When my daughter and I were looking through the new catalog the first time, the stamp set called Enjoy Life caught her eye because of the sentiment that says "Wake up. Kick butt. Repeat."  She decided that it was one we should get and share!

Supplies:

Live with Passion

Cards, cards and more cards...that is about all I have been sharing with you recently and I realize this!  Pretty soon I will share some 3d projects and different things I promise :)  Right now I am actually on vacation and thought rather than not post anything for a week or so I would go through the card stash!

Again, I have used a Project Life card on this project - the image is stamped on a card that has some blue water coloring on the bottom so I thought it was perfect for this image.

A lace doily and some linen thread, a few swipes with some markers and the card is completed...

Supplies:
Beautiful You
Basic Black, Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky ink and markers
Very Vanilla, Mint Macaron card stock
lace doily
linen thread

You Fill Me

On Friday I shared a card using the Jar of Love stamp set and Everyday jars framelits.  Today I have another sample using the same products but instead of using glassine paper for my jar, I used a piece of Serene Scenery designer series paper that looks like water.

I added other patterns of the same designer series paper behind the jar and also stamped a strip of burlap to go over the middle of the jar behind the sentiment.

Supplies:
Jar of Love
Crumb Cake, Whisper White card stock
Crumb Cake ink
linen thread
Serene Scenery designer series paper

Brick Thanks

I realized it has been awhile since I pulled out the Brick Wall folder so I thought I would put some cards together using that and a white on white combination.

After I ran the Whisper White through the Big Shot, I colored it with the Wink of Stella glitter brush for a little something different.

Then I just added some linen thread a little banner and my sentiment which is an Expressions Natural Element.  No stamping on this one!

More Sky is the Limit

Another masculine birthday card share today using the Sky is the Limit (SAB 2016) stamp set.  It pairs perfectly with the Shine On specialty paper since one of the patterns has silver clouds.

I made two versions of the card and the only differences are that I stamped clouds on the background of one of them and not the other and changed the direction of the linen thread.

Supplies:
Sky is the Limit (SAB 2016)
Basic Black, Lost Lagoon ink
Whisper White, Lost Lagoon card stock
Shine On specialty paper

Gratitude Sign

It is always fun for me to figure out a different ways to use the Project Life card collections.  I love them for fun scrapbook pages, either traditional or using the Project Life pocket pages, cards and today for some wall décor!

This was another find at a craft store that I decided to alter.  The twine that is used for hanging the piece was actually attached so it would hang the opposite way, but I just cut it off and stapled it to a different side on the back so that it could hang the long way.

I added a piece of Into the Woods designer series paper behind the Project Life cards and threw in part of a Tea Lace paper doily and some linen thread and bakers twine.

The wooden accents are also in the Seasonal Snapshot Project Life 20015 kit (Accessory pack) and I added them to the project with dimensionals.

A Fish Story

Wyatt always seems to be the one to catch the Big fish each summer in our family.  This year was no exception and the scrapbook page below is our documentation of it for him.

I chose a piece of Farmers Market designer series paper for the background and added a layer of Crumb Cake card stock over the top that was randomly stamped with the By the Tide stamp set.

The title is created with the Layered Letters Alphabet stamp set and I added some little pieces of Corrugated paper with buttons on the side of the page.  The squares were the cutouts left when I used the Hearth and Home thinlits on a card.

I used my circle punches to cut out a picture of the lake water and rocks to add to the layout as well.

Supplies:
Tin of Cards, By the Tide, Layered Letters Alphabet
Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz ink
Crumb Cake, Lost Lagoon, Soft Suede card stock

Give Thanks

A very long time ago, I picked up a couple of small wreath shaped pieces someplace or other that I intended to decorate and while I was looking for some ideas in my stash of alterable items, I pulled one of them out.

The wreath is about 6" in diameter so it is pretty small.  I wrapped some 5/8" striped cotton ribbon around it very tightly and attached it at the beginning and the end with Tear and Tape adhesive.

Next, I picked up some leftover Paper Pumpkin items from the June kit and some sequins leftover from my Watercolor Wishes card kit (which I haven't shared with you yet!!).  The little wooden banner pieces are attached to the Venetian crochet trim ribbon with tear and tape adhesive and I put some on the backside to help stabilize it as well.  On the back side I left the paper on it so that only one side is sticky (hope that makes sense!).

I chose the sentiment from the Banner Blessings set and matted it onto a piece of Farmer's Market designer series paper.

Finally I added a way to hang it on the wall using some Venetian crochet trim ribbon and linen thread.

Supplies:
Banner Blessings
Blackberry Bliss ink
Very Vanilla card stock

Venetian crochet trim ribbon
linen thread
Watercolor Wishes card kit

Decorative Jar

This little jar called to me one day when I was walking through a craft store :)  I decided to decorate it using the Butterfly Basics, Summer Silhouettes and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets and some white Corrugated paper.

The jar had rectangular framelike spots on each of four sides that I added panels to and behind those is a layer of white jute ribbon.

Each panel is decorated differently but has a piece of white corrugated paper behind it.

There are two panels that are Lost Lagoon in color and two that are Tip Top Taupe...

I used the butterfly punches a few time as accents and some of the thick baker's twine from Sale-a-bration...

This one has some 1" dotted lace trim that was cut down to narrower pieces...

I put some ribbon inside for picture taking purposes, but would probably fill it with candy or cookies or button or something fun for a door prize or gift...

On the top I cut out more white corrugated paper and a Tip Top Taupe piece that were cut from the circles framelits and added some stamps and accents.

Underneath the top circle, I wrapped some 1" dotted lace ribbon and thick baker's twine around the corrugated paper and tied it with some linen thread...

Supplies:
Butterfly Basics, Gorgeous Grunge, Summer Silhouettes
Lost Lagoon, Tip Top Taupe card stock
White corrugated paper
Tip Top Taupe, Lost Lagoon ink
linen thread
butterfly punches
white jute ribbon
1" dotted lace trim
baker's twine
designer buttons

Cherry on Top Thanks

I just love mixing up patterns in designer series paper whether they are in the same package or not!  This time they are packaged together in the Cherry on Top dsp stack and I have used different sizes along with the Banner triple punch.

My sentiment is from the Cheers to love stamp set and I played around with some more linen thread and a button.

Your Awesomeness!

I have to say I REALLY like the stamp sets with the big sentiments in the new catalog!  The set I used on this card is called Big News and there are several other ones that are similar in size.

This card ties in with our Late Night Stampers challenge of butterflies that is going on right now.  I chose to use some washi tape on Whisper White card stock and then punched out the bitty butterfly and layered it onto an elegant butterfly.

The designer paper is from the Gold Soiree collection - one of the new specialty paper collections.  Another new item is the embossing folder, called Large Polka Dot (another new favorite!!).

Supplies:
Big News
Gold Metallic ink
Garden Green, Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White card stock
Gold Soiree specialty paper
Watercolor wonder washi tape
Bitty butterfly punch
Elegant butterfly punch
Corner punch
linen thread
Large Polka Dot folder

Hope you play along with us - you can see the other design team samples or play along right here
