Just Because

I will be away from posting this week but thought I would share a card with you today. This one uses just a few products, but I really like the way it turned out.

I used the Blooming Phrases stamp set; I love the font used in this set! The designer series paper is from the Timeless Plaid collection. I used one of the embossing folders in the Glass and Garden set for the Secret Sea card stock behind the sentiment.

October Stamp Club Projects

I have missed a few months of stamp club projects, and I am still behind, but these are the October cards and scrapbook pages we put together.

The first card uses the Traditions of Christmas designer series paper, Branching Out dies, Peaceful Greenery Folder, Ornamental Christmas stamp set, and Delightful Decorative Dots. 

On the second card, we used the Sentimental Framing dies, Streaked Dots, Gathering Together designer series paper, and the Gathering Moments stamp set.

Turtle Birthday

The stamp set I used on this card along with the die cut for the sentiment are retired, but I think this little turtle is super cute! I added some current designer series paper collections and the Spotlight on Nature dies to finish the card.

The designer series paper directly attached to the card base is called Boho Vibes and the pattern on top of that comes from the Florals in Bloom collection. There are some Shades of Greens hexagons used for accents.

Happy Retirement

While I like the idea of Stampin' Up!'s 6" x 6" designer series paper, there are some of the smaller packages that I would love to have in 12" x 12" size and the Beautiful Gallery collection The designs and colors are so rich and vibrant, and they make creating a 

card very easy.

I used a pattern with shades of blue, so I decided to add Secret Sea, Balmy Blue and Basic Beige in as card stock colors along with Pebbled Path. The sentiment is from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set and I used the Dashing Designs embossing folder on the Pebbled Path card stock.

Floral Impressions

As I put together this post, I am discovering a few products used on this card are retired and am having trouble determining where they came from. The sentiment die cut was a Paper Pumpkin addon item, but I am not completely sure what stamp set the sentiment is from. 

The designer series paper is from the Floral Impressions collection, and I just love this one - the colors and patterns make it so fun to create cards with. The die cut behind the sentiment is made with the Sentimental Framing dies, and the embellishments are 2025- 2027 In Color Flat Pearls.

Time to Celebrate

There are lots of times when I am grateful to have some stamped and die cut sentiments from the More Messages bundle ready to go when I need to make a quick card. The sentiment on this card is made with that bundle.

The designer series paper in the background is part of the Florals in Bloom collection, which has beautiful colors and flower patterns. 

I embossed a piece of Basic White card stock with the Sunflower 3d embossing folder and a piece of Strawberry Slush with one of the Glass and Garden embossing folders.

The background designer series paper is from the Thoughtful Journey collection which is a 6" x 6" collection, and you can see the other patterns in the picture below.

I decided to leave this without a sentiment for now and plan to add one later when I decide what to use the card for!

Creative Retreat

If you are local to my area, there is a really fun event coming up for all kinds of crafters November 14 - 16th.

The retreat goes from 12:00 pm Friday the 14th until 2 pm Sunday the 16th

Cost is $150 for the whole weekend which includes food and lodging

OR $75 for just Saturday

There is a massage therapist on hand Friday and Saturday for an extra charge
