Recipe page

On Soul Scrappers we had a challenge to make a recipe page and I thought I would also combine it with the Create with Connie and Mary challenge of anything but a card this week since I have limited time.

I had posted about these stamped cookies awhile back and thought it would be fun to do the recipe page with them as well.  The page is done with My Digital Studio.

Daisy thank you

I used Mary Jo's sketch for this quick and easy card.

Supplies:
Upsy Daisy stamp set

Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive classic ink

Jolly Holiday Designer series paper

Wicked Cool Chocolate

I saw these cute little treat boxes  here and had to make one, they are super easy too.  I changed a few things, but not a whole lot.  They fit two small candy bars easily and would make a fun package for the trick or treaters :)

Black satin ribbon
silver brads
decorative label punch
Wicked Cool stamp set

Letterpress plates

I tried out one of the new letterpress plates on this card and used Basic black ink on it before I ran it through the Big Shot.  For this card, I actually ran it through with less layers so that I only got the ink impression and not the debossing and decided to distress it a little with some sponged black ink.

The mat color is Cherry Cobbler and I used a couple of the vintage tricket brads on the curly label punch.

Treat card

I used a pattern from Pockets of Inspiration for this card, I just love the little box on the side and in Melanie's example, she used caramels or kisses inside which work great too.

and the inside...
I used the Wicked Cool Stamp set and also the Specialty paper and coordinating Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White card stock.

I am really happy to be able to try out the Simple Alphabet dies, they are definitly something I would not have purchased for myself so they are going to be fantastic for scrapbooking.
I really like this new die box for the Sizzix dies too, they fit inside so nice and help to organize my clutter!
Thanks Sherrill!

Final projects

I thought I would share the actual projects we made at last Saturday's stamp camp after giving you some sneak preview's last week.
The first card is made with the Owl punch and the new Autumn Spice Specialty Paper and highlights several other punches as well.
This is Lisa's card and is made using the Simply Said stamp set,  the Butterfly Embosslit, Top Note Die and basic rhinestones.
I ended up changing the gift card wallet slightly so that this was the front.  The butterflies are layered and the Designer Series paper is also embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Impressions folder.
Next Stamp Camp date for your calendar is the Saturday after Thanksgiving - November 27th.
