Celebrate You Box

I was playing around with my Gift Box Punch Board the other day and decided to use some of the Shine on specialty paper to make a little box.

I chose to start with a 12" x 12" piece of card stock and followed the directions on the punch board for that size...

Then I folded down the top pieces and attached them on the outside of the box before adding some buttons and wrapping Corrugated paper around it.

I took another piece of Shine on specialty paper and cut it down to 4" x 9" and scored it at 1" and 5" and added it to the inside of the box and used it as a lid.

You can see I attached the flaps to the inside walls of the box before I added the "lid".

Supplies:
Suite Sayings
Cucumber Crush ink
Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry card stock
Tea lace paper doily
designer buttons

Gift Box Punch Board Project

It is that time again for a new Late Night Stampers Challenge!

Do you love to stamp?  Do you sometimes hit a brick wall as to what to do with the blank card stock?  Then you came to the right place!

Each month we will present a new challenge.  We will share with you our interpretation of the challenge.  We invite you to play along with us.  Create a card, scrapbook page, 3D item, or anything else you can think of and post it here with a link to your online site.  If you are so inclined you can post more than 1 item - we love seeing your creations!

At the end of the month we will choose a winner to be announced on the first day of the next month.  The winner will receive a winners badge and be our guest designer for next upcoming month.  Grab your supplies and come play with us!

I chose the make a fun little box with the Gift Box Punch Board and then added a little lid to it.  It is big enough to fit a gift card or some other fun goodies inside.

I started with the Under the Tree specialty paper and added a few Tea Lace paper doilies and some embellishments.

On the top, I used the White Christmas stamp set on an Apothecary Accents cut out and added a few sequins.

I love playing with the punch boards!

Hope you play along with us and you can see our samples as well as other entries right here.

Gift Box Punch Board

One of the really fun things in the upcoming Holiday catalog is the Gift Box Punch Board.  It will make boxes up to 4" and has a sizing chart right on the board to let you know what size to cut your paper for the size of box you want to make.

I made this one with the Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series paper and added some silver satin ribbon and a tag punched with the Note Tag Punch.

The image comes from the Merry Everything stamp set.  I did not add any adhesive to this box when I put it together, which is also a pretty nice option!
