Another sneak peek from the Occasions catalog today - it won't be long until you can order!  This stamp set is called Painted Petals and there is also a designer series paper that goes along with it called Painted Blooms.  Although I didn't use it on this card, I LOVE IT!

Snowflake Gift

Once in awhile, I like to play with some of the great embellishments that Stampin' Up! offers us and make something different with them.  I have taken the All is Calm Snowflake embellishments and made them into earrings.

Then, I decided to create a package for them so I took some Naturals White card stock and cut it to fit inside the Tiny Treat boxes, punched a couple holes to insert the earrings and set it inside the box.

To decorate the box, I used the Letterpress Winter and Label Love stamp sets along with a few punches and added a belly band of All is Calm specialty paper.

I thought it was a fun little gift and of course it is already packaged and ready to give!

Supplies:
Letterpress Winter, Label Love
Smoky Slate, Coastal Cabana ink
Basic Gray and Whisper White card stock
All is Calm specialty paper
All is Calm Snowflake embellishments
Artisan label punch
1" circle punch
1 1/4" scalloped circle punch
Crop-o-dile

Mr. and Mrs.

At Late Night Stampers, we are now using the theme Celebrations (Father's Day, Wedding, Graduation, etc.) so I thought I would go with a wedding card this time around.

I started with a piece of Gold Foil Sheet and embossed it with the Modern Mosaic folder.  Then, I punched out a few little banners in Fancy Foil Gold Vellum and Champagne Glimmer paper.  With the Glimmer paper banners, I adhered them to some Basic Black card stock and cut them out so that a little of the black showed around the edges.  These are stapled onto the Gold Foil and then I added some basic rhinestones to the mix...

The Mr. and Mrs. is stamped with Metallic gold ink and I added a little Watercolor Wonder washi tape and gold sequin trim to complete the card.

Hope you play along with us!

Supplies:
Label Love
Metallic Gold ink
Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold Foil, Champagne Glimmer and Fancy Foil Vellum card stock and papers

Label Love with Betsy's Blossoms

I don't think I have used Perfect Plum in a project for awhile so for today's sample, I have paired it with Whisper White and Silver on a wedding (or probably anniversary would work too) card.

The background starts with the Ampersand folder and then a layer of Silver Fancy Foil Vellum with a strip of 1/8" Silver ribbon over the top.  Next, I stamped the big flower from Betsy's Blossoms and punched it out with the 2 1/2" circle punch and layered it over the vellum.

Lastly, the Mr. & Mrs. is stamped with silver metallic ink and punched out with the Artisan label punch.

I really like this combination!

Supplies:
Label Love
Betsy's Blossoms
Silver Metallic, Perfect Plum ink
Whisper White, Perfect Plum card stock

The Grad Life

Today's cards are some hybrids made using My Digital Studio's The Grad Life download.  I did a little stamping on them as well using the Pomp and Circumstance stamp set that is in the Occasions catalog.

Each one is slightly different, but the basic concept is the same.  I used some Silver Fancy Foil Vellum in the background on a few and on others some Silver Glimmer paper.

The matting for both the digital pieces and the stamped items also vary as I was digging into the scrap box again as I created them.

Every year I try to get my graduation cards done early since we get so busy shipping and planting potatoes in April and May and I don't want to have to scramble at the last minute to get them done.  Somehow, I always do a little scrambling, but this year I made many many more than usual so I think I will be good...maybe.

Hip Notes

I am kind of having a hard time getting back into creating after our vacation, I think I was away from the stamp room for too long (only 6 days, LOL!)!

With as few elements as this card has, you would not think it took to too long to create it, but it actually did.  I do like the end result though.

I used the Gold Metallic ink to stamp my sentiment from Hip Notes and then punched it out with the Artisan Label punch.

The gold sequins are just part of the gold sequin trim taken apart, but boy they sure don't want to stick to the card stock and designer series paper!  I finally used sticky strip and that did the trick :)

Supplies:
Hip Notes
Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Gold Fancy Foil Vellum, Watercolor Wonder dsp
Gold Metallic ink
Sweet Sorbet accessory kit
Artisan Label punch
Gold sequin trim

I made a belly band for the little pizza style box...

and punched a couple 1/8" holes to put the earrings into on the inside.

Label Love Birthday with Scraps

Again, I was trying to make use of some scraps on these cards, it didn't dent my pile too much, but I still like the cards :)

I added some strips of card stock and designer series paper to a strip of Whisper White and layered it onto my Basic Gray embossed card stock for this one.

This is more the type of card I make even without using scraps, but the die cut piece and flag were also scraps.

Cutest Baby Ever

I went with lots of layers on the sentiment on this card!  The bottom is one of the Delicate Doilies die cuts, the next a 1 3/4" circle, the Artisan label punch, the 1 1/4" scallop circle and finally the 7/8" scallop circle.

I alternated with Stampin' Dimensionals and Snail adhesive to put the layers together.

Calypso Coral and Basic Gray classic ink
Epic Day this and that dsp
Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight card stock
Delicate Doilies sizzlit

Diagonal Thinking of You

I was playing with some diagonal cuts on another project and thought I would use the scraps for some cards.  I added this piece of Gingham Garden dsp to a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock that I embossed with the Modern Mosaic folder.

Then, I added my sentiment from Sassy Salutations and use the Artisan Label punch to create the edges on it, by only placing one side in at a time.

Lastly, I added a flower I made with the Simply Pressed Clay and Molds.  The clay had some Melon Mambo re-inker worked into it.

Colors:
Pistachio Pudding, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Whisper White  and Island Indigo (ink)

Happy Birthday Soho Subway Style

I am a designer paper lover, I admit it!  This is another one that is becoming a favorite and it is called Soho Subway - I think it might be the combination of colors that grabs me on this one and I have to say I am normally not a fan of Summer Starfruit.

I put together some simple birthday cards using this dsp and the Label Love stamp set and Artisan Label punch.

There are more of those Very Vintage designer buttons with Linen thread again too :)

The Soho Subway designer series paper uses the colors Crisp Cantaloupe, Summer Starfruit, Early Espresso, Island Indigo, and Very Vanilla.
