New Clothes

The Late Night Challenge for January is Snowflakes or Snowmen.  We haven't really had any snow here yet, which is unusual, so I didn't have any fun snow pictures to scrapbook yet, but I thought I would use some snowflakes in a My Digital Studio Layout instead!

I used the A to Z word press embellishments for the title and the Snow Burst brush stamp set for the background.  I just added a quick zig zag stitch and some journaling to complete it (super quick page!).

Hope you join us for the challenge this month!

Gift Box Punch Board Project

It is that time again for a new Late Night Stampers Challenge!

Do you love to stamp?  Do you sometimes hit a brick wall as to what to do with the blank card stock?  Then you came to the right place!

Each month we will present a new challenge.  We will share with you our interpretation of the challenge.  We invite you to play along with us.  Create a card, scrapbook page, 3D item, or anything else you can think of and post it here with a link to your online site.  If you are so inclined you can post more than 1 item - we love seeing your creations!

At the end of the month we will choose a winner to be announced on the first day of the next month.  The winner will receive a winners badge and be our guest designer for next upcoming month.  Grab your supplies and come play with us!

I chose the make a fun little box with the Gift Box Punch Board and then added a little lid to it.  It is big enough to fit a gift card or some other fun goodies inside.

I started with the Under the Tree specialty paper and added a few Tea Lace paper doilies and some embellishments.

On the top, I used the White Christmas stamp set on an Apothecary Accents cut out and added a few sequins.

I love playing with the punch boards!

Hope you play along with us and you can see our samples as well as other entries right here.

Spooky Screamy Halloween

We are trying something new at our Late Night Stampers Challenge Blog, the challenges will now run for a whole month instead of two weeks, giving you more time to participate with us!  This month's theme is Halloween/Fall projects (cards, scrapbook pages, goodie bags, wreaths, anything you choose to create with a Halloween/Fall theme and Stampin' Up! products).

I chose to make a little goodie bag with a couple pieces of the Simply Created Banner kit.  To make the pouch, I punched holes in the two banner pieces with my crop-o-dile and added White and Tangerine Tango Two-Tone trim to hold it together.

There are some Gorgeous Grunge images on the front banner piece that were stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink.

I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White card stock with Memento Black ink and then used my Blendabilities (Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie) to color over it.  The little bats are from the October Paper Pumpkin kit.

Supplies:
Mingle all the Way
Gorgeous Grunge
Pumpkin Pie, Memento Black ink
Blendabilities
Basic Black, Whisper White card stock
Sweet Taffy dsp
White and Tangerine Tango Two-Tone trim

White Distressed

At Late Night Stampers, the challenge is now distressing and I chose to use White craft ink on Basic Black card stock as my distressing.

First, I added some of the White craft ink to the Basic Black card stock and let it dry.  Then, I ran it through the Big Shot with the Lucky Stars folder and added a little more White craft ink to bring out the stars.

Next, I stamped the sentiment with Memento black ink and used some blendabilities markers to color over it and add color to some of the words.

Hope you play along with us and you can check out the rest of the design team samples here.

Supplies:
Mingle All the Way
Memento Black, White Craft ink

Circles!

Circles, circles and more circles!  This card has quite a few and it ties in with the Late Night Stampers challenge starting today.  Don't forget to check out all the design team samples and play along - the challenge runs for 2 weeks so you will have a little time :)

For my sample, I tied together a couple different stamp sets and lots of circle punches.  The Kinda Eclectic image is stamped in Mossy Meadow and the sentiment from Blue Ribbon in Marina Mist.

The 1/2" circles that I punched from the piece of Mossy Meadow on the front were attached to the inside of the card.

Supplies:
Kinda Eclectic, Blue Ribbon
Very Vanilla, Marina Mist, Mossy Meadow card stock
Mossy Meadow, Marina Mist ink
1/2", 1 1/4", 1 3/8", 1 3/4" and 2" circle punches

Moving the Deco Label

You have seen this post once, but I will share it again in the right timeframe for the challenge :)  (I had two challenges reversed and posted the wrong one first last time!)

The Late Night Stamper's Challenge right now is movement cards.  Chose to make a deco label move from the outside to the inside when it is opened.

On the front of the card base, I cut half a deco framelit and then used my bone folder to fold the cut half open.  Then I added the same size deco framelit over the top of the cut half (you would just put adhesive on one side right now).

On the inside there are some panels and I attached the other half of the full size deco label to the panel so it looks like this when you open it.

I chose the Flashback designer series paper to decorate the panels and the front and used the Bloom with Hope stamp set on the Deco label and the sentiment.

Supplies:
Bloom with Hope
Kraft card stock
Pool Party, Very vanilla card stock
Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz and Memento Black inks
Deco label framelits
Flashback dsp
Brights buttons
sticky strip

Be sure to check out the rest of the design team samples and play along with us!

