Approaching Perfection

In the next couple of weeks I am planning to share projects that were created with items that will be available in the upcoming mini catalog in January as well as the Sale-a-bration catalog for January and February.  

The stamp set and the designer series paper used on these cards are both free Sale-a-bration items that you can earn starting in January.  The stamp set is called Approaching Perfection and the designer series paper is a 6" x 6" stack called Oh So Ombre.

I used the Postage punch and Label Me Lovely punch to layer the sentiment on a couple of these cards and added some white baker's twine as well.

Just a Card

Today I have some cards to share with you that are made with some products that will be in the mini catalog beginning in January.  The designer series paper and punch also will coordinate with a stamp set and some fun embellishments but for these cards, i used a different stamp set for the sentiment.

The designer series paper is called Dandy Garden and it is a 6" x 6" paper stack with lots of fun and colorful prints.  I chose to use a few of them on these cards and the dragonflies are also punched out right from the designer series paper.

The punch will cut two dragonflies, one this size and a much smaller one.

The sentiment is from a stamp called Many Messages and the cool thing about it is that it is a large stamp with lots and lots of sentiments. The coordinating die cuts the entire thing out at once and you have almost 20 sentiments ready to go just like that!

Next Adventure

This is a pretty simple card that could be used for graduation, retirement, new job, etc.  I used a sentiment from the retired On To Adventure stamp set on a die cut piece of Whisper White made with the stitched rectangles set.

The designer series paper on both the outside and inside comes from the World Of Good Specialty paper collection.

All My Heart

One of my favorite colors is Soft Sea Foam and for this card I used lots of it!  The card base, next layer and ink color are all the same, although I should have made the sentiment ink a little darker color or reinked my stamp pad as it is a little bit light.

The sentiment is punched out with the Postage punch and I added some Daffodil Delight ribbon behind it for a little accent and to break up the color a little bit.

Best Days

I send birthday cards out to all of our family members and my husband has 10 brothers and sisters so with all their family members along with my side it gets to be quite a few.  These cards were put together for a couple of the November birthdays using some Gilded Autumn specialty paper as the focus.

The card stock colors coordinate with the paper - Mint Macaron, Cinnamon Cider, Early Espresso and Cajun Craze...my sentiments come from the Itty Bitty Birthdays and Beautiful Friendship stamp sets.
