Decorative Dots Birthday

The cards below vary just a little but both have the same basic pieces and elements.  On the one on the left, I added ink to the Decorative Dots folder and placed it on my card stock and rubbed.  The one on the left was run through the Big Shot with the same folder and no ink.

On each card, the flower images are from Mother's Love and the sentiments from Celebrate Today.  I added some Blushing Bride cotton ribbon behind each Strawberry Slush layer as well.

Supplies:
Mother's Love, Celebrate Today
Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow, Strawberry Slush ink
Whisper White, Strawberry Slush, Smoky Slate card stock
Blushing Bride cotton ribbon

Feathered Thanks

I have used a scrap of some retired designer series paper for this card and added some stamped images from Lovely Amazing You and Summer Silhouettes.

This is a pretty quick and simple card to put together if you need a lot of thank yous (or some other sentiment) at once.

Supplies:
Lovely Amazing You, Summer Silhouettes
Coastal Cabana, Soft Suede and Baked Brown Sugar ink
Whisper White, Baked Brown Sugar and Crumb Cake card stock
Bracket Label punch

Fun Fun Fun

When her brothers have baseball games, Maddie doesn't ever want to miss a game.  It isn't because she loves to watch them, it is because she wants to find someone to play with!  This day she happened to luck out and find a friend to run around with and play with dolls.

I used the Project Life Playground card collection and accessory pack for the layout and added a basic hodgepodge clip.

The title is made from the stickers in the accessory pack.

Supplies:
Project Life Playground card collection and accessories pack
basic hodgepodge clips
Project Life photo pocket pages, variety pack

I Think You're Great!

Well, I hope that I can keep posting steadily again, but we will see!  The crops are all in (YEAH!!) but we still have some potatoes to ship, hopefully that will also be completed this week though.

This card uses the stamp set in the new catalog called I Think You're Great.  The "hi" image could be punched out with the Tree Builder punch but in this case, I just used my paper snips to cut it out.

I added a strip of the Envelope paper in Tip Top Taupe behind the sentiment and also a little piece of Mint Macaroon 1" dotted lace trim.

Supplies:
I think you're great
Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder ink
Whisper White card stock
Envelope paper
1" Mint Macaroon dotted lace trim
staples

Happy #13!

Well today we have another big birthday in our house, my oldest son turns 13!  I do not know where the time has gone...

I used the Lucky Stars embossing folder on the Pumpkin Pie card stock after I did a little stamping on it.  The "happy" comes from the Hello you thinlits and the stamps are from Memorable Moments.

May Paper Pumpkin

I wanted to share the video for the May Paper Pumpkin with you since it might be awhile until I can share samples.  We are planting potatoes at the moment so I don't have any fun time in the stamp room for awhile!

Enjoy!

For you

I had some fun taking apart the thick bakers twine for this card.  There are a few layers above and below the twine so I attached it with dimensionals and that worked well.

The sentiment comes from Mother's Love and the dsp strip is from the Bermuda Bay Celebration add on kit.

Supplies:
Mother's Love
Smoky Slate ink
Whisper White, Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay card stock
thick bakers twine
Stylish Stripes folder
Apothecary Accents framelits

Happy 14th!

Recently my son went to a friend's birthday party and this is the card I put together for him to use.  I cut the "happy" out with the Hello you thinlits and the Project Life card collection from Sale-a-bration.  That is also used for the background on the card.

The stamping was done with the Memorable Moments stamp set and I cut out the label with the labels collection framelits.

Memorable Moments
Blackberry Bliss, Tangerine Tango ink
Whisper White, Coastal Cabana card stock
Labels collection framelits
Hello You thinlits
Paper tea lace doilies
Project Life card collection (SAB 2015)

5th Grade Play

One day I will figure out the best way to photograph Project Life layouts with good lighting and no glare, I really will!  They look so much better than the pictures, ugh!

My son had a quarter of drama class this year and at the end the class put on a play for students and parents and whoever wanted to watch.  This page represents that and will be in his scrapbook so he can remember the fun they had :)

I love the adhesive cork letters in the Happiness Is Project Life accessory pack.  I chose to separate my title into different pockets using those letters and the "th" after the 5 is from the Memorable Moments stamp set.

Supplies:
Happiness Is Project Life card collection and accessory pack
Memorable Moments stamp set
Coordinating card stock and ink (Blackberry Bliss and Crumb Cake)
Project Life journaling Pen

Moon Lake

Today my husband has a big birthday.  The card I made for him uses the Adventure Bound designer series paper, two different patterns in the pack, and images from Moon Lake and Guy Greetings.

I added a matted layer of the same design of dsp over the top of the first one and placed brads in the corners.  After I stamped the Moon Lake images I used some markers to color them in a little bit.

Supplies:
Guy Greetings, Moon Lake
Memento black ink
Adventure Bound dsp
Night of Navy, Crumb Cake card stock
brads
