Scrapping with I Am Me

I had some pictures from my sister's family's trip to Arizona last winter to see our parents and wanted to scrap them for our album.

The pages contain a lot of designer series paper from the I Am Me set as well as some Simply Pressed Clay buttons and faux stitching and dots made with the white gel pen.

My title was made with My Digital studio using the Chevron brush stamp set as a background for the words.

All of the pictures are 4" x 6".

Supplies:
Pool Party, Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Real Red, Basic Gray card stock
Chalk Talk
I Am Me dsp
Real Red classic ink
Extra large oval punch
Scallop edge punch
White Gel Pen

Magnificent Maple

I have a sneak peek for you today from the upcoming Holiday catalog.  The Late Night Stampers challenge this round is Fancy Fold cards so I have incorporated the sneak peel with a fancy fold for you today.

I scored my card stock at 5 1/2" and 2 1/4" and folded it into a Z.  You could do another slightly different version of this fold by scoring at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4"...

I added some Magnificent Maple images with Baked Brown Sugar classic ink and some Sweater Weather Designer Series paper on the panels that don't really show much.

A little 1 1/4" burlap ribbon and a few more images from Truly Grateful and the card is complete...but wait...

I thought I would add an envelope liner to complete the card.

Supplies:
Truly Grateful, Magnificent Maple stamp sets
Baked Brown Sugar classic ink
So Saffron, Baked Brown Sugar, Very Vanilla and Early Espresso card stock
Sweater Weather dsp
ticket duo punch
 1 1/4" burlap ribbon

I hope you come on over and join us

Awesome Soho

For today's card, I pulled out some Soho Subway dsp scraps and some decorative circles that were cut with the Perfect Pennants die.

I added a sentiment from the Yippee Skippee stamp set and punched it out with the Decorative Label punch.  The Very Vanilla layer behind it is a small labels collection framelit.

I used some dimensionals to pop up the layers to give them a little depth.

Supplies:
Yippee Skippee
Crisp Cantaloupe, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede and Summer Starfruit card stock
Island Indigo classic ink
Decorative label punch
Labels collection framelits
Perfect Pennants die

Classic Rock

I just spent some time looking through some project photos searching for my convention swap cards...I don't think I took any photos of them, LOL!  Well, I will find a way to share them with you sometime.

Instead I found this one tucked away in a file and I am pretty sure I haven't shared it yet.

I swiped my Very Vanilla card stock with my Pool Party ink pad and then stamped my sentiment with Soft Suede ink over the top.

A couple strips of card stock and one of dsp, an Antique brad and it is good to go!

Supplies:
Bombs away birthday
Crisp Cantaloupe, Midnight Muse, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla card stock

More highlights and Convention displays

I tried to take a photo that would show the excitement in the room and the fact that there were so many (6000) of us, but I couldn't do it justice.

Ryan who was a contestant on The Voice sang the Be The Difference theme song to open the convention.

One of the props on stage...

The first card I found on the boards - it was actually the tri fold one using the Storytime dsp and they took it apart so there was two pieces on the board.

There were so many great ideas on display and I wanted to share some of them with you.  They had the projects placed on the boards so that if you stood a ways away you could read - INSPIRE CREATE SHARE and SHARE WHAT YOU LOVE.

More to come!
Don't forget about the buy 3 get 1 free designer series paper sale going on right now!

And of course, I would LOVE to have you join my team whether it is for a hobby or a business or a great deal!
