April Stamp Club Projects

Here are the April Stamp Club projects for my monthly club...we were unable to meet due to physical distancing guidelines so I put together all the projects for them.

Our first card focuses on the Parisian Blossoms specialty paper and uses the So Sentimental Stamp set...

The second card uses the Pretty Petals designer series paper and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies along with the Beautiful Friendship stamp set...

And finally, our layout focuses on the Woven Threads designer series paper and uses some Stitched Shapes framelits die cuts for accents.

We welcome new members anytime!  Contact me for more details.

Best Wishes

Recently I put together a half a dozen or so of these Best Wishes cards using some scraps I had leftover from Stamp A stack cards I had taken out of my rotation.  For the stamp set, I chose Petal Palette and added some coordinating Pretty Petals designer series paper as well.

The Bermuda Bay background is embossed with the Oh My Stars embossing folder and I added some of my favorite glitter enamel dots for accents.

Supplies:
Petal Palette
Crumb Cake, Basic Black ink
Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay card stock
Oh My Stars folder
Pretty Petals dsp
White doily
Glitter enamel dots

Don't forget to get your favorites before they are gone!  See the Last Chance products right here!

Welcome Home

This is another card I made using some layers, it makes them difficult to take pictures of but I love the way they turn out.

I chose the Welcome Words stamp set and some Pretty Petals dsp and used Very Vanilla and Pool Party card stock along with it.

The designer series paper I used as the outer layer measures 5 1/2" x 6" and is scored at 4 1/4".  The inside layer of Very Vanilla is 8" x 5" and scored at 4".  The top layer of Pool Party is 4 1/2" x 2 1/2".

Supplies:
Welcome Words
Basic Black ink
Pool Party, Very Vanilla card stock

Celebrate

This is a card I recently gave a friend, it combines the Pretty Petals and Sweet Li'l Things designer series paper and the Balloon celebration stamp set.

I first stamped the balloons and strings on my Very Vanilla card stock and then on scraps of the same color stamped the balloons again using the three step images.  After that, I punched them out with the Balloon bouquet punch and added them to the card with dimensionals.

I added the Expressions natural element ("celebrate") with the glue pen.

Supplies:
Balloon celebration
Pool Party, Soft Sky, Perfect Plum, Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, Wild Wasabi, Basic Black ink
Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla card stock
Pretty Petals dsp

Pretty Petals Sympathy Card

I am again using the Pretty Petals designer series paper today, I really like the smaller sized paper stacks for making cards so I pick them up quite often.

The stamp set I used is from the August Paper Pumpkin kit and since they are photopolymer, it was very easy to line up the design on the bottom (the pattern was stamped three times).

Pacific Point ink
Very Vanilla, Old Olive card stock

#HappyBirthday

Well, we finished digging the potatoes on Tuesday - yeah!  Then, Wednesday we started harvesting soybeans so there was no break between them this year, although it rained Wednesday night so I have a few days to play catch up.  I might just be able to keep the posts going all the way through harvest after all - we will see!

Another fairly quick card to share with you again today using the Balloon Bash and Layered Letters Alphabet stamp sets.  The hash tag in the background is from the Layered Letters Alphabet set and I stamped that with Tip Top Taupe ink.

I added a little piece of Pretty Petals designer series paper and a metal rimmed pearl to finish off the card.

Supplies:
Layered Letters Alphabet, Balloon Bash
Tip Top Taupe, Bermuda Bay ink
Very Vanilla, Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral card stock
Pretty Petals dsp

Supplies:
Big News, Tin of Cards

Very Vanilla card stock
Pretty Petals dsp

Birthday Pillow Box

In the Holiday catalog there are several new thinlits that are all lots of fun, but I chose to share the Square Pillow Box thinlit with you today.  I picked the Pretty Petals designer series paper to make the pillow box and added some Calypso Coral and Very Vanilla card stock layers for decorating.

The thinlit cuts the pieces out (you have to cut two of them to make the box) and also scores for you.

To decorate I used the Something to Say stamp set and some Calypso Coral  thick baker's twine, Venetian crochet trim ribbon and metal rimmed pearls.

Supplies:
Something to Say
Old Olive ink
Calypso Coral, Very Vanilla card stock
Pretty Petals dsp
metal rimmed pearls
Venetian crochet trim ribbon
thick bakers twine
Tear and Tape adhesive
linen thread

Pretty Petals Birthday

The stamp set I used on the card I have to share with you today is one that my daughter picked out from the catalog.  Some days I think her wish list is longer than mine!

I used some Pretty Petals designer series paper along with the Birthday Blossoms stamp set and Pansy Punch.  The designs on the Pretty Petals designer series paper are so pretty, I really need to find more uses for it!

I added some venetian crochet trim and a metal rimmed pearls to complete the card.

Supplies:
Birthday Blossoms
Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Old Olive ink
Very Vanilla, Old Olive card stock
