Blackberry Flower Patch

I used the Flower Patch stamp set to create a background image on a piece of card stock and cut it into several pieces to make a few cards.  Just like making your own designer series paper really...

Behind the custom paper, I added a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock that was embossed with the Large Polka Dot folder and then added some Hello Honey stitched ribbon.

Typeset Blend

Realizing I had not pulled out my Perfect Blend stamp set for quite awhile, I decided to make a couple cards using it and some scraps from my scrap bin.

I stamped the cup images on Very Vanilla and Typeset specialty paper and cut out the pieces.  Then I added a little color with my Coastal Cabana blendabilities markers.

The sentiments are punched with the hexagon punch and on the card above, I added some 7/8" Sahara sand lace trim and a piece of Flashback designer series paper.

You have seen the basic part of the card above a time or two, I guess I made too many of this layer for a project at one time, LOL!

Moon Lake

I really like the images in the Moon Lake stamp set that is in the Occasions catalog, but as you probably know already, I don't enjoy coloring a whole lot.  On this card, I used my blendabilities to add a little color after I stamped the image on Baked Brown Sugar card stock.

The background is a couple different patterns of designer series paper from the Adventure Bound stack.

Little Addition

The Occasions catalog has a fun layout of baby card, gift packaging and page ideas to go along with the new baby themed products.  Using one of the stamp sets on page 39, I put together this card.

I did use the Painted Blooms designer series paper instead of the Sweet Dreams dsp that is on the same page as the stamp set.  In addition I used some Linen thread, Baker's twine and a layered Decorative label punch.

Thinking of You

Crazy About You is a new stamp set in the Occasions catalog on page 31 that has 28 different sayings plus 3 images (two flowers and one stem with leaves).  It is a very versatile set and I paired it with the Butterfly Basics stamp set for this card.

So Very Kind

Today's card uses a different color combination that I have used before.  It includes Crisp Cantaloupe, Blackberry Bliss and Coastal Cabana.  I chose an image from Best Day Ever (SAB 2015) for the background and added some Best Year Ever (SAB 2015) designer series paper and also a piece of All is Calm specialty paper.
The sentiment is from Big on You and I added a gold designer button and some baker's twine to complete the card.

More Guy Greetings Ideas

Here are a couple more cards using the Guy Greetings stamp set and Adventure Bound designer series paper.  I think the designer series paper adds a lot to the card and haven't added a whole lot more.

Behind the sentiment and image layer is a decorative label punched piece of Cherry Cobbler and I have also added a small paper clip from the basic hodgepodge clips assortment.

Butterfly Birthday

This is really a pretty simple card using just one layer of card stock and a few embellishments.  The butterfly is cut out using the butterflies thinlits on In Color designer series paper (2013-2015) and I have placed some Sahara Sand 7/8" lace trim behind it.

The flower image is stamped in Crumb Cake and the sentiment in Coastal Cabana ink.

Guy Greetings

There is a stamp set in the Occasions catalog called Guy Greetings and it covers lots of different occasions.  I have used three of the images for the cards below and paired this set with the Adventure Bound designer series paper stack.

It's Your Day!

The specialty paper Stampin' Up! has given us as a Sale-a-bration item is so much fun to play with.  It is called Simply Irresistible and for this card I sponged some Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango on the polka dotted pattern.
Since I didn't need the whole piece for the card layer, I punched out a couple bitty butterflies as accents on the front of the card and also on the inside.

There is also a strip of Sahara Sand 7/8" lace trim and some 7/8" cotton ribbon behind the sentiment.

Heart Box

I am sure you have seen the adorable Decorative Window Gift boxes in the Catalog and Idea book on page 200...I decided to make a little Valentine's Box with one of them and added a shaker aspect to the window.
I die cut a circle that was just bigger than the window sheet on the box and used the shaker frames dimensional adhesives to add it to the underside of the window sheet after I added some sequins and punched out hearts.

To the outside, I added some Stacked with Love designer series paper and a button to the sides and some baker's twine (from the January Paper Pumpkin kit) and a tag (using a stamp also from the January Paper Pumpkin kit).

Happy Valentine's Day!  Those of you who know me also know that today is my anniversary - 17 years already!  We get to spend the day at a junior high boys basketball tournament cheering on our oldest son and his team.
I thought I would share the card that my daughter made for her class for Valentine's Day.  She always comes to help me with my Stamp a Stacks and this happened to be one of the card options a time or two so she just decided to sit down and whip together about 16 of them.  She added a box of Sweet Tart conversation hearts and put them in an envelope.

Just for You

Although I haven't found a lot of time to play with them yet, I really like the chalkboard paper and ColorBox Chalk ink pads.  On this card I paired them with the Balloon Bash stamp set and some Stacked with Love designer series paper.

On a separate piece of Whisper White card stock, I stamped the image a second time and cut out the banner, placing it on the chalkboard paper with Stampin' dimensionals.

Today I have something other than a card for you!  It seems like it is hard to get time to put pages together these days, but I hope to get more of them created soon!

I thought the Kraft paper would be a good pairing with the Adventure Bound designer series paper for this page.  I added a title from the Adventure Awaits stamp set and a pennant cut using the Party pennants bigz die.
