Birthday Pillow Box

In the Holiday catalog there are several new thinlits that are all lots of fun, but I chose to share the Square Pillow Box thinlit with you today.  I picked the Pretty Petals designer series paper to make the pillow box and added some Calypso Coral and Very Vanilla card stock layers for decorating.

The thinlit cuts the pieces out (you have to cut two of them to make the box) and also scores for you.

To decorate I used the Something to Say stamp set and some Calypso Coral  thick baker's twine, Venetian crochet trim ribbon and metal rimmed pearls.

Supplies:
Something to Say
Old Olive ink
Calypso Coral, Very Vanilla card stock
Pretty Petals dsp
metal rimmed pearls
Venetian crochet trim ribbon
thick bakers twine
Tear and Tape adhesive
linen thread

Watercolor Thank You

The Late Night Stampers challenge that starts today is Clean and Simple with Bling.  I chose to use the Watercolor Thank You stamp and add a couple strips of designer series paper.

The designer series paper comes from the Moonlight and Confetti Celebration collections and I added a little bow made from Strawberry Slush thick baker's twine.

And of course, the bling is basic rhinestones.

Come and join us or just check out the design team samples

This card has a randomly stamped background and a few stars punched using the Itty  Bitty Accents punch pack.

Your Goodness

Earlier this week, I shared a baby card that used the sentiment stamp set called Something to Say and today I have another card that uses the same sentiment set for a whole other purpose.

I have also used the Blended Bloom stamp set again, this time stamping on the card base of Hello Honey and also on the top layer in the same ink.

Don't you just love the thick baker's twine?  I know I will be using quite a bit of that on my projects!
