Birthday Truck

We are finally harvesting wheat so the posting schedule will likely have some gaps for a while. I will do my best to keep them coming as regularly as possible.

I have had a lot of fun playing around with the Trucking Along bundle and I think my favorite color for the truck is Boho Blue.

I used a piece of Inked Botanicals designer series paper in the background and then added a strip of Boho Blue card stock that was embossed with the Exposed Brick folder over the top of that. Next is a circle punched from a piece of Fresh as a Daisy designer series paper with the 2" circle punch and the truck image that has been punched out is popped up on top of that.

The sentiment is stamped with the Best Family Ever stamp set and I used a paper snips to make the edges.

Feel Better Daisies

I was playing around with the Wanted to Say dies and paired them with the Delightfully Eclectic designer series paper. The daisy pattern in the background is my favorite of the patterns in the kit and I added a small strip of another pattern on the side that has some stripes and lemons printed on it.

The ovals behind and framing the letters were made with the Framed Florets dies and the lettering was made with the Wanted To Say dies. I popped up the oval frame and letters with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamped with Love

I have used the Stamped with Love stamp set a whole lot yet, but this is one card that I have put together with it, combined with the Best Family Ever stamp set for the sentiment.

The designer series paper layers and sentiment layer are patterns of designer series paper from the Earthen Elegance collection. The little envelope was stamped on Fresh as a Daisy designer series paper and cut out before adding to the image stamped on Basic Gray card stock.

Translucent Congratulations

The stamp set I used on this card will be available in the Mini catalog that comes out in September and it is called Translucent Florals. There is a matching die set as well that I used for the little flower that is popped up above the sentiment.

I used Daffodil Delight ink for the flowers in the background as well as the die cut flower and Old Olive ink for the sentiment and leaves image.

Filled with Love

There are a few steps involved in making this card, but each step is done fairly quickly. First, I two step stamped the flower images using Bubble Bath, Berry Burst, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Lemon Lolly and Mango Medley ink along with the Darling Detail bunde.

Next, I die cut a banner piece with the Nested Essentials dies and stamped a sentiment from the Wonderful Thought stamp set on it. Finally, there was lots of layering using both Stampin' Seal and Stampin' Dimensionals before adding the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack embellishments.

Celebrate

I put together two very similar birthday cards with the Circle Sayings stamp set but stepped one up just slightly with one extra element. For each one, I stamped the cupcake image on a 2 1/4" circle and colored in the frosting and cupcake, then I stamped the same image on some Bright and Beautiful designer series paper and cut out the cupcake liner with my paper snips before adding it to the image on the circle.

In the background, each card has a piece of Bright and Beautiful designer series paper, a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and a piece of ribbon from the 3/8" Sheer Ribbon Combo pack. 

The one on the left also has a die cut made with the Darling Details dies popped up at an angle. I used the paper snips on the edges to cut an angle as well.

Birthday Zone

A recent card order had me realizing that I did not have enough options for making cards for young children so one of the stamp sets I decided to purchase was the Construction Zone set. It has some cute images that will work well for little boy cards.

I did a little random stamping in the background with some of the smaller images in the set and then added the crane to a piece of Basic White card stock before coloring it with Stampin' Write Markers. I stamped the present on some scrap card stock and colored it in before using my paper snips to cut it out. It was then popped up near the hook of the crane.

There are strips of two different designer series papers in the background - Hello, Irresistible and Earthen Elegance. 

The sentiment comes from the Artistically Inked stamp set and I used the paper snips to make the banner edges.
