Cheerful Christmas

I have two similar cards to share with you today and given that I am still harvesting crops right now and running low on things to share, that is probably not the best idea on my part!  Oh well, they are just variations on each other so I thought it was best to share them at the same time!

I have used the Cheerful Christmas stamp set and All is Calm specialty designer series paper and stamped both images with Bermuda Bay ink.

The background on the second card is also stamped with Metallic Silver ink and another image from the same stamp set.  I thought the basic rhinestones would be a nice touch as well.

Supplies:
Cheerful Christmas
Bermuda Bay, Metallic Silver ink
Lost Lagoon, Smoky Slate, Whisper White card stock
corner rounder
All is Calm specialty paper
basic rhinestones

Nature's Peace

When you don't have a lot of time to create, this stamp set works well since it has a large image and lots of things going on!  Of course, you could very easily use markers and make the images all different colors as well if you have the time and patience :)

I used Old Olive ink on Old Olive card stock and added some Real Red card stock that was embossed with the Stylish Stripes folder behind it.

Supplies:
Nature's Peace
Old Olive ink
Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Real Red card stock
Lost Lagoon stitched satin ribbon
Stylish Stripes folder

Washi Tape Fun

I was playing around with some clothespins and washi tape one day and this is what I ended up with.  Each one has a small magnet on the back so it can be used on the fridge or magnet board to hold something up.

I added a little flower from the itty bitty accents punches and a basic rhinestone in the middle for a little decoration as well.  A cute and simple gift!  You could use designer series paper instead of washi tape if you prefer as well.

Supplies:
Sweet Sadie washi tape
itty bitty accents punches
basic rhinestones
In color designer series paper stack 2013-2015
Crisp Cantaloupe card stock

School Days

I shared the first day of school pictures with you awhile ago because the signs I had the kids hold were made with My Digital Studio, but now I will share a layout using the pictures and also done with My Digital Studio.

I used the Back to School collection and there are two designer pages all ready to throw pictures into and add your journaling.  I made some very small changes, but essentially these are what Stampin' Up! has put together for us to make EASY pages.

All the elements of the pages are also in the collection as stamps, designer paper or embellishments as well so you can do your own thing if you choose.

Simple Banner

I took a piece of Confetti Celebration designer series paper and cut out pieces so it made a fun banner (the banner is still in one piece, the basic rhinestones cover up where it is held together).

The dots stamped on the base are an image from the August Paper Pumpkin kit adn the little banner behind the sentiment is also from that kit.

Supplies:
Perfect Pennants
Bermuda Bay ink
Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White card stock
August Paper Pumpkink kit
Confetti Celebration dsp

Letterpress Winter

The Letterpress Winter stamp set in the Holiday catalog caught my eye right away because of the image that frames a sentiment for the most part I think.  Of course, that image isn't even on this card I am sharing today!

I decided to stamp the large snowflake image on the card base of Crumb Cake and then punched a 2" circle in the Lost Lagoon layer that went over the top.

The tag was created with the angled tag topper punch and corner punch.

Supplies:
Letterpress Winter
Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow ink
Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagoon card stock
angled tag topper punch
corner punch
2" circle punch
silver basics buttons

Dotty Angles

I was playing with the Dotty Angles stamp set a little bit on these fun boy birthday cards.  The images make a fun and quick background for both cards or scrapbook pages.

The other images and sentiment come from the Boys will be Boys set.

Behind the blocks and robot images you see some grid paper, that is leftover from a printing of some My Digital Studio project and I thought it added to the background a little.

Supplies:
Boys will be Boys, Dotty Angles
Early Espresso, Tempting Turquoise, Island Indigo ink
Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Tempting Turquoise, Island Indigo card stock

Blendabilities in Action

Although the Need for Speed stamp set is retired, I had some stamped images of a few in my scrap pile and I thought I would practice with the Blendabilities on them.  They turned out pretty well, but more practice is definitely in order.

I used the Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler collections.  The background is Gorgeous Grunge images and the sentiment comes from Boys will be Boys.

On each of the windows on the cars, I used the lightest of the Coastal Cabana blendabilities markers.

Supplies:
Boys will be Boys, Need for Speed, Gorgeous Grunge
Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Memento Black ink

Your Sunshine

This saying always reminds me of my daughter so I love to use it!  The card is another simple one using the circle images and saying from Ray of Sunshine, some washi tape and circle punches.

This summer was a HUGE milestone for my little girl, she finally learned to ride her bike after lots of falls, tears and scrapes.  I know that is a big deal for any child, but she has some right side weakness and balance issues due to a stroke she had when she was a baby so it was all the more wonderful to finally conquer it.

Supplies:
Ray of Sunshine
Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede ink
Maritime dsp
Whisper White, Pool Party card stock
Sweet Sadie and Watercolor Wonder washi tape
1 3/4" circle punch
 2" circle punch

Baptism Blessings

I recently need a baptism card and was so glad to have the Blessed by God stamp set available to do it!  Love that set....

The grid background is actually something I printed in My Digital Studio for another project, it was leftover and I thought it would work for this card too.

The middle of the flowers have basic pearls in them, but they are colored with blendabilities to change their look a little.

Supplies:
Blessed by God
My Digital Studio
Baked Brown Sugar ink
Blendabilities
Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz and Lost Lagoon car stock
Flowerpot dsp
basic pearls

Friends Who Know

The saying on this stamp set probably holds true for a lot of friendships or at least is fun to joke about :)

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink and then used blendabilities to color in the uninked spots before I cut it out.

The Honeycomb folder was used directly on the card base this time and I added a small piece of Flashback designer series paper as well.

Supplies:
Friends Who Know
Memento Tuxedo black ink
Coastal Cabana, Very Vanilla card stock
Flashback dsp
Rich Razzleberry cotton ribbon
