Hello Baby!

During the card making session I mentioned yesterday, I also made sure to get some baby cards made and below are a couple put together with some scraps of designer series paper and the Little Sunshine stamp set.

The "hello, baby" pieces are die cut with the Word Bubbles framelits and I added a little washi tape to each of the congratulations sentiments.

I always love to add baker's twine or something similar to a card so I threw a little of that on each one as well.

Supplies:
Little Sunshine
Soft Suede ink
Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Early Espresso card stock
Word Bubbles framelits
baker's twine
washi tape
Decorative dots folder
Arrows folder
designer series paper

Gee, Thanks

After making the page I shared with you yesterday I created a card using the Word Bubbles framelits too (and the same designer series paper as well) although they look nothing at all alike!

I thought some itty bitty accents punches with basic rhinestones in the middle were nice accents with the designer paper pattern.

Supplies:
Just Sayin'
Memento black ink
Whisper White, Lost Lagoon card stock
Flowerpot dsp
1/4" Blushing Bride cotton ribbon
basic rhinestones
itty bitty accents punches

Happy Easter!

Today is a fun day to celebrate with family, I hope that you are able to spend time with family on this Easter Sunday as well.

I have a couple things to share today, the first is an Easter card that has a lot of fun texture and the cloud is a framelit in the word bubbles framelits set.

The grass is die cut from the tasteful trim die and the eggs are oval framelits.

Next, I was playing with some of the eggs I had boiled for the kids to dye.  The one on the left has 3 colors of reinkers - Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake and Strawberry Slush.  I used a kleenex to apply the ink and also wipe off the excess.  The glimmer paper came from a past Paper Pumpkin kit.

The one on the right has some itty bitty punch shapes that I added with glue dots and there is some Retro Fresh washi tape around the middle.  The stands are made with a 1" strip of Gold card stock and I taped the back with washi tape.

Happy Easter!
Christ the Lord is Risen Today!  Alleluia!

March Stamp Club projects

I am tying in my March Stamp Club projects with the Late Night Stampers Challenge that starts today (well, the scrapbook pages anyway).  The challenge is to use something in your project that has to do with wind.

I chose to use some hot air balloons on the layout which is a hybrid creation using My Digital Studio's Today Starts Here pages and April Showers digital designer series paper.

I added some clouds made with the Word Bubbles framelits and embossed them with the Decorative dots folder.

The arrow is from the stamp set Peachy Keen and is stamped in Coastal Cabana...

And then on to the non-wind related projects :)  The first card is super simple using the People Like You stamp.

It is stamped with Marina Mist on Smoky Slate and then the saying is stamped again on Basic Gray and punched out with the Decorative Label punch.

Finally, this card uses the Banner framelits, Lots of Thanks and Morning Meadow.  Also, a pretty quick and easy card, but I thought the colors and textures were fun together.

Hope you come and play along with us and I can't wait to see your version of "wind"!

Just Sayin'

When I cut pieces for clubs or other classes I usually end up with lots of scraps so once in awhile I make it a point to sit down and use a bunch of them on projects.  Today's cards along with the two you will see tomorrow came out of a scrap session last week...

Fairly simple cards with some color combinations that I really like together.

Supplies:
Just Sayin'
Baked Brown Sugar ink
Crumb Cake, Whisper White card stock
Fresh Prints dsp
5/8" naturals chevron ribbon

Gee, thanks

There are a lot of great stamp set and framelit bundles in the Occasions catalog this time around and I have chosen one to use today on this thank you card.

The bundle is the Just Sayin' stamp set and Word Bubbles Framelits on page 36 of the catalog.  I paired it with the Ampersand folder and some more essentials wooden elements.

Supplies:
Just Sayin'
Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party, Whisper white card stock
Fresh Prints dsp
Baked Brown Sugar ink
Ampersand folder
Word Bubbles framelits
