Foil Notes

When I put together a few of these cards, my goal was to use some of the Eastern Gold vinyl stickers that were out on my stamp table.  I added some images from the Eastern Beauty stamp set in the background of the card base and on the other layers as well.

There is a piece of Delightful Daisy designer series paper behind the Peekaboo Peach layer with the vinyl stickers and I added some punched elements using the Starburst and 2" circle punch as well.

Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White card stock
Delightful Daisy dsp

Congrats

On this card, I have used a mix of 2014-2016 and 2016-2018 In Colors along with the Swirly Bird and Thoughtful Banners stamp sets.

My colors are Watermelon Wonder and Peekaboo Peach, both the card stock and ink were used to complete this one.  The Swirly Scribbles thinlits cut out the swirls and little flowers and the Duet banner punch made my congrats banner for me.

Long Altered Notepad

Quite awhile ago I went into an office supply store and purchased a package of note pads and then had them cut the pads into 3 pieces the long way... Well needless to say you end up with quite a few notepads and I have lots left to use up!

I put this one together quickly by cutting a piece of the white card board that comes with the designer series paper packages  and adding some Neutrals color collection designer series paper to it with a glue stick.

Then, I attached the note pad to that with some tear and tape adhesive and added some decorations using the All God's Grace stamp set, itty bitty punches and basic rhinestones.

Supplies:
All God's Grace
Basic Gray ink
Whisper White, Soft Sky and Calypso Coral card stock
decorative label punch

My sentiment layer is die cut from the tags and labels framelits and stamped with an image from Cheers for Love.

Wooden Trees

I was playing around with some wooden trees this past week decorating them with paint, stamps, paper, ribbon, embellishments, etc.  They are all a little different and decorated on both sides.

I put them together in sets of threes for my craft show on Thursday and this one was the most popular, but they went over well.

I used mod podge to adhere the designer and specialty papers to the wood and then added the embellishments with several different adhesives.

The ones that were stamped have Metallic ink, craft ink, Memento ink and regular ink on them, and they all seemed to work well.

The fine tip glue pen worked great for the little embellishments that didn't have adhesive on them already.

This is the back side of the set of trees above...

and a few different ones...

If I made these again, I might not paint them all, especially if I am stamping colors on them because the red ink doesn't really stand out too much on the flowers.

The lace trim around the outside of some of the trees was attached with small nails...

And a few more samples...

close up...

it is hard to see too easily, but there are basic pearls on some of the snowflakes below...

Supplies:
Reason for the Season, Holly Jolly Greetings
Metallic silver, Metallic gold, Craft White, Memento Black, Sahara Sand and Real Red ink
designer buttons

basic rhinestones

Beautiful Birthday

I have to admit I don't like how the lighting on the pictures of this card turned out, but by the time I uploaded them to my computer, the card was already given away so I couldn't retake the pictures.

I added a piece of Neutrals color collection designer series paper to a Whisper White card base and then added a strip of Blackberry Bliss and some Smoky Slate chevron ribbon.

Then, I took a die cut Deco label framelit and added my sentiment and some flowers.  The sentiment is popped up with dimensionals and has some linen thread behind it.

Supplies:

Remember...

I have had this little wooden open box for awhile and was just not sure what I wanted to do with it.  One day I decided to cover it with some patterns from the Birthday Bash designer washi sheets and then added a few other decorations.

I stamped the sentiment from Hello Life on a Let's Get Away Project Life Card Collection piece using Bermuda Bay ink.

Then, I added a leftover party pennant (leftover from the baptism decorations I made awhile back) that was also embossed with the Large Polka Dots folder and added some basic rhinestones to each raised piece.

A few other embellishments and I had a cute little table decoration!

I chose to use some Flowerpot designer series paper as my background and added some basic rhinestones to each of the polka dots.  Then, I used some Crushed Curry chevron ribbon and Watercolor wonder washi tape for a couple more accents.

This cards is fairly plain despite the rhinestone bling around the starbursts on the edges.  It is stamped with the hostess set called Hello there and I used the Starburst framelits to cut out the sentiment as well as the other 3 starbursts.

The background designer series paper is again from Maritime and I chose Night of Navy for my ink and card stock colors.

The designer series paper comes from the Moonlight and Confetti Celebration collections and I added a little bow made from Strawberry Slush thick baker's twine.
