would add some stamping or texture to the Soft Suede layer if I made it again though to add a little to the card.

Shimmery flowers

The Late Night Stampers challenge this week is to use colors in the "In Colors" family.  On this sample, I mixed Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizazz and Lucky Limeade with Marina Mist and Crumb Cake.

The background technique on the paper is my version of the water misting technique and I used Marina Mist and Wisteria Wonder on Shimmery white card stock.

The flower is colored with Wisteria Wonder and I just kept adding more to parts of the petals to make it darker.  The leaves are colored with Pear Pizazz and highlighted with Lucky Limeade.

September Stamp Club

Our layout this month is made with the Cheerful Treat designer Series paper and
the Flower Fest stamp set.

I added some accents with the white gel pen on some of the flowers and filled in some of the butterfly images with makers.

One of our cards features the Spice Cake designer series paper in the Holiday Mini catalog and the other the faux mother of pearl technique.
