Gift Box Punch Board Project

It is that time again for a new Late Night Stampers Challenge!

Do you love to stamp?  Do you sometimes hit a brick wall as to what to do with the blank card stock?  Then you came to the right place!

Each month we will present a new challenge.  We will share with you our interpretation of the challenge.  We invite you to play along with us.  Create a card, scrapbook page, 3D item, or anything else you can think of and post it here with a link to your online site.  If you are so inclined you can post more than 1 item - we love seeing your creations!

At the end of the month we will choose a winner to be announced on the first day of the next month.  The winner will receive a winners badge and be our guest designer for next upcoming month.  Grab your supplies and come play with us!

I chose the make a fun little box with the Gift Box Punch Board and then added a little lid to it.  It is big enough to fit a gift card or some other fun goodies inside.

I started with the Under the Tree specialty paper and added a few Tea Lace paper doilies and some embellishments.

On the top, I used the White Christmas stamp set on an Apothecary Accents cut out and added a few sequins.

I love playing with the punch boards!

Hope you play along with us and you can see our samples as well as other entries right here.

Note Pad Holder

Today's project is a note pad holder made with the Under the Tree specialty paper.  The note pad measures 7" x 3 3/4" so I cut a piece of specialty paper that was 9 3/4" x 7 1/4".

I scored the specialty paper on the long side at 2" and 2 1/2" inches and then flipped it and scored at 3" and 3 1/2" to create a lopsided cover.  The note pad was added to the inside with sticky strip and I added a little piece of velcro to the square panel on the front to keep it closed.

It is decorated with the Letterpress stamp set and a Nordic designer button.

Supplies:
Letterpress Winter
Coastal Cabana ink
Whisper White, Real Red card stock
Under the Tree specialty paper
Nordic designer button
sticky strip
Simply Scored Tool
Velcro

You Know Too Much!

While I had this stamp set out to use on my altered notebooks (see last Thursday's post), I stamped a few more to use on cards.  There is some Under the Tree specialty paper behind the square layers and I used the Squares framelits and the On Film framelits as layers.

Supplies:

For all things

More holiday catalog items in the card I am sharing today.  We have some watercolor type images in the For All Things stamp set and I just love playing with those.  One of the images is stamped behind the sentiment on this card with Pistachio Pudding ink.

The designer paper is part of a collection called Under the Tree specialty paper and it ties in with the Kraft theme the catalog has in the packaging department (wrapping paper, boxes, bags, etc.).

Supplies:
For all things
Pistachio Pudding, Early Espresso ink
Marina Mist, Whisper White card stock

On point folder
Apothecary accents framelits

Gift Box Punch Board

One of the really fun things in the upcoming Holiday catalog is the Gift Box Punch Board.  It will make boxes up to 4" and has a sizing chart right on the board to let you know what size to cut your paper for the size of box you want to make.

I made this one with the Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series paper and added some silver satin ribbon and a tag punched with the Note Tag Punch.

The image comes from the Merry Everything stamp set.  I did not add any adhesive to this box when I put it together, which is also a pretty nice option!
