Here for You

Happy Thanksgiving!

The card I am sharing today doesn't have anything to do with Thanksgiving, but here it is anyway....

I started with a sponge brayer and Peekaboo Peach ink on some Whisper White card stock.  Then I added my images and colored in some of the flower.  Next, I added some glitter with the Wink of Stella clear glitter brush on the petals.

A little corrugated paper, linen thread and Serene Scenery designer series paper and the card was compete.

Supplies:
You've Got This
Basic Black, Peekaboo Peach, Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party ink
Crumb Cake, Whisper White card stock
Serene Scenery dsp
Corrugated paper
linen thread

The sentiment comes from Suite Sayings and I punched it out with the Note Tag punch.

Vellum Background

This scrapbook page is another example of using the Holiday Fancy foil designer vellum over card stock to make it not really look like you can see through it.  This would work with any of the fancy foil vellums, I just made sure to put the adhesive where it would be covered up by another element and would not show through.

I also used some various Project Life pieces and some corrugated paper .

I love those wooden elements!

Supplies:
Project Life Stampin' Up!
Whisper White, Real Red, card stock
Project Life journaling pen

Junior Varsity

This time of year (and about until the middle of July) if I am not shipping potatoes or cutting potato seed I might be found watching one of my boys play baseball.

Hunter is in his second year of baseball at school and will play again this summer.  Wyatt will be playing this summer too, although they will be playing in different towns this year which could get interesting before it is all over.

I like to get the team pictures and use them in Hunter's scrapbook even though I usually get some action shots and put them on another page. This time I used some Holiday fancy foil designer vellum paper over the top of Whisper White as part of my background.

My letters were cut with the Big Shot using the white corrugated paper.

Supplies:
Simply Sports
Basic Black ink
Night of Navy, Whisper White and Basic Black card stock
Holiday fancy foil designer vellum
corrugated paper
enamel dots
circle punches

Celebrate You Box

I was playing around with my Gift Box Punch Board the other day and decided to use some of the Shine on specialty paper to make a little box.

I chose to start with a 12" x 12" piece of card stock and followed the directions on the punch board for that size...

Then I folded down the top pieces and attached them on the outside of the box before adding some buttons and wrapping Corrugated paper around it.

I took another piece of Shine on specialty paper and cut it down to 4" x 9" and scored it at 1" and 5" and added it to the inside of the box and used it as a lid.

You can see I attached the flaps to the inside walls of the box before I added the "lid".

Supplies:
Suite Sayings
Cucumber Crush ink
Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry card stock
Tea lace paper doily
designer buttons
Gift box punch board
1 3/4" and 2" circle punches
Corrugated paper

You are...

As promised I have another sample using the A Nice Cuppa stamp set and again it is paired with the Cups and Kettles framelits.  This time, I used part of a Project Life card for one of my layers.  It comes from the Memories in the Making collection.

I added some lemons to the card after I cut it down to 3 3/4" x 5" and then added it to some Watermelon Wonder card stock.

A little bit of Corrugated paper and another half of the Tea lace paper doily completed the card.

Supplies:
A Nice Cuppa
Daffodil Delight, Watermelon Wonder, Soft Suede ink
Whisper White, Watermelon Wonder card stock
1" circle punch
linen thread
corrugated paper

Love You Sew

There is one hostess exclusive stamp set in the back of the Occasions catalog and it is definitely made for crafters.  I have two quite simple cards to share with you that I made from it.

The first uses a strip of Love Blossoms designer series paper  as an accent as well as a designer series button.  I cut out the thread and added it to next to the sentiment with a Stampin' dimensional.

The second uses a piece cut with the Tags and Labels framelits for the sentiment, some corrugated paper and an antique brad - I thought I should use a hole punch when I was talking about one!

Supplies:
Love you Sew
Cherry Cobbler, Basic Gray, Rose Red, Crumb Cake ink
Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White card stock
Corrugated paper
Love Blossoms dsp
Tags and Labels framelits
antique brads

Life Is Good

I have found too many wooden pieces that I want to alter this fall!  This is a small pallet type piece that I distressed with ink and stamped on before adding my other elements.

I embossed a piece of glassine paper with the Woodland folder and then sewed it onto a piece of corrugated paper...

then, I sewed some designer series paper onto a piece of card stock...

added some linen thread leftover from the September Paper Pumpkin kit, pictures, buttons and a few other elements...

and came up with a Christmas gift!

Fun Stamp Case Gift

I always have some stamp cases laying around in various sizes so that if I want to put together a little gift with them I have them ready to go.  The one I used on this project is the half size and I added some designer series paper from the Season of Cheer collection behind the plastic covering.

Than, I stamped my sentiment and punched it out with the Note Tag punch and layered it on some more designer series paper that I punched with the Ornate tag punch.

A little linen thread, some white perfect accents and corrugated paper and the front of the case is ready to go...

On the inside, I added some cute little arrow post it notes that came in a Project Life kit awhile ago that I had not used, a regular size post it note pad and some lip gloss and hand sanitizer.

The lip gloss and hand sanitizer are attached with little Velcro pieces so that once you take them off, you can put them back in place again and they will stay there.

Supplies:
Friendly Wishes
Night of Navy ink
Soft Sky card stock
Season of Cheer dsp
Note Tag, Ornate Tag punch
linen thread
perfect white accents
corrugated paper
washi tape
Velcro
half stamp case
post it notes

During the stamp sale that Stampin' Up! recently ran, I purchased the One Big Meaning stamp set (page 16 of the big catalog).  It is one I am sure will be put to lots of use in the future and I chose to use it on this card as well.

I started with a Basic Black background and added white corrugated paper and circles punched from the Go Wild designer series paper along with my sentiment.  Then I added a few White perfect accents to complete it.
