Fear Not

I have been sharing creations made with the Rose Wonder stamp set quite a bit, but there is a reason for that!  The sayings in the set are very versatile and I just love that!

This is one of my stamp a stack cards at the moment and the background uses the Woodland folder and a piece of the Color Me Irresistible specialty paper.

Supplies:
Rose Wonder
Baked Brown Sugar, Delightful Dijon ink
Baked Brown Sugar, Very Vanilla card stock
Color me irresistible specialty paper
ovals collection framelits
scallop oval punch

Welcome Baby

For this card, I was trying to use up some scraps of Sweet Li'l Things designer series paper that I had left from a card class.  For my stamp sets I chose Welcome words and Something for baby adding the safety pins in the background with that one.

I punched out my "baby" using the tree builder punch and added a little piece of ribbon with a safety pin through it for an accent.

Supplies:
Welcome Words, Something for Baby
Delightful Dijon, Pool Party, Tip Top Taupe ink
Tip Top Taupe, Very Vanilla, Pool Party card stock
Sweet Li'l Things dsp
vintage trinkets
tree builder punch
1" dotted lace trim

You're The Sweetest

This card uses one of the colors I use the least out of all of Stampin' Up!'s color selections.  Tangerine Tango and maybe all the oranges are not used too often for some reason, maybe I need to make a point to change that...

Anyway, I used the Apple of my Eye stamp set and stamped a bunch of orange images and a few cherries in the background and then stamped another orange with a sentiment in it on scrap paper and punched it out.  For some texture I added some white perfect accents and It's my party enamel dots.

Supplies:
Apple of my Eye
Tangerine Tango, Watermelon Wonder, Soft Suede ink
Whisper White, Watermelon Wonder card stock
It's my party enamel dots
White perfect accents

Greatest Adventure

Well, I mentioned that my husband and I had an anniversary a little while ago, but I didn't share the card I made for him with you yet... so here it is...

I went with the Going Global stamp set and paired it with some Going Places designer series paper and pieces from the Memories in the Making Project Life collection.

I used Memento Black ink to stamp on the wood piece...

and punched out my sentiment with the Modern Label punch.

Happy Happenings

Sometimes I leave pieces of Project Life kits out on my stamp table to be sure to use them for a project in the near future and forget which set they are from...that is the case with this card!  The background that is watercolor wash and splattered is the card that I am uncertain about...

I paired it with the Happy Happenings stamp set and some It's My Party designer series paper and added a piece die cut using the Mini treat bag thinlits.  This piece has some Pool Party glitter ribbon placed behind it so you can see it through the holes.

Supplies:
Happy Happenings
Melon Mambo ink
Whisper White, Daffodil Delight card stock
Shine on specialty paper
It's my party dsp
basic rhinestones
Pool Party glitter ribbon
Mini treat bag thinlit
circle punches

Celebrate

This is a card I recently gave a friend, it combines the Pretty Petals and Sweet Li'l Things designer series paper and the Balloon celebration stamp set.

I first stamped the balloons and strings on my Very Vanilla card stock and then on scraps of the same color stamped the balloons again using the three step images.  After that, I punched them out with the Balloon bouquet punch and added them to the card with dimensionals.

I added the Expressions natural element ("celebrate") with the glue pen.

Supplies:
Balloon celebration
Pool Party, Soft Sky, Perfect Plum, Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, Wild Wasabi, Basic Black ink
Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla card stock
Pretty Petals dsp
Balloon bouquet punch

Thank You Flowers

When I have the time to sit down and play with double and triple stamping, I love to do it.  It does take a little more time to do it so sometimes it falls by the wayside.

In the Sale-a-bration flyer, there is a stamp set called What I love that has a flower image you can triple stamp.  That is what I used for this card stamping the three flowers with Watermelon Wonder and Blushing Bride.

I did the outline image with Watermelon Wonder, then for the second image I used Blushing Bride and finally, I inked up with Watermelon Wonder again, but I stamped off on some scratch paper first and then stamped the image for a lighter color.

Supplies:
What I Love (SAB 2016)
Watermelon Wonder, Blushing Bride, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi ink
Whisper White, Watermelon Wonder, Daffodil Delight card stock

Thoughts and Prayers

Since I am always in need of thinking of you and sympathy cards, I like to have a variety of them on hand at all times.  This one uses the Perfectly Artistic designer series paper (SAB 2016) and Rose Wonder stamp set.  The background of the designer series paper is slightly variegated and that is easier to see when you are looking at the card and not a picture.

I used the Tags and labels framelits for the sentiment and added some silver baker's twine around the card.

Another thing you cannot see in the picture is that I used the Wink of Stella glitter brush on the rose.

Supplies:
Rose Wonder
Basic Black ink
Wink of Stella glitter brush
Bermuda Bay, Whisper White card stock
Perfectly Artistic designer series paper (SAB 2016)
Tags and labels framelits

February Stamp Club projects

Today I am sharing this month's stamp club projects.  The first is a card using the Suite Sayings stamp set with Wildflower Fields designer series paper (SAB 2016), Circles framelits and the tags and labels framelits collection.

For our second card, I chose the Perfect Pairings stamp set (SAB 2016) and the Have a Cuppa designer series paper set.

Finally, for the layout this month I did something a little different.  I used the Memories in the Making Project Life collection, including the pack found in the Sale-a-bration flyer and made them a 12 x 12 pocket page.

If you enjoyed these projects and would like to try out either my monthly stamp club or my virtual one, contact me here for more information.

I'm Lost

I decided to use some of the Perfectly Artistic designer series paper (SAB 2016) on a card with the Going Global stamp set and at first I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to do with it.  The card below is what I came up with, but I think if I made one similar, I might use the other side of the designer series paper which doesn't have the white on it.

I tore a piece of Crumb Cake card stock for my "shore" and then did my stamping after I attached that piece to the designer series paper.

Supplies:
Going Global
Crumb Cake, Basic Black ink
Soft Suede, Lost Lagoon, Crumb Cake, Whisper White card stock
2 1/2" circle punch
Perfectly Artistic dsp (SAB 2016)

For Being You

In this year's Sale-a-bration catalog there are some different options for items other than stamp set as always.  The first which is only available until the end of today as it is a limited time only item is called Perfectly Artistic dsp.  There is also a Project Life specialty card collection called Memories in the Making and a Vellum paper stack called Botanical Gardens, but my favorite is the Wildflower Fields designer series paper and I have used it in today's card.

I chose two different patterns and then attached them to my card base.  There is a small strip of Blushing Bride card stock over their seam and then I added some white cotton ribbon and a piece of Blackberry Bliss striped stitched ribbon for a bow.

The sentiment comes from the Suite sayings stamp set and I used my Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss markers to ink it up.

Supplies:
Suite Sayings
 Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon markers
Pool Party, Blushing Bride, Whisper White card stock
Wildflower Fields dsp (SAB 2016)
cotton ribbon
blackberry bliss stitched satin ribbon
Tags and labels framelits
