Treat Packaging

I thought I would share this video showing you how they used the You're So Lovely Project Kit.  I think kits are so much fun and it doesn't matter if you are new to stamping or have been doing it for a long time.  The kits come with instructions and pictures to help you put the projects together.

Hope you enjoyed this one!

You are My Everything

As promised, another project using the All about everything stamp set!  This one also uses extra items from the April 2016 Paper Pumpkin subscription.

On the edges of my Kraft card stock, I added 1/4" x 12" pieces of English Garden designer series paper as a frame.

The leaves layered on the bottom of the strip of designer series paper are extras that did not need to make the wreath in the Paper Pumpkin kit (I actually have quite a few more too and they already have adhesive on them!).

A little bit of stamping, corrugated paper and enamel dots and this page is complete!

Supplies:
All about everything
Mossy Meadow ink
Kraft, Night of Navy, Soft Suede, card stock
corrugated paper
enamel dots
April 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit
English garden dsp

Printer's Tray

As part of my dad's birthday gift a week or so ago, I made this printer's tray for him with a photo I took of him and three of his grandchildren last summer at the lake.

I seem to get the best pictures of dad and the kids at the lake so it just seemed like a good photo to use even though there are three of the grandkids missing from this one.

I used some English Garden designer series paper, corrugated paper and Lost Lagoon, Night of Navy, Old Olive and Tip Top Taupe card stock.

For stamp sets, I chose the Going Global, In the Meadow and All about Everything sets.  All about everything is the one we received as a bonus in the last Paper Pumpkin subscription.

I added some enamel dots and buttons for accents as well.

Supplies:
Going Global, In the Meadow, All about Everything
Night of Navy, Old Olive ink
Lost Lagoon, Tip Top Taupe, Old Olive, Night of Navy card stock
corrugated paper

The first one also has some Wink of Stella Glitter brush used in the background of the sentiment which is hard to see in the pictures.  I wrapped some gold baker's twine around the Hello Honey card stock before adding it to my base as well.

On the second card, I added some Timeless Elegance designer series paper and Basic pearls.

Celebrate You Box

I was playing around with my Gift Box Punch Board the other day and decided to use some of the Shine on specialty paper to make a little box.

I chose to start with a 12" x 12" piece of card stock and followed the directions on the punch board for that size...

Then I folded down the top pieces and attached them on the outside of the box before adding some buttons and wrapping Corrugated paper around it.

I took another piece of Shine on specialty paper and cut it down to 4" x 9" and scored it at 1" and 5" and added it to the inside of the box and used it as a lid.

You can see I attached the flaps to the inside walls of the box before I added the "lid".

Supplies:
Suite Sayings
Cucumber Crush ink
Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry card stock
Tea lace paper doily
designer buttons
Gift box punch board
1 3/4" and 2" circle punches
Corrugated paper

Happy Day

I haven't made too many cards with the from Land to Sea stamp set since I purchased it, even though it is great for masculine cards.  For this one, I decided to pair it with the Perfect Pairings set from Sale-a-bration.  I added some English Garden designer series paper as well.

Best Thoughts

As we anticipate the end of the 2016-2017 Idea book and Catalog, I am sharing a quick and easy card made with one of the hostess stamp set that will be retiring.  This set is called Best thoughts and I just love the big flower image.

I chose a piece of Wildflower Fields designer series paper (SAB 2016) for a background piece and stamped my sentiment on a piece of Perfectly Artistic designer series paper (SAB 2016).  The flower image is stamped on Daffodil Delight.

Supplies:
Best Thoughts
Basic Black ink
Whisper White, Daffodil Delight card stock
Wildflower Fields dsp (SAB 2016)

One Tiny Word

This card started out with the pieces of Pool Party card stock that were in my scrap pile.  I decided to add some washi tape to one of the pieces and some Wildflower Fields dsp (SAB 2016) behind it before adding it to a card base.

Then I stamped the side with an image from Stamp A Bag and added the sentiment and some designer buttons.

I love playing with the scraps, I just end up with way too many of them :)

Supplies:
One Big Meaning, Stamp a Bag
Pool Party, Old Olive ink
Whisper White, Pool Party, card stock
washi tape
designer buttons

An Extra Panel

I saw a card one day that had a similar format to this one with the extra panel and wanted to try to make a few of them.  When I measured my card stock I just guessed so I am not sure what the directions were for the card I saw and unfortunately I didn't save it for reference.

What I did on this one was to cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss that was 5 1/2" x 6" and scored it at 4 1/4".  Then I added a folded piece of Very Vanilla on top of it that was cut to 8" x 5" and scored at 4".

The top panel is Mossy Meadow and measures 4" x 3".  I punched out three holes with my crop-o-dile and added some brads to connect it to the Blackberry Bliss piece before decorating the rest of the card.

The cake, candles and base are cut out with a paper snips and added to a 2 1/2" circle of Mossy Meadow card stock.

Supplies:
Party wishes
Blackberry Bliss, Tip Top Taupe, Tangerine Tango, ink
Mossy Meadow, Very Vanilla, Blackberry Bliss card stock
Farmer's Market dsp
2 1/2", 2" and 1 3/4" circle punches
5/8" striped cotton ribbon
brads

A few years behind...

As the title says, I am a few years behind on putting this layout together...my parent's 40th anniversary.  I used several different Project Life card collections to put it together in one of the pocket pages.

I added some sequins to one of the pockets over the top of a Project Life card and added some glitter tape (SAB 2016).  The stamped images are from the Number of Years stamp set (same as yesterday's card).

There is also a little corrugated paper in the mix and enamel dots too.

Supplies:
Project Life pocket page
Project Life card collections (various)
Wildflower fields dsp (SAB 2016)
glitter tape (SAB 2016)
corrugated paper
2" circle punch

75

Today we celebrate my dad's 75th birthday.  ( I have no doubt he has never seen my blog so I am not too worried about him seeing pictures of his card before he receives it!)  I decided to make his card in colors of his favorite things - John Deere tractors and of course NDSU Bison.  In Stampin' Up! terms, those colors are Daffodil Delight and Garden Green :)

The saying that is in the Number of Years stamp set is perfect for his card too so I used that on the front.  On the inside I added the happy birthday with some of the watercolor images as well but I didn't take a picture of it...

The enamel dots are leftovers from a couple different Paper Pumpkin kits.

Supplies:
Number of Years
Basic Black ink
Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock
Arrows folder
circles framelits
enamel dots

April Stamp Club Projects

I wanted to go with a spring theme somewhat this month with my projects.  For that purpose, I chose the Helping me Grow stamp set for one of the cards and also on the layout.

On the first card, I also used the Watercolor Wash and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets and several of the In colors that will be retiring soon.

After I made this one, I decided to change the ink color for the background from Pear Pizzazz (on the above card) to Soft Sky.  It looks much better although I didn't take a picture of that one.

I went with one of my favorite designer series papers on the second card - Timeless Elegance and used a stamp from a retired hostess set for the sentiment.

Supplies:
Helping Me Grow
Gorgeous Grunge
Watercolor Wash
Basic Black, Blackberry Bliss, Pear Pizzazz, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey ink
Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Perfect Plum, Pink Pirouette, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey, Shimmery White card stock
