Hello Baby

Here are some baby cards with lots of layers and texture using the Paper Blooms designer series paper from Sale-a-bration.  Even though the Sale-a-bration products will not be available after Sunday, I will still continue sharing more projects using them in the future.  

I made sure to use several colors when creating these cards and tying them into the colors of the designer series paper. Each card has a background that was embossed with the Basket Weave folder and the sentiments are die cut using the Ornate Frames Dies.

Touch of ink

Today I again have a couple cards to share with you using the Touch of ink stamp set which is available until the end of the month for free with a $100 product order.  The first card also uses a piece of the Field and Flower designer series paper which is available for free with a $50 purchase.

On the first card, I also added some In Good Taste designer series paper and a Stitched Nested Label in the background.

The Butterfly outline on both cards was stamped with Basic Gray ink and on the top card the fill color was Daffodil Delight, the bottom card, Purple Posy.

Each card also has card stock cut out using the 

Stitched Shapes framelits.

This week I am planning to share more cards made with Sale-a-bration items since you only have a few days left to

These cards are created using scraps of the Paper Blooms designer series paper (SAB 2021), random sizes and patterns put together in the background to create a new pattern.

The sentiments are made with the Many Messages bundle from the Occasions mini catalog.  This bundle will still be available after the end of the month.

As you can see on the second card, I also added a few strips of plain card stock along with the designer series paper patterns.  You could mix and match different collections of designer series paper as well and this is a great way to use up scraps that pile up.

How Did I Get So Lucky?

Here is another card using the Paper Blooms designer series paper from Sale-a-bration.  It is paired with a retired stamp set called Thanks for the Laughs that I really love.

I cut two strips of the designer series paper and mixing the patterns added them to a piece of Night of Navy card stock, the spot where they two patterns meet is also covered by a strip of Night of Navy card stock before I added the sentiment that was die cut with the Tasteful Labels dies.

Berry Thank you

This is a simple set of cards made with the Berry Blessings and Happy Thoughts stamp sets.

I stamped the berries with Night of Navy ink, both for the outline and the middle of the berries, and the leaves with Mossy Meadow for the outline and Old Olive for the inside.  The sentiment is punched out with the Timeless Label punch and the background piece is punched out with the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch.

Petal Messages

I have a collection of cards to show you today using the Many Messages Bundle and Paper Blooms designer series paper 

from Sale-a-bration.  

I chose a couple different textures for my backgrounds, using the Honeycomb folder and Painted Textures folder.

There are several patterns of the designer series paper on these cards as well as some linen thread and bakers twine to break up the colors.

Each of the sentiments was stamped with Many Messages and then die cut with the Messages die - one stamp and one cut through the die cutting machine for all the cards, plus lots of sentiments left over for later use.
