This is the last first day of school page to share with you!  I again used some Project Life Stampin' Up! pieces for the wording and have chosen Flowerpot designer series paper.

 

The bottom left pictures was cut out with the Apothecary Accents framelit.

O Holy Night

 

I have worked with a couple of church youth groups making cards for shut ins, etc. in the last couple weeks and I have used this stamp set each time (although neither group made this one).  It is from last year, but I really like the image and wanted to incorporate it this year again.

 

The designer series papers I chose to pair are All is Calm and Flowerpot...using Lost Lagoon and Pear Pizzazz card stock and inks along with them.

Howdy

 

Our county fair is just wrapping up and although my kids are not involved other than as spectators and maybe pedal tractor pull contestants, I thought this card was somewhat fitting.  I used the Yee Haw photopolymer stamp set and added some Flowerpot designer series paper to the mix.

 

A little bit of linen thread is wrapped around each edge and fastened in the back.

Today is World Card Making Day - what are your fun plans for the day?  Mine?  Well, unless it has rained or is raining, I will be in my combine harvesting soybeans, but if I am unable to do that I most definitely will make a few cards, it has been a long time since I had the chance!

 

This month's projects showcase the Flowerpot designer series paper, Flower Patch photopolymer stamp set and the Letterpress Winter stamp set (also photopolymer).

 

The layout as always is made to be very versatile and the cards are just a mix of what I thought would be fun and also get us thinking about Christmas cards.

Dots and more dots...I used a sponge dauber and some Baked Brown Sugar ink on the background and added some Flowerpot designer series paper to it before adding the flower, punched circle and sentiment to this card.

 

The circle is punched from the Under the Tree specialty designer series paper in the Holiday catalog.

After making the page I shared with you yesterday I created a card using the Word Bubbles framelits too (and the same designer series paper as well) although they look nothing at all alike!

 

I thought some itty bitty accents punches with basic rhinestones in the middle were nice accents with the designer paper pattern.

Target Practice

It wasn't long after our son, Hunter, finished his Hunter Safety course that he wanted to get in some target practice with his dad.  Our dog seemed to want to stick beside him when he was shooting and also when our other son, Wyatt, was taking a turn and I got some fun pictures of the process without them knowing.

 

 

I used the Calling All Heros stamp set for the title and the corner images.  After stamping, I used the white chalk maker to make some dotted lines on the inside of the images and then colored the whole corner with Daffodil Delight blendabilities markers. 

 

I added a little Word Bubble die cut to the corner of one of the photos as well.

Ray of Sunshine

 

I just love the sayings in the Ray of Sunshine stamp set!  This piece of designer series paper from the Flowerpot collection seemed to go well with the saying I used on this card too with the yellow polka dots.

 

There is a little bit of Sweet Sadie and Watercolor wonder washi tape on the side and that awesome Large Polka Dot embossing folder as well.
