Little Moments

Since I shared a Project Life page with you yesterday where I did not use the cards and elements in the way that most Project Life pages are done, I thought I would share Stampin' Up!'s video for the Project Life Little Moments collection with you today.

AND the video for the This Day collection!

Hope you enjoy them and they give you lots of great ideas!

Harvest Time

No, it is not harvest time in North Dakota right now as the title might make you think...but that is the title of the scrapbook page I have to share today.

It is kind of rate for me to get harvest pictures, we are so busy and I generally don't think to have my camera along with me, but this year I got a few...

I paired the Project Life Seasonal Snapshot collection with the Typeset specialty paper and added an image of wheat from Truly Grateful.

I have found I like to use the Project Life collections on this type of traditional page more so than they are normally used.

The pictures are of my husband and dad checking a wheat field, a shot of some of our potatoes as they go into the bin and of my awesome little combine rider!

Supplies:
Truly Grateful, Harvest Blessings
Hello Honey ink
Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Hello Honey card stock
Project Life Seasonal Snapshot collection

January Paper Pumpkin

The January Paper Pumpkin kit was perfect!  My son decided to use the kit for his Valentine's Day treats at school so I had him fill them up with candy and put on the tab and clip and then I did the rest.

I had to laugh when I went to add the hearts and banner pieces, he had put most of the tabs on backwards, LOL!  I am sure he didn't realize there was a back and a front and it didn't occur to me to tell him that.

We filled them with sour cherry candies (and I think a few missed the bags and were sampled by all three of the kids).

Right now, there are refill kits available in the online store right here and each kit has 24 bags and pieces for each one.  With the refill, you would not get the stamps and ink, but you could easily use something else or even leave them unstamped.

Look like fun?  Right now you can get a discount on the 3 month subscription of Paper Pumpkin.

Everyone needs a little creative fun in their mailbox every month right?

Valentine's Day Decorations

A customer of mine asked me to create some Valentine's Day Kleenex boxes for her.  First, I was not sure how to cover them since 12 x 12 paper would not be quite big enough.  Then I decided to try some of the awesome kraft wrapping paper Stampin' Up! had during the holidays.

It seemed to work perfectly for what I had planned!

I used it on both boxes, but made the decorations slightly different on each one.

On the top, I used the Word label punch to create the hole for the Kleenex to come out.

The stamped images on the box are from the Snuggles and Smooches photopolymer stamp set.

I added some Gold Foil sheets that were embossed with the Decorative Dots folder...

and I had lots of retired red buttons that I made use of!

The die cut hearts are from the Hearts a Flutter framelits set.

Paper Pumpkin Idea

I have used the December Paper Pumpkin stamps for this card, pairing them with some circles cut out with the Circles framelits.  There is some All is Calm designer series paper and some Simply Irresistible specialty paper as well.

I used one of the Crumb Cake blendabilities makers on the Simply Irresistible specialty paper to pop out the flowers.

Supplies:
Paper Pumpkin
Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Early Espresso card stock
All is Calm dsp
Simply Irresistible specialty paper
Circles framelits

I had some leftover pieces from the Baptism banner I shared with you last week and I have made a few cards with them.  This one uses the Big Day (SAB 2015) stamp set for the sentiment and some Painted Petals designer series paper in the background.

You can see I did a little bit of sewing on the card as well, I am still playing around with that just a little bit.

Supplies:
Big Day
Marina Mist ink
Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Marina Mist card stock

Adventure Awaits

When I decided to purchase this stamp set from the Occasions catalog, I intended to use it mostly for scrapbook pages.  I just love the Adventure Bound designer series paper stack and for this card I paired the two together.

When I cut down the designer series paper (it is originally 4 /12" x 6 1/2"), I added one of the pieces I cut to the front of the design I chose to break up the pattern a little bit.

The sentiment is stamped on Kraft paper.

Supplies:
Adventure awaits
Night of Navy ink
Confetti White, Soft Suede and Kraft card stock
Adventure Bound designer series paper
linen thread

Dahlias

I realized I had not used my Regarding Dahlias stamp set in awhile so I pulled it out one day and played with it a little bit.  The two cards below show a the same image stamped on the same color of card stock with the same ink, but one is colored with blendabilities and one is left without any coloring.

On the top one, I used the Coastal Cabana blendabilities to color in the flower.  It pops it out a little, but since it is stamped on Old Olive card stock, it is more subtle than if it was on a lighter color.

This one is left alone and I just added a layer and some extras to it.  Which do you prefer?

Supplies:
Regarding Dahlias
Simply Wonderful
December Paper Pumpkin stamp
Coastal Cabana blendabilities
Memento Black ink
Bermuda Bay ink
Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss card stock
Decorative dots folder
Decorative label punch
Vintage buttons
Linen thread

January Stamp Club projects

January's stamp club projects use lots of great items from the Occasions catalog and the Sale-a-bration brochure.

For the layout, I chose Birthday Bash specialty paper and the Painted Petals stamp set.

On this card, we used the Balloon Framelits dies and Flashback designer.

On the last card, we used some Silver foil sheets, Irresistibly yours specialty paper and For the New Two stamp set.

If this looks like fun, you are welcome to join us either in the Virtual Club or our monthly stamp club!  Just contact me for more information.

To a Great Friend

This card is a quick and simple one that showcases the Stacked with Love designer series paper stack in the Occasions catalog.

The sentiment is from a Sale-a-bration set called Simply Wonderful and I punched it out with the Note Tag punch and layered it onto an altered Note Tag punch.  I folded the washi tape over onto itself so the it was no longer sticky and then stapled it onto the note tag.

Supplies:
Simply Wonderful
Stacked with Love dsp
Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White card stock
Basic Black ink
washi tape
staples
Note Tag punch
