Masculine Thanks

I wanted to make some masculine thank you cards for my son, Wyatt, to use when he said thank you for the 1st Communion and Confirmation gifts he received last week.

The first one uses the Dude, You're Welcome thank you stamp as well as some dsp from the same kit.  I added a silver designer button and some Soho Subway dsp scraps to complete it.

The second card uses some retiring dsp from the Fan Fair collection and I used the Vintage Verses (SAB) stamp set.  The colors are Soft Suede and Bravo Burgundy and I embossed the Bravo Burgundy layer with the Vintage Wallpaper folder (one of my favorites!!).

Happy Birthday Soho Subway Style

I am a designer paper lover, I admit it!  This is another one that is becoming a favorite and it is called Soho Subway - I think it might be the combination of colors that grabs me on this one and I have to say I am normally not a fan of Summer Starfruit.

I put together some simple birthday cards using this dsp and the Label Love stamp set and Artisan Label punch.

There are more of those Very Vintage designer buttons with Linen thread again too :)

The Soho Subway designer series paper uses the colors Crisp Cantaloupe, Summer Starfruit, Early Espresso, Island Indigo, and Very Vanilla.

Happy Flowers

The stamp set used on this card is a new hostess set called Happy Flowers and the sentiment is from Label Love.

I chose the new in colors for both my inks and card stocks - Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana and paired them with Very Vanilla.

I love the new Very Vintage designer buttons and added some linen thread to that pairing it with some Victoria Crochet trim.

Lastly, I used the Artisan Label punch to layer my sentiment.

Everything Will Be Ok

I like this saying from the Really Good Greetings stamp set, with all the difficult things going on in our lives and around the world it seems fitting.

I broke out the Quatrefancy specialty paper again on this one as well as the Modern Mosaic folder and Mosaic Madness stamp set.

Punches used were the Decorative Label and Mosaic punches.

The colors on the card are Strawberry Slush, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Smoky Slate and Whisper White.

I still have a few spots open for the first round of Maddiebug Designs Virtual Stamp Club - you can find the information here or e-mail me here

Gingham Garden Birthday

Today's card is quick and easy because that is what I need these days  when I don't have much time to spend stamping.

I used the preview stamp set Label Love and paired it with the Artisan label punch.  The flower is a Fancy flower punch that I rolled with my bone folder and added an antique brad to.

And lastly, some 1" to 1 1/4" strips of Gingham Garden dsp that I tore and added to the card.

Colors:
Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight

More Thanks

I had to use those fun little pinwheels some more so I used up the stash I had from another project and made some fun thank you cards with them.

The Sunshine and Sprinkles designer series paper went well with the Smoky Slate card stock so I used that as my background and embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.

Again as in a post earlier this week, I used the Wacky Wishes stamp set and Decorative Label Punch for the sentiments.

A fun little chipboard covered album with designer series paper, inside pages, 2 stamps, an ink spot and some fun embellishments too!

Above is what I have left over to use when I put pictures in or on other projects.

You can do anything with it that you want, but I thought I would share mine with you.

More Teacher Gifts

I made some more teacher gifts I thought I would share - they are really quick to put together too.

I took a large chocolate bar and wrapped it with some dsp and added a decorative label punch with a thank you on it.  Next, I made a little bag big enough to hold some cards using more designer series paper.

The Storytime designer series paper pack was great for these little projects!  The sentiment comes from Wacky Wishes and I used some Smoky Slate ink (sneak peek color).

On this one, I used a sentiment from Chalk Talk and the Baked Brown Sugar ink (also a sneak peek color) and the same designer series paper.

I added 5 cards and envelopes inside each bag to complete their gifts and used a mix of different occasions for those.

Teacher Gifts

The Late Night Stampers challenge this week is Teacher gifts...

I always like to give my kid's teachers a little thank you at the end of the year, I know it is something I couldn't do and I am grateful for them.

I put together this little box and decorated it with Tea for Two dsp and some Oh Hello stamped images.  The green striped things are cool straws I found and I put them into a 1" x 8" cello bag.

I added a wrapped up candy bar, post it note holder, decorated water bottle and flavor packet, a pen and some note cards.

One down, two to go!

Come on over and see what the team has created to inspire you!

Pinwheel Thank You

I love these little pinwheels, but don't always take the time to use them for my projects.  One day I decided to make a bunch and leave them on my table so they are ready to go :)

I chose the Cloudy Day folder for my background and added a strip of Crumb Cake that I had printed some MDS images on using the Lemonade Stand content disc.

The pinwheel is made with Polka Dot Parade dsp and my sentiment is from Wacky Wishes.

Supplies:
Wacky Wishes
Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Very Vanilla card stock
Pool Party classic ink
Polka Dot Parade dsp
Cloudy Day folder
Labels collection framelits

Confirmation Blessing

My middle child is getting Confirmed today along with his First Communion and this is the card I made for him.  I found the verse searching online and have used it on lots of different Confirmation cards.

I used the Crosses of Hope stamp set and Soft Suede classic ink.

The designer paper is a strip from Epic Day This and That and I added an Early Espresso flagged layer under the dsp and cross.

By the Tide Wish

I needed another masculine card this month and figured since summer is almost here (I hope!) a fishing one would be great.

I used some Fan Fair dsp for the background and the By the Tide and Word Play stamp sets.

The fish is stamped in Certainly Celery ink and the sentiment in Night of Navy.  I added a Naturals designer brad for a little accent as well.

An occasion like this

I have another card created with the Bombs Away Birthday photopolymer stamp set today.  This is a quick and easy one that could work well for a man I think.

I used Whisper White, Basic Black, Basic Gray and Pumpkin Pie card stock and some Midnight Muse ink along with some dsp from the Twitterpatted pack and a Brights button with some baker's twine.
The Basic Black layer has been embossed with the Honeycomb folder.

Pure Gumption

I have some more graduation cards to show you today using the Pure Gumption stamp set.  I went with bright colors and the Polka Dot Parade dsp.

I added some embossed circles that are from the Circles #2 die, some are embossed with the Stripes folder, some the Honeycomb folder and others with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.

For fun I added some large rhinestones and some Champagne glimmer paper stars.

Colors: Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point, Real Red, Old Olive and Whisper White

Memories

I really love using the Distressed Dots background stamp for all kinds of things, scrapbook backgrounds, cards, tags, etc.  It is retiring, but I know it is one stamp I won't let go of for awhile.

On this card, I used Wisteria Wonder ink with it for the background on Very Vanilla card stock.  The tree comes from the Lovely as a Tree stamp set and the sentiment from Blessings from Heaven.

I paired Soft Suede with the Very Vanilla and Wisteria Wonder and added some Artisan Embellishment Kit lace. The tree image is stamped over faux mother of pearl background that I used the champagne shimmer paint to create.
