Hip Notes

 

I am kind of having a hard time getting back into creating after our vacation, I think I was away from the stamp room for too long (only 6 days, LOL!)! 

 

With as few elements as this card has, you would not think it took to too long to create it, but it actually did.  I do like the end result though.

 

I used the Gold Metallic ink to stamp my sentiment from Hip Notes and then punched it out with the Artisan Label punch. 

 

The gold sequins are just part of the gold sequin trim taken apart, but boy they sure don't want to stick to the card stock and designer series paper!  I finally used sticky strip and that did the trick :)

Mini Memories Album

 

I had so much fun putting together this adorable little mini album called Mini Memories Simply Created Album that is in the Occasions catalog.  My theme is baby since we have a new niece and I thought her mom would have fun adding pictures and other fun things to it.

 

I have to say that the kit pretty much puts itself together and I just added a few mats for pictures and some stamped images.

 

There is a little pocket with a pull out Scalloped Tag Topper Punch piece on the inside cover.

 

In addition to the Baby, We've Grown stamp set, I used some images from Everything Eleanor.

 

Love those tea lace paper doilies!!

 

I also threw in some twine from the Sweet Sorbet accessory kit and some Watercolor Wonder washi tape.

Aren't those little heart clips adorable?

 

 

When I was finished, I hadn't quite used up all the accessories that came with the album kit.

 

A spot for journaling stamped with an image from Everything Eleanor.

Wonderful Life

I have some more fun items from the Sweet Sorbet accessory kit on my cards that I will share with you today.  The twine in the kit is awesome and thick, but the cork pieces are fun too.  The images are printed in white on the cork and they are adhesive backed so you just grab one and stick it right on your project!

 

My two cards use the same saying and banner framelit, but have a little different layout and colors.  Each uses the Regarding Dahlias as a background with the image stamped in Strawberry Slush ink.

Oh, Baby

 

I found myself in need of baby cards again and put together some for both boys and girls using the Baby, We've Grown stamp set in the Occasions catalog.

 

My backgrounds are some Watercolor Wonder designer series paper matted on Crisp Cantaloupe and Smoky Slate.

 

I used markers to color in the bunnies and pacifiers and added some twine from the Sweet Sorbet accessory kit (SAB) to finish the card.

More playing around with the Petal Parade (SAB) stamp set on this card using one of the designs as an outside border.

 

My sentiment comes from the Best of Love stamp set and I added some twine from the Sweet Sorbet accessory kit (SAB) for a little fun as well.

 

 

The flower was stamped once on the card stock base and twice on scrap paper so I could cut out the two layers you see here.

Watercolor Note Cards

 

I don't normally make note size cards, but since I just LOVE the Watercolor Wonder patterns in the Occasions catalog, I decided to try the note card package.  Over the next few days I will share with you the quick and easy cards I created with the package (and I do mean QUICK and EASY!).  

 

A simple piece of card stock cut into a banner, a sentiment and mat and you have a beautiful note card to send to someone special!  The card on the right isn't any more difficult - just punch out a sentiment and add a strip of card stock, a Sweet Sorbet accessory flower and a candy dot!
