While at the scrapbooking retreat, I tried my best to get a little more caught up on scrapbooking. I did ok, but there are always friends to catch up with or projects others are working on that you need to check out and sometimes progress comes to a halt. That is ok though, it is all about the fun and friends!
There are more Sale-a-bration items on this page (don't forget there are just a few days left to earn your free sets!!) - This Day Project Life Mini card collection, Best Year Ever designer series paper, Best Year Ever accessory pack...

For the final project using the items in the March Paper Pumpkin kit, I created a scrapbook page. The title includes the stitched piece from the kit and the stamped image is from Perfect Pennants.
I added a piece of Sweet Taffy designer series paper along with a couple stamped images and circles.
Here is the group of projects all in one place...I did actually have one half piece of note card left and some thread too.
Hope you enjoyed the projects! If you would like to sign up for this little piece of fun in your mailbox each month, just go here for more details. You can still get in on the Sale-a-bration price for the 3 month prepaid subscription if you act fast! (Ends March 31st). Check that information out right here.
Here are some more fun creations using the March Paper Pumpkin kit. The smaller note cards were cut into two pieces to be used as the background on these cards and the stamped images are made with stamps that come in the kit.
I used one piece of Adventure Bound designer series paper and cut it up to use on a few cards along with some scraps of other colors of card stock and Whisper White bases.
Little variations on each card...
The embellishments were not in the kit with the exception of the epoxy stickers (stars, hearts and arrows).
I had so much fun with this month's Paper Pumpkin kit that I am sharing it in three parts. The cards today are designed the basic way the kit was created. I did change the stitching style just a little bit on a few of the cards, but other than that, these are how they were meant to be...
This card has just a slight variation by using a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Night of Navy behind the card.
I love that Stampin' Up! gave us some fun new Sale-a-bration options not once, but twice in the month of March! For this card, I have used two of the newer options - For Being You stamp set and the Sheer Perfection Vellum stack.
The card was made for the person who had me as a secret pal during the scrapbooking retreat last weekend.
I colored the "thanks" with Coastal Cabana and also colored the back side of the vellum with some different colored markers.
For Being You (SAB 2015)
Memento Black ink, Coastal Cabana and other colored markers
Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie and Coastal Cabana card stock
Over the weekend at our semi annual scrapbooking retreat, I had a make and take project for anyone who wished to make one. These bags were something I had on hand and thought everyone could use a decorated gift bag, right?
We used some pieces cut from the Party Pennants Bigz die and they were also embossed with several folders including the Lucky Stars folder.
Then, we used the Hello Life stamp for our sentiment and added some washi tape and ribbon to complete the gift bag.
I always like to have at least one sympathy card in my stamp a stack rotation and this is currently one of the ones I am using. It includes a piece of the Simply Irresistible specialty paper (SAB 2015) behind the butterflies and sentiment.
