December Stamp Club Projects

This month's stamp club projects were a mix of things - a masculine birthday card, a Christmas card and a layout that is kind of spring like...

For the Christmas card, I chose the Home for the Holidays designer series paper and Peaceful Pines stamp set...

and the masculine card uses an image from Traveler and sentiment from Tin of Cards over some Typeset specialty paper...

On the layout, I chose to use the Summer Silhouettes stamp set and English Garden designer series paper along with some of the Envelope paper...

If you like these projects and would like to try out either my monthly stamp club or virtual stamp club, contact me here!

Altering Note Books

One of the items that usually is a great seller at the one and only craft show I attend is altered notebooks.  The people that purchase them love to give them for teacher gifts or just keep them for their own.

I have a couple to share with you today that I made for this fall's craft show, the first one uses Into the Woods designer series paper and the Hello Life stamp set.

The second one uses some Typeset specialty paper and Happy Haunting designer series paper.  The card is from the Project Life Moments like these collection.

The notebooks are really quite fast to put together and I used the Tear and Tape adhesive to attach all the designer series paper layers.

Supplies:
Hello life
Old Olive Ink
Into the Woods, Happy Haunting dsp
Typeset specialty paper
Soft Suede, Whisper White, Old Olive card stock

March Stamp Club projects

This month all the projects included a little bit of grunge in them...

We used Work of Art and Lovely Amazing You on the first card as well as a strip of Lullaby designer series paper.

Next, we inked up the Butterfly Basics and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets...

and for the layouts we used the same stamp sets as the second card along with some die cuts created with the Cards and Labels Project Life framelits set.

We always have room for more in the monthly stamp club or our virtual ones so if you have questions or are interested in joining, contact me here.

Typeset Blend

Realizing I had not pulled out my Perfect Blend stamp set for quite awhile, I decided to make a couple cards using it and some scraps from my scrap bin.

I stamped the cup images on Very Vanilla and Typeset specialty paper and cut out the pieces.  Then I added a little color with my Coastal Cabana blendabilities markers.

The sentiments are punched with the hexagon punch and on the card above, I added some 7/8" Sahara sand lace trim and a piece of Flashback designer series paper.

You have seen the basic part of the card above a time or two, I guess I made too many of this layer for a project at one time, LOL!

Supplies:
Perfect Blend
Coastal Cabana ink and blendabilities, Memento Black ink
Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Basic Black card stock
Typeset specialty paper
Flashback designer series paper
Circles framelits
Chevron folder
Hexagon punch
7/8" Sahara Sand lace trim

Adventure

Today I have something other than a card for you!  It seems like it is hard to get time to put pages together these days, but I hope to get more of them created soon!

I thought the Kraft paper would be a good pairing with the Adventure Bound designer series paper for this page.  I added a title from the Adventure Awaits stamp set and a pennant cut using the Party pennants bigz die.

Supplies:

Mossy Meadow, Island Indigo ink

Harvest Time

No, it is not harvest time in North Dakota right now as the title might make you think...but that is the title of the scrapbook page I have to share today.

It is kind of rate for me to get harvest pictures, we are so busy and I generally don't think to have my camera along with me, but this year I got a few...

I paired the Project Life Seasonal Snapshot collection with the Typeset specialty paper and added an image of wheat from Truly Grateful.

I have found I like to use the Project Life collections on this type of traditional page more so than they are normally used.

The pictures are of my husband and dad checking a wheat field, a shot of some of our potatoes as they go into the bin and of my awesome little combine rider!

Supplies:
Truly Grateful, Harvest Blessings
Hello Honey ink
Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Hello Honey card stock
Project Life Seasonal Snapshot collection

County Fair

The county fair is always such a fun time, I try to get some fun pictures each year for  the kids scrapbooks, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.  This year I was able to get a couple good ones and put together pages for each child.

I had some leftover stamped and die cut Perfectly Preserved images that I thought went well with the theme and added some Typeset specialty paper and some sewing as well.

The sewing is a new thing for me and it was fun to play with a little without getting too technical.

Supplies:
Perfectly Preserved
Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Basic Gray ink
Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Smoky Slate card stock
Typeset specialty paper

Enjoy the Fuss

One of my son's friends had a birthday recently and this is the card I made for him.  I made the card base 5 1/2" x 1 1/4" and added the Pear Pizzazz to it (8" x 5", scored at 4").

I cut down one of the die cuts from the gift card envelope and trims thinlit to make the small arrow and added a couple of candy dots to it.

On the inside, I used the gift card envelope die to make a pocket that would fit either a gift card or $$ and attached the flap to the base.

Supplies:
Big News
Memento Black, Pacific Point ink
Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Pacific Point and Pear Pizzazz card stock
Brights candy dots
Gift card envelope and trims thinlit