A Little Kindness

I passed this stamp set over in the catalog the first few times I looked through it, but eventually saw enough samples other people had created with it, that I changed my mind about it.

For these two cards, I chose to use the 2014-2016 In colors and all the stamps in the set except the butterfly ones.

I played around a little bit with some white 1/4" cotton ribbon and silver buttons.  The one above has some ribbon that I tried to fringe the edges on.

Supplies:
Kinda Eclectic
Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow ink
Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Lost Lagoon and Mossy Meadow card stock
1/4" white cotton ribbon
silver buttons

Watercolor Thank You

The Late Night Stampers challenge that starts today is Clean and Simple with Bling.  I chose to use the Watercolor Thank You stamp and add a couple strips of designer series paper.

The designer series paper comes from the Moonlight and Confetti Celebration collections and I added a little bow made from Strawberry Slush thick baker's twine.

And of course, the bling is basic rhinestones.

Your Awesomeness!

I have to say I REALLY like the stamp sets with the big sentiments in the new catalog!  The set I used on this card is called Big News and there are several other ones that are similar in size.

This card ties in with our Late Night Stampers challenge of butterflies that is going on right now.  I chose to use some washi tape on Whisper White card stock and then punched out the bitty butterfly and layered it onto an elegant butterfly.

The designer paper is from the Gold Soiree collection - one of the new specialty paper collections.  Another new item is the embossing folder, called Large Polka Dot (another new favorite!!).

Supplies:
Big News
Gold Metallic ink
Garden Green, Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White card stock
Gold Soiree specialty paper
Watercolor wonder washi tape
Bitty butterfly punch
Elegant butterfly punch
Corner punch
linen thread
Large Polka Dot folder

Mr. and Mrs.

At Late Night Stampers, we are now using the theme Celebrations (Father's Day, Wedding, Graduation, etc.) so I thought I would go with a wedding card this time around.

I started with a piece of Gold Foil Sheet and embossed it with the Modern Mosaic folder.  Then, I punched out a few little banners in Fancy Foil Gold Vellum and Champagne Glimmer paper.  With the Glimmer paper banners, I adhered them to some Basic Black card stock and cut them out so that a little of the black showed around the edges.  These are stapled onto the Gold Foil and then I added some basic rhinestones to the mix...

The Mr. and Mrs. is stamped with Metallic gold ink and I added a little Watercolor Wonder washi tape and gold sequin trim to complete the card.

Hope you play along with us!

Supplies:
Label Love
Metallic Gold ink
Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold Foil, Champagne Glimmer and Fancy Foil Vellum card stock and papers
Watercolor Wonder washi tape
Artisan label punch
gold sequin trim
basic rhinestones
Banner punch

Raindrops

The current Late Night Stampers challenge involves using crystal effects in some way on your card or project.  I decided to make some little raindrops on and around my flowers using the crystal effects and also chose some designer series paper that looks like raindrops to go behind it.

You can see a little better on the picture below how the raindrops turned out.

The designer series paper is from the Moonlight stack in the upcoming catalog and the stamp set is again Bloom with Hope.

I added some Blackberry Bliss 3/8" stitched satin ribbon and some naturals designer buttons to finish off the card.

Supplies:
Bloom with Hope
Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, Wild Wasabi, Wisteria Wonder ink
Whisper White, Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon card stock
Moonlight dsp stack
decorative label punch
crystal effects
naturals designer buttons
Blackberry Bliss 3/8" stitched satin ribbon

Picture Inspiration

The latest Late Night Stampers challenge is a picture inspiration challenge using the picture below.

I chose to make a card working with some colors in the picture as well as flowers using the Happy Watercolor stamp set.

I added a couple little embellishments from the Project Life Everyday Adventure Accessory pack.

Instead of coloring in the stems and blossoms, I used some sponges to add color a little messily (is that a word? LOL!).

Hope you come along and join us!

Beautiful Song

The Late Night Stampers challenge right now is Mother's Day projects and I found this fun wooden cutting board one day that I decided to decorate.  The saying "Family is like music, some high notes, some low notes, but always a beautiful song" was something I found on Pinterest.

The Naturals Composition specialty paper went well with the saying so I layered that on some Soft Sky and rounded the corners.

Then, I used some delicate details lace tape, 5/8" chevron naturals ribbon and Pistachio Pudding ruffle stretch trim as accents.

A little flower from the Everything Eleanor stamp set in Strawberry Slush ink, a few more details (including a Strawberry Slush spiral flower) and you have a fun transformation!

Supplies:
Everything Eleanor
Strawberry Slush ink
Soft Sky, Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding card stock
Naturals composition specialty paper
delicate details lace tape
Pistachio Pudding ruffle stretch trim
5/8" Chevron natural ribbon
basic rhinestones
In color boutique details
corner rounder
