Baby

This is another page I did for my niece's scrapbook using the Serif Essentials Alphabet die and the Nursery Nest designer series paper.

I added a little pleated ribbon and a sneak peak fabric brad from the Summer Smooches collection.

Here is our new baby!  We just picked her out last night and brought her home with us.  She definitely has a good set of lungs :)  The kids were out before it 7 am to play with her this morning and had a difficult time leaving for school.

Textured Tea Cups

Our Late Night Stampers Challenge this week is Texture - and if you have followed my blog at all you will know I LOVE texture from my impressions folders :)  so this won't be difficult at all!

For this card, I used the Vintage Wallpaper impressions folder on both the Baja Breeze strip that I cut with the Adorning accents edgelit and also the 3" circle.

As you will see on the last picture, the circle is cut through all the layers on the front of the card.  I attached them all and then ran it through the Big Shot; embossed the piece I cut out and attached it to the inside.  So the part of the circle you can't see that is attached to the inside of the card actually has 3 layers as well.  Using all the scraps :)

Supplies:
Tea Shoppe
Twitterpatted DSP

Sweet Shop

Another project I was working on at my retreat last weekend was some scrapbook pages of my niece, Greta, from about 7 years ago.  The Sweet Shop specialty paper worked great for these pages of her 1st birthday.

I also used the Sweet Cake stamp set along with some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details on the top page.  On the bottom one, I added some of the fun Summer Smooches fabric brads that you will be able to purchase as a sneak peek next month.  I used them to hold up my bakers twine banner.

Need for Speed part 2

Today's card is another one using the Need for Speed stamp set and this time around I used the 4 wheeler.  In an attempt to make it look like mudd splatters, I used the color spritzer tool and my Early Espresso marker, but it didn't quite give it the effect I was going for.

There is a strip of Real Red that I cut with the Tasteful Trim die running through the middle of the card and the designer series paper is a preview of one that will be in the new catalog coming out in June.  It will be available to customers as a preview in April so be on the lookout!

Supplies:
Need for Speed, Grunge Rock
Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight, Real Red card stock

This week I am going to share a couple different samples made with the Need for Speed stamp set.  The first one features the car image and is a very quick and easy card to put together.

I also included a little strip of Island Indigo that I ran through the Big Shot using the stripes impressions folder.  On top of that is a Pool Party star with a designer brad.

Little Bit of Good

There was a few pieces of Cheerful Treat designer series paper floating around my stamp table and I wanted to put them to use, so this is the result of one of the cards I made with it.

The base of the card is River Rock with some Wisteria Wonder on top of that and I threw in some Basic Gray, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White as well.  The leaf image is from the Best Friend Forever stamp set and the sentiment comes from the Pursuit of Happiness.  I added a little Wisteria Wonder bakers twine, a butterfly from the Beautiful Wings embosslit and some basic rhinestones to finish off the card.

Treat pouches

Angie Juda had these adorable pouches on her blog the other day and I had to make up a couple of them.  They have pockets on both sides for little candies or notes and are super easy to put together - you don't even need adhesive!  There is a tutorial on her blog if you would like to make a few.

I used the Beau Chateau designer paper for mine and you might remember the image on the left from a card I posted earlier this week.  As I usually do, I made a few of these images and kept them for other cards or project.

On the second one, I used the Upsy Daisy stamp set and stamped Pink Pirouette and Crumb Cake over the top of each other.

Both pouches have some Victoria crochet trim ribbon at the top to hold the pouch together.

Again the sentiment comes from Pursuit of Happiness (love playing with the sentiments in that set!).

Thinking of You

This is another quick and easy card using the Fresh Vintage stamp set from Sale-a-bration along with the Everyday Enchantment designer series paper, also from Sale-a-bration.

I used Soft Suede classic ink for all the stamping and the sentiment is from Sincere Salutations (I just love that set!).  For the brad, I wrapped the ribbon around the Soft Suede and DSP layer three times and then tied a bow; then I opened up the brad a little and wrapped it around the ribbon before I pushed it through my hole and secured it.

Egg Hunting

Today I have a scrapbook page made with My Digital studio for you.  Our Late Night Stampers theme this week is Easter projects so I thought I would do a page with some of last year's pictures.

I picked some fun bright colors and papers for this one, but it went together quickly.  If you have been thinking about trying My Digital Studio, you now can try it for free for 30 days

Once the 30-day free trial period is over, you can purchase the downloadable or disc version of the software to continue using it. You'll simply open up the trial version you already have on your computer, and will be prompted to enter the product registration key you received after purchasing the software. (You'll receive this key via e-mail if you purchase the downloadable version, and you'll find it along with your shipped software if you purchase the disc version.)

Heartfelt thanks

Today's card uses the fun acrylic paint technique I have shared with you once before.  It is an idea
that we were given in our monthly Stampin' Success magazine that we receive as demonstrators
(this is an awesome perk!!).

You just paint some card stock with acrylic paint and let it dry; then you run it through the Big Shot with an impressions folder and sand it lightly to highlight the texture.

These cards focus on the stamp set Loving Thoughts that is in the Occasions Mini catalog.  It is a great word set that can be used for a lot of different occasions.
