It has been awhile since I shared any digital scrapbook pages and I thought the Downtown Grunge collection would be a great way to showcase pictures from Hunter's birthday party.

This collection comes with designer papers, embellishments and stamps and is

UStamp 3rd Anniversary Blog Hop

Welcome to the UStamp with Dawn and Friends!! 3rd Anniversary Celebration Edition 2012 World

If you have been following the Blog Hop from the beginning, you have just been wowed by Betty Traciak's Petite Purse Mini Scrapbook, wasn't it awesome! Betty is a FABULOUS Designer and always shares something special for UStamp with Dawn and Friends!! events!!

If you are just joining the Blog Hop, no problem, as you can start at any point. All the Designer's Blogs are linked together so you will be able to see ALL the FANTASTIC projects we have for you.

Since it is National Scrapbooking Month, I wanted to create a fun project for a scrapbook.

The project I chose is a 12 x 12 double layout that is centered around a sticky treat that my kids and and probably most kids LOVE! I had the opportunity to chaperon a field trip to the Shrine Circus this spring with my children's school and took some fun pictures that worked perfectly
for this project.

There are not a lot of times when using pink on a page for boys is ok, but I think this one is an exception.

It is always fun to make messes, which is what these boys did with their cotton candy, so I decided to do the same with the layout by adding lots of ink in a couple of different ways.  I love using My Digital Studio for titles and journaling, it is quick and easy every time.

Of course I had to throw that elephant picture in there, another thing that just goes with the circus!

And the project wouldn't be complete without a fun matching card!

As a Special Thank You for stopping by my blog I am giving away BLOG CANDY!!

Please leave a comment about my project to be entered for a chance to win a dynamite prize of 12 inches of ALL the BRAND NEW Stampin' Up! RIBBONS!! Happy

I am so behind on my scrapbooks these days I thought I would throw a page in today.  There are a few Sale-a-bration items from this year on this page - the designer paper and the
Fresh Vintage stamp set.

I used the Designer Rosette Bigz XL die and did not fold the creases before I added it to the left side of the page.

I just love the little trinket keys so I had to add one and the title is die cut with the Timeless type alphabet.

Supplies:

Enjoy Life

I took these pictures of Wyatt at the lake last summer and wanted to do something fun with them.  Daring Adventures seemed like the right stamp set to go with the project and I also used the Well Worn Designer Series paper so this goes with our Late Night Stampers Challenge this week as well.

There are not a lot of embellishments and it kind of feels like there should be a few more things added, but I just don't know what at the moment.

The glass that came with the frame is left out so the panels can pop out just a little bit.

Supplies:
Daring Adventure
Well Worn DSP
Early Espresso, River Rock, Not Quite Navy, Cajun Craze card stock and inks
Vintage trinkets
Curly Label punch
Chocolate Chip satin ribbon
sponges

Need for Speed

I wanted to mess with my watercolor crayons on this card, but I did not want to just use them to add color, I decided to use them for texture by melting them onto watercolor paper.

It turned out kind of fun, although it might need to be sealed since any time it rubs on something, the crayon leaves a mark.

Supplies:
Grunge Rock, Need for Speed
Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla, Basic Gray card stock
Perfect Plum, Marina Mist, Black stazon ink
2 1/2" circle punch
Big Shot

For Maddie

My daughter, Maddie, is just about done with kindergarten and I thought I would make her a fun card since she loves to make them too.  I used the Brights collection designer series paper stack so this card falls into our Late Night Stampers challenge this week too for using designer paper.

I used the Simple Alphabet Numbers and Letters dies and the Perfect Polka Dots impressions folder in the Big Shot.

The stamp set I used is retired and is called Recess, the brads are from the brights collection and I used Whisper White, Pacific Point, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise and Tangerine Tango as my colors for the card.

Hope she likes it!

Happy Graduation

Graduation time is drawing near and I thought I would share another card I have made for that occasion.  This one uses the Domestic Goddess DSP, Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray, Marina Mist and Very Vanilla.

The texture comes from the impressions folder called Finial Press and the stamp is a single stamp that is retired.

Birthday Wishes

Happy Mother's Day!

Today's card uses the Summer Smooches fabric, Delicate Doilies and Bring on the Cake stamp sets along with the color spritzer tool (great for covering up mistakes!!).

I used Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White for my colors and added an antique brad and some 1/4" Real Red grosgrain ribbon.

The inside with some spritzing and a stamped doily.

Thanks a Million

I haven't been keeping up with posting very well this week since we have been planting potatoes but now that they are all in the ground hopefully I will find a little more time for playing with paper!  My preorder box arrived on Tuesday and I didn't even get a chance to look in it until last night.

This card uses a new stamp set called Betsy's Blossoms as well as three of the new In Colors - Gumball Green, Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple.  It is a little difficult to see in the picture, but I cut out several layers of the flower and popped them up with dimensionals.

The sentiment is from Word Play.

Don't forget to stock up on your favorite retiring accessories and stamp sets before they are gone!  You can start shopping by clicking the picture below.

Inspired Birthday

This week's challenge at Late Night Stampers is to use some retiring items and it isn't hard to find some this year with so many wonderful stamp sets and accessories that are going to be gone.

For this card, I chose Inspired by Nature and Happiest Birthday Wishes as my retiring items.

I added a few drops of Crystal Effects to make the flowers look like they have raindrops on them.

Another Confirmation card

I am staying with the Lovely as a Tree theme today with a confirmation card.  I used some retired designer series paper along with Pear Pizzazz that was textured with the Perfect Polka Dots impressions folder.

The sentiment was printed with My Digital Studio and then punched out with the word window punch and layered onto the modern label punch.

Colors:  Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede, Whisper White

Wonderful You

The card I have for you today is a simple one using some texture and neutral colors.

The stamp sets are Loving Thoughts and Lovely as a Tree and I used Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede as my colors.  The texture comes from the Square Lattice impressions folder and I have used dimensionals on all the layers as well.

May Stamp Club

These are our May Stamp Club projects and I have lots of pictures!  The baby card uses a stamp set that is currently unavailable, but hopefully it will be in the new catalog.

The Perfect Details Texturz plate is retiring so if you love it don't miss out!  It was used on this card for texture and then we added some marker to the dotted areas.

This is one paper pack that we had not used yet so I thought I would throw it in at the end  - Berry Blossoms and the sentiment is from Pursuit of Happiness.

The layout uses Flirtatious Specialty paper and some fun spritzing and playing with water and reinkers.

I mixed some Daffodil Delight and rubbing alcohol to make this spritz and added it to the Blushing Bride smooch spritz.  The Wisteria Wonder droplets are made with water and reinkers and the watercolor pen.
