Happiness Surrounds

Starting tomorrow, Stampin' Up! has a few new products that will be available to you while supplies last.  I will share those details with you tomorrow and let you know how you can get them but today I have a card made with one of the stamp sets that will be available called Happiness Surrounds.

I just used a base of Whisper White and stamped lots of flower and petal images around the outside using Fresh Fig and Old Olive ink.  For some of the images I stamped off on my scrap paper first to lighten it up a little. The sentiment is on Smoky Slate and is also from the same stamp set.  I added a pearlized doily and some Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to complete the card.

Just a Note

I think this is one of my favorite cards that I have made with the Graceful Glass designer vellum. Again like I did on the other cards I have shown you, I added some Whisper White card stock behind the vellum to make the colors pop out.  This time my background is the Wood Textures designer series paper matted on some Basic Black card stock. 

My sentiment is stamped on a piece of Old Olive and comes from the Wishing You Well stamp set.

Miracles

I recently needed a card for someone who was having twins and decided to use the Wonderful Moments stamp set.  When I stamped the sentiment, I decided to make a little change to the last word - miracle so I didn't ink up the exclamation point at the end and added and s and an exclamation point with my Basic Black marker.

I used the Soft Suede and Call Me Clover Stampin' Blends to color in the image of the expectant mother and some Twinkle Twinkle designer series paper in the background.

October Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards

Here are a couple alternative card ideas using the October Paper Pumpkin kit.  For the first one, I cut down one of the tri-fold bases and used the watercolored part of it as a card layer...

All the elements of the card are still from the Paper Pumpkin kit...

On this one, I used the tri-fold card that I cut the piece off of for the card above and added a piece of Basic Gray card stock behind the laser cut layer.  

Again, all of the pieces of the card (except the Basic Gray card stock) are included in the kit...

October Paper Pumpkin alternative

I had some time to put together my Paper Pumpkin kit this week - the first two pictures are the cards in the kit as they were intended.  I love the laser cut patterns that they created for us!

I again made a scrapbook page using some of the pieces - this one uses only pieces from the kit except the 12 x 12 piece of Grapefruit Grove card stock.

The patterned paper is the inside of the envelopes provided in the kit.

Simply Thankful

I think most of us tend to forget all the things we can be thankful for sometimes, I really like this saying from the Country Home stamp set in the Holiday catalog to help remind me of that.

The card itself is pretty simple, I added one of the floral arrangement images twice behind the Stitched Shapes oval framelit and added a little bit of 5/8" striped burlap ribbon as an accent.  The ink I used was Tranquil tide for all the stamping.

Love Celebrating You

One of the hostess stamp sets in the Idea Book and Catalog is called Hand Delivered and has some fun images you can mix and match.  The cards I made below I designed for birthday cards, but also thought they would be good for a bridal shower.

There is some Frosted Floral specialty paper behind the Stitched Seasons die cut that I stamped on and the images were colored in with Stampin' Blends markers.  I added a little bit of chalk marker to accent a few of the balloons as well.

Hello

The stamp set I used on this card has so many fun examples floating out there on blogs and pinterest.  I just love the little can and pitcher in the sent!  On this card, I colored the can with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends and cut it out with my paper snips. 

The background textures include the Tin Tile dynamic impressions folder, Chicken wire elements and some Frosted Floral specialty paper.  I added a piece of Mint Macaron that was stamped with the little matching tile stamp and Blackberry Bliss ink as well.

Window Thoughts

Awhile back I shared some cards using the Graceful Glass designer vellum paper that had been colored with the Stampin' Blends.  I still have more to share since we colored the entire package at one time - these two pieces of vellum come on the same 6" x 6" sheet and I cut them down to fit on a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card.

The one on the left has a die cut from the Stitched Seasons framelits and the one on the right uses a piece from the Delightfully Detailed laser cut specialty paper.  Both use a sentiment from the Wishing You Well stamp set.

Fill the Season

This is another look at the Peaceful Noel stamp set, this time it is paired with the Joyous Noel glimmer paper and a piece of Dashing Along designer series paper.

When I punched out the sprigs I punched them from the middle of the piece of glimmer paper that is in the background behind the designer series paper since I knew that spot would not show.  That way you can utilize more of the glimmer paper!  

The trim behind the sentiment is called 3/16" braided linen trim and you can kind of pull it apart to give it a different look as I did in on the edges here.

Noel

I really love using the Joyous Noel specialty designer series paper - both the colors and the copper accents make it one of my favorites in the holiday catalog.  If you look on page 29 of your holiday catalog, there is a coordinating stamp set called Peaceful Noel (also see below) that has some fun sayings and designs. 

I put the two together for this card and also used the 5/8" striped burlap ribbon as an accent.  The card is finished off with some red rhinestones.
