Vintage Verse Butterfly

The card I have for you today uses some Print Poetry dsp behind a tag from the Two Tags die.  I used the 1 1/4" and 7/8" scallop circle punches on the tag so the dsp would show through.

The elegant butterfly was also punched from from the same dsp stack.

The background is the Distressed Dots stamp with Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake card stock.

Supplies:
Vintage Verses, Distressed Dots
Midnight Muse, Crumb Cake ink
Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler card stock
Natural 7/16" trim ribbon

If you have not tried the Delicate Details Lace Tape, you don't know what you are missing :)  It is super easy to use and quick to add a little something to a project.

On this card, I sponged some Primrose Petals on the edge of my Whisper White and then added the lace tape over the top, but you can also use it as a mask by placing it on your card stock, adding color and then removing it.

The base for my sentiment is actually some packaging that comes with the Artisan Embellishment kit and I thought it would be fun to add it to this card.

Supplies:
Pursuit of Happiness
Whisper White card stock
Primrose Petals ink
Whisper White card stock
1/8" Certainly Celery taffeta ribbon
Delicate Details Lace tape
basic rhinestones

I have been in need of lots of sympathy cards lately so in the next little while I plan to show you a few new ones that I have made to restock my card stash.

Simple Birthday

The Late Night Stampers challenge this week is Happy Birthday projects and the card I have to show you today is a pretty simple one.

I layered some Sunshine and Sprinkles dsp on some Midnight Muse card stock and added some two tone Basic Gray/Basic Black ribbon.

I used the Oh Hello and Sassy Salutations stamp sets along with the Ovals framelits for the sentiment.  The final touch was a designer button with some linen thread through it.

February Stamp Camp

We had another fun Stamp Camp not too long ago and I wanted to share the projects we created.

This little treat holder was CASEd from one Dawn created that I thought was so cute!

This card was also CASEd with a little change, the original was created by Bronwyn Eastley.

Lisa created this one and it uses a stamp set I never looked twice at in the spring catalog, but like what she came up with!

Sharing Some More Love

Well, I didn't get these posted before Valentine's Day but thought I would still share them with you.  A few of them could be used for weddings, etc. as well.

The stamp set I used on these is called You are Loved.

A variety of framelits, embossing folders and embellishments were used as well as the Artisan Embellishment kit.

The saying on the card above is actually printed on the dsp (More Amore).

Hope you enjoy them!

Love always

I was playing with the Affection Collection stamp set again and came up with these two similar cards.

The ribbons are from the Artisan Embellishment kit and I chose Wisteria Wonder, Island Indigo, Very Vanilla and Primrose Petals for my colors.

Each ones also has a strip of Very Vanilla that was embossed with the Needlepoint Border folder.

TSSC250

I found time to play along with Mary Jo's sketch challenge again, hopefully I can make it a consistent thing again!

I used the Heart a Flutter, Teeny Tiny Wishes and Affection Collection stamp sets and some More Amore specialty paper.

The scalloped circle is die cut from the Perfect Pennants die and the strip of dsp along the bottom is cut from the Petal Cone die.  The circle is from the 1 3/4" circle punch.

I made mine into an anniversary card since I need one today - 15 years for my husband and I!  Originally I was planning to use Primrose Petals as my card base color, but thought Basic Gray might be a little bit more masculine :)

Remember When

The Late Night Stampers challenge this week involves the Sale-a-bration goodies!  I have two cards to share with you using the same stamp set - Feeling Sentimental, although remember I said I wasn't committed to it so I was using it digitally?  These images are still digital ones, but I have since purchased the set :)

I embossed the sentiment from Word Play with Gold embossing powder and added some Sprinkles and Sunshine dsp and Naturals designer buttons.  The Early Espresso layer is embossed with the Cloudy Day folder.

These cards are also digital except for the sentiment which comes from Lacy and Lovely.  I used Pool Party and Basic Gray as my colors and the dsp is from the Simply Scrappin' Kit called Afternoon Daydream.

The embossing on the two cards above was done with the Vintage Wallpaper and Honeycomb folders.

Hope you come and play along with us!
