Watercolor Birthday

I went into the scrap and leftover bin for most of this card using a background that I had already embossed and another background that I had already stamped.

I used a portion of the Watercolor Wash image behind the flower image and then when I went to add the sentiment I decided to add some color to that as well, using an image from For All Things and stamping it over and over again...

Supplies:
Butterfly Basics, For all Things, Watercolor Wash
So Saffron, Memento Black ink
Pistachio Pudding, Tip Top Taupe, Whisper White, Blushing Bride card stock
tea lace paper doilies
Large polka dot folder
burlap ribbon

Grateful

I always like to find different ways to use up all the patterns in the Halloween themed paper packs because I generally don't do that many cards or projects for Halloween.  On this card, I used one of the patterns behind the die cut wood piece found in the Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Project Life accessory pack.

I added some sequins that also came in the package, Venetian crochet trim ribbon and a sentiment from the For all Things stamp set that I cut apart after I stamped it.

All of that is layered onto some Crumb Cake card stock that is embossed with the Large Polka Dots folder.

Supplies:
For all things
Early Espresso ink
Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla card stock
Happy Haunting dsp
large polka dot folder

Give Thanks

While I have been sharing some Christmas and Halloween project once in awhile lately, I don't want to forget about giving thanks.  During the harvest season especially, but every day as well I think it is important to give thanks for all that we have been given and thought a couple cards in that theme would be a good idea.

The stamp set I used is called For all things and I love the watercolor images in this set.  I chose to make two different styles although they are similar in layout.

The one above uses some Farmers Market designer series paper and some Venetian crochet trim ribbon while the one below uses some Into the Woods designer series paper and a strip of Crumb Cake stamped with acorns.

Supplies:
For all things
Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake ink
Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler card stock
Venetian crochet trim ribbon

Fall Challenge for LNS

We have another challenge at Late Night Stampers for the month of November.

At this time of year family and friends are foremost in our thoughts. This month create a project that shows Fall/Family/Thanksgiving.

I chose to do a scrapbook page using the Color Me Autumn designer series paper, For all things stamp set and Happiness Is Project Life accessory kit.

There are a couple of the Autumn wooden elements added for accent as well.

The title letters are from the Project Life kit and are self adhesive.

Hope you play along with us this month!  You can see the other design team samples here and add your own creation as well.

Simple Hello

Sometimes simple is great and I really like the way this simple card took shape.  The idea comes from a sample in our demonstrator magazine that came this month (so many great ideas in those!!).

I added a little baker's twine bow to the single layer card for a small accent.

For the hello image, I used my Blackberry Bliss marker and only inked part of the sentiment because I didn't want it to say hello fall, just hello.

Supplies:
For all things
Whisper White card stock
Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow ink
Baker's twine

September Stamp Club Projects

There is lots of variety in the projects this month ranging from Halloween to thanks to a layout that could be used for lots of occasions including the 4th of July.

I chose to use the Stars framelits for the layout and paired them with the Maritime designer series paper.

The first card uses the Color Me Autumn designer series paper and For all things stamp set.

And finally a Halloween card using the Mingle all the Way set and some Typeset specialty paper.

If these look like fun make sure you contact me about joining my monthly club or a Virtual Club!

For all things

More holiday catalog items in the card I am sharing today.  We have some watercolor type images in the For All Things stamp set and I just love playing with those.  One of the images is stamped behind the sentiment on this card with Pistachio Pudding ink.

The designer paper is part of a collection called Under the Tree specialty paper and it ties in with the Kraft theme the catalog has in the packaging department (wrapping paper, boxes, bags, etc.).

Supplies:
For all things
Pistachio Pudding, Early Espresso ink
Marina Mist, Whisper White card stock
Under the tree specialty paper
On point folder
