You are Gold

Awhile ago I was going through my alterable items stash and decided to do another jewelry box.  This one is intended for a little girl so I used the Over the Rainbow stamp set to decorate the front along with some gold glimmer paper.

After I stamped the "rainbow" I colored it in with Stampin' Write markers and then cut it and the mat out freehand.  My little gold pieces in the pot at the end of the rainbow were punched with an itty bitty punch.

I added Schoolhouse designer series paper all over the box and inside as well.

My card stock colors were Pool Party and Tangerine Tango...

Supplies:
Over the Rainbow
Basic Black, Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Island Indigo and Rich Razzleberry ink
Pool Party, Whisper White and Tangerine Tango card stock
Gold glimmer paper
Artisan punch
1 3/8 circle punch
itty bitty punch

Washi Thank You

Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope you all have a wonderful day with friends and family.  I know I have so very many things to be thankful for this year!

on to the project...
Sometimes I just like to use washi tape for a background on a card instead of designer series paper or an embossed piece of card stock.  That is the case on this one that I have started to add to my stamp a stacks.

I chose some random washi tapes and then added a stamped image from Summer Silhouettes and a sentiment from Cheers to Love in Perfect Plum ink.

Supplies:
Cheers to Love, Summer Silhouettes
Perfect Plum ink
Very Vanilla, Perfect Plum card stock
washi tape

Traveler Birthday

Here is another sample of a masculine card that I put together recently using the Traveler and Endless Birthday Wishes stamp sets.  I added a piece of Mint Macaroon that was embossed with the Boho Chic folder behind some Typeset specialty paper and then added my stamped layers.

The linen thread is just wrapped around several times and attached to the back of the Typeset specialty paper layer.

Supplies:
Traveler, Endless Birthday Wishes
Basic Black ink
Mint Macaroon, Very Vanilla, Basic Black card stock
Typeset specialty paper
Boho chic folder

Life Is Good

I have found too many wooden pieces that I want to alter this fall!  This is a small pallet type piece that I distressed with ink and stamped on before adding my other elements.

I embossed a piece of glassine paper with the Woodland folder and then sewed it onto a piece of corrugated paper...

then, I sewed some designer series paper onto a piece of card stock...

added some linen thread leftover from the September Paper Pumpkin kit, pictures, buttons and a few other elements...

and came up with a Christmas gift!

Supplies:
Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Project Life bundle
Early Espresso, Old Olive, Cajun Craze ink
Daffodil Delight, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Crumb Cake card stock

Masculine Birthday Fish

There is always a need for masculine birthday cards at our house and I never seem to have enough on hand.  Usually I end up making one right before it goes out in the mail!  This one hasn't left the house yet but I think I may put together a few more so I have them ready to go this time!

I used the By the Tide stamp set and some linen thread as the basics for this card.  The hardest part was cutting out the fish, but once you do one it gets faster each time.

Supplies:
By the Tide, Guy Greetings
Sot Suede, Sahara Sand ink
Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Pacific Point card stock
linen thread

Fun Stamp Case Gift

I always have some stamp cases laying around in various sizes so that if I want to put together a little gift with them I have them ready to go.  The one I used on this project is the half size and I added some designer series paper from the Season of Cheer collection behind the plastic covering.

Than, I stamped my sentiment and punched it out with the Note Tag punch and layered it on some more designer series paper that I punched with the Ornate tag punch.

A little linen thread, some white perfect accents and corrugated paper and the front of the case is ready to go...

On the inside, I added some cute little arrow post it notes that came in a Project Life kit awhile ago that I had not used, a regular size post it note pad and some lip gloss and hand sanitizer.

The lip gloss and hand sanitizer are attached with little Velcro pieces so that once you take them off, you can put them back in place again and they will stay there.

Supplies:
Friendly Wishes
Night of Navy ink
Soft Sky card stock
Season of Cheer dsp
Note Tag, Ornate Tag punch
linen thread
perfect white accents
corrugated paper
washi tape
Velcro
half stamp case
post it notes

Fall Sympathy

This is another of the sympathy cards I put together last week using the same sentiment, but I added some watercolor images from the Work of Art stamp set as well on this one.

My designer series paper is retired, but there are lots of other patterns that would look good on this card if you just mixed up the ink colors too.

Supplies:
Heartfelt Sympathy, Work of Art
Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake ink
Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake card stock
Color me Autumn dsp (retired)

Tap Tap Tap

I pulled out the Tap Tap Tap stamp set again for this card, using several of the images.  For the background I chose to use some Neutrals Color Collection designer series paper and then I added a little piece of Lost Lagoon card stock to break it up.

I stamped the typewriter on Crumb Cake card stock and then punched it out with the 2" circle punch before adding it with Stampin' dimensionals.

Supplies:
Tap Tap Tap
Early Espresso, Lost Lagoon ink
Crumb Cake, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White card stock
Neutrals color collection dsp
2" circle punch
