Painted Tree Sympathy

Lovely as a Tree always works well for sympathy cards in my opinion so I paired it with some different patterns from the Painted Autumn designer series paper collection for these cards.

Beside the tree, I used an image from the Timeless Textures stamp set and I tried out a couple different colors using Pear Pizzazz and Pool Party on the cards shown here.

Get Well Blends

There was more practice using the Stampin' Blends on these cards that I made recently.  My card stash needed some get well cards and I thought the Get Well Soup stamp set would work well to do some more coloring with the Stampin' Blends as well.

I decided to try out a few different colors on the same style of card and added a few embellishments to the soup bowls using the hearts and stars elements and metallic enamel shapes.

Supplies:
Get Well Soup
Memento Black ink

Night of Navy, Real Red, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White card stock

Today's card uses Stampin' Blends to color in the image from the Beautiful You stamp set.  I am still practicing with these markers but have found they are kind of fun to play with.

Give Thanks Box and Product Preview

Before I share today's project, I wanted to share some exciting news about a new product that will be coming soon from Stampin' Up! called the Stamparatus.  The video below will explain all the details!

You can reserve yours starting November 16th!

Today's project is along the same lines as yesterday's cards although I chose to use one of our retired boxes with an acetate sleeve.  I first covered the box and lid with Painted Autumn designer series paper and put the acetate sleeve over the top.

Some cotton ribbon went around the acetate sleeve to break up the designer series paper pattern a little bit.  Then, I did my stamping and punching and added those elements with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Painted Autumn

For these cards, I played around with a couple different things using the same layout and colors.  The Pumpkin Pie background is embossed with the Polka Dot Basics folder and then I added some Painted Autumn designer series paper on one side.

Next, I stamped the leaves and cut them out with the paper snips before attaching them.  For the card on the left, I used the Oh So Eclectic stamp set and used my Stampin' Blends to color in the flower.  On the right, I used the Painted Harvest stamp set and Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach and Soft Suede ink.

Night in Bethlehem

The combination of the Bethlehem edgelits dies and the foil sheets is one I really like to play with.  For this card I chose a background of Night of Navy card stock that was embossed with the Softly falling embossing folder.  Next, I cut out my edgelits from some Champagne foil sheets and layered them on the front.

On the inside of the card, I used the Star of Light stamp set and added a sentiment and some background stars.

Happy Birthday Cup

I always love the patterns in the Coffee Break designer series paper and wanted to use this one on a few birthday cards.  The cup itself is also a pattern in the same designer series paper package...

My sentiment comes from the Big on Birthdays stamp set and I used Early Espresso ink for all the stamping.  This is a card that goes together quickly if you want to do multiples, I just get all the pieces ready first and then put them together.

November Stamp Club Projects

I am a little slow in sharing the Stamp Club projects this month!  This time I chose to do a couple Christmas cards and a layout that could be used for many different occasions.

The first card pairs the Be of Good Cheer specialty paper with the Season Like Christmas stamp set.

For the second card, we used the Winter Wonder embossing folder, Stitched shapes framelits, metallic thread and Every Good Wish stamp set.

Finally, on the layout we used Fresh Florals designer series paper and a few punched pieces for accents.

Remember, we always have room for more if you would like to join either the monthly stamp club or virtual (every other month) club!  Contact me here for more details!

Chocolate Around the World

Since I shared one of these little chocolate treats yesterday I thought I would share the other one right away.  For this tin, I used the Christmas around the world designer series paper and one of the matching embellishments.

In addition to that, I still have some leftover pieces from the Be Merry kit and used a tulle circle and some ribbon as decoration.  There is also a piece of Basic Black card stock punched with the Starburst punch behind the tulle.

Tidings of Joy

As I was trying to start preparing for a weekend retreat, I ran across a few tins in my stash that I had leftover from a few years ago and decided to put together a few Hershey's chocolate gifts.  This one uses some pieces from the September Paper Pumpkin kit as decorations.

I used some Merry Little Christmas designer series paper to wrap the chocolate and some Merry Music specialty paper to wrap a belly band around the tin.  The French horn is die cut using the Musical instruments thinlits.

The sentiment is from the Night in Bethlehem stamp set which has a coordinating edgelit set that I am finding myself using a lot these days.

The colors I paired together were Soft Sky, Fresh Fig and Pear Pizzazz, using Fresh Fig ink as well.

Pick a Pattern Birthday

I always send birthday cards to our families and now that also includes great nieces and nephews so I need to remember to have some kids cards on hand.  The Pick a Pattern designer series paper is a fun one to use for kids occasions and I paired it with the Pieces and Patterns stamp set.  Tomorrow I will share another card using the same paper and stamp set.

I stamped the dinosaur with Memento black ink and colored it in with my Stampin' Blends before punching it out with the 2" circle punch and popping it up over the layers of designer series paper.

Another birthday card today using the same sentiment stamp set and yesterday's card called Big on Birthdays.  This time I paired it with the Blooms and Wishes stamp set.  I chose Berry Burst, Fresh Fig and Powder Pink as my ink colors and added a double banner for the sentiment.

The card is a simple but fun one and you could easily change up the colors in lots of different ways.

Textured Birthday

While I really like the patterns in the Timeless Textures stamp set, I realized I haven't used it in quite awhile.  This card came out of some playing around with it one day using Pool Party, Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz and Early Espresso ink.

The mat on the larger layer is a piece of designer series paper from the Christmas around the world collection.  I think I should have made the Very Vanilla piece a little smaller so the designer series paper could have been showcased a little better.

Another star project to share with you today - this will probably be the last one :)  I have a different type of star as my base this time, a little larger and just stained...

I started with some Merry Music specialty paper and then die cut the Bethlehem edgelits out of Champagne foil and added them to the designer paper.

A lace doily is cut in half and lays behind the designer paper and I added a little big of burlap ribbon and a sentiment from Star of Light.

Missed Your Birthday

In the spring and fall when I am busiest with farm work, I tend to miss a few birthdays on the calendar.  This stamp set will help with a late birthday sentiment!  It is called Sorry for Everything and I paired it with the Naturally Eclectic designer series paper for this card.

I just layered a piece of the designer series paper on some Tranquil Tide and then layered my sentiment on some Night of Navy and attached it at an angle on the designer series paper layer.

Supplies:
