The image is colored with blendabilities markers, but the regular markers work just as well.

Typeset Blend

Realizing I had not pulled out my Perfect Blend stamp set for quite awhile, I decided to make a couple cards using it and some scraps from my scrap bin.

I stamped the cup images on Very Vanilla and Typeset specialty paper and cut out the pieces.  Then I added a little color with my Coastal Cabana blendabilities markers.

The sentiments are punched with the hexagon punch and on the card above, I added some 7/8" Sahara sand lace trim and a piece of Flashback designer series paper.

You have seen the basic part of the card above a time or two, I guess I made too many of this layer for a project at one time, LOL!

Supplies:
Perfect Blend
Coastal Cabana ink and blendabilities, Memento Black ink
Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Basic Black card stock
Typeset specialty paper
Flashback designer series paper
Circles framelits
Chevron folder
Hexagon punch
7/8" Sahara Sand lace trim

Moon Lake

I really like the images in the Moon Lake stamp set that is in the Occasions catalog, but as you probably know already, I don't enjoy coloring a whole lot.  On this card, I used my blendabilities to add a little color after I stamped the image on Baked Brown Sugar card stock.

The background is a couple different patterns of designer series paper from the Adventure Bound stack.

Supplies:
Moon Lake
Confetti White, Baked Brown Sugar card stock
Adventure Bound dsp
Early Espresso ink
Crumb Cake, olive, Coastal Cabana blendabilities markers

February Stamp Club projects

This month at stamp club the cards focus on blendabilities.  I have chosen the Love is Kindness and A Happy Thing (SAB 2015) stamp sets for the images and used the Daffodil Delight and Cherry Cobbler blendabilities.

This card pairs the Arrows impressions folder with some organza ribbon for the background.

There is a strip of Painted Blooms designer series paper behind the image on this one.

And on the layout, I have chosen to use the Best Year Ever (SAB 2015) designer series paper as the focus pairing it with card stock colors that coordinate.

I also stamped an image from Best Year Ever (SAB 2015) on the right side page in the corner.

Dahlias

I realized I had not used my Regarding Dahlias stamp set in awhile so I pulled it out one day and played with it a little bit.  The two cards below show a the same image stamped on the same color of card stock with the same ink, but one is colored with blendabilities and one is left without any coloring.

On the top one, I used the Coastal Cabana blendabilities to color in the flower.  It pops it out a little, but since it is stamped on Old Olive card stock, it is more subtle than if it was on a lighter color.

This one is left alone and I just added a layer and some extras to it.  Which do you prefer?

Supplies:
Regarding Dahlias
Simply Wonderful
December Paper Pumpkin stamp
Coastal Cabana blendabilities
Memento Black ink
Bermuda Bay ink
Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss card stock
Decorative dots folder
Decorative label punch
Vintage buttons
Linen thread

Banner Blessings

I just love the new photopolymer stamp set called Banner Blessings!  The card I am sharing today uses it and I had to take a picture with my phone because I gave it away shortly after I made it...sorry for the poorer quality of the picture!

I chose to add a circle of the image from Pleasant Poppies behind the saying and used the Coastal Cabana blendabilities markers to make the saying pop.

Supplies:
Banner Blessings, Pleasant Poppies
Memento Black ink
Very Vanilla, Pool Party card stock
Coastal Cabana blendabilities
Typeset specialty paper

Blendabilities in Action

Although the Need for Speed stamp set is retired, I had some stamped images of a few in my scrap pile and I thought I would practice with the Blendabilities on them.  They turned out pretty well, but more practice is definitely in order.

I used the Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler collections.  The background is Gorgeous Grunge images and the sentiment comes from Boys will be Boys.

On each of the windows on the cars, I used the lightest of the Coastal Cabana blendabilities markers.

Supplies:
Boys will be Boys, Need for Speed, Gorgeous Grunge
Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Memento Black ink
Blendabilities markers
Whisper White and Smoky Slate card stock

Baptism Blessings

I recently need a baptism card and was so glad to have the Blessed by God stamp set available to do it!  Love that set....

The grid background is actually something I printed in My Digital Studio for another project, it was leftover and I thought it would work for this card too.

The middle of the flowers have basic pearls in them, but they are colored with blendabilities to change their look a little.

Supplies:
Blessed by God
My Digital Studio
Baked Brown Sugar ink
Blendabilities
Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz and Lost Lagoon car stock
Flowerpot dsp
basic pearls
Decorative Dots folder
