November Stamp Club Projects

This month I went with a fall themed layout and Christmas themed cards and tags.  The layout uses the Into the Woods designer series paper and I also used some images from the For All Things stamp set.

For the cards, we used the Reason for the Season and Warm Wishes stamp sets.

The Sleigh Ride edgelits seemed to pair well with the Home for Christmas designer series paper so we added the images from Warm Wishes to that card.

And we once again used the Home for Christmas designer series paper for the second card...

The tags used several punches - ornate tag topper, scalloped tag topper, 1 3/4" circle, 2" circle, decorative label and tree...and we used the A Little Something and Holly Jolly Greetings stamp sets to complete them.

Remember, if these projects look like fun you are welcome to join our group any time!  If you are not local, one of the Virtual Clubs might work for you as well.

Woo-Hoo!

The Project Life set in the Holiday catalog is called Seasonal Snapshot and it covers back to school, fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.  I actually used it for the last day of school photos in this layout since it is pretty versatile.

Wyatt's last day of 4th grade meant he was off to a new school this fall (which technically wasn't new to him since he had kindergarten there before there was a school consolidation).

In addition to the Project Life kit, I added some sentiments from the stamp set called Bravo.

Supplies:
Real Red, Old Olive ink
Old Olive, Hello Honey, Real Red, Very Vanilla card stock
Bravo

Confirmation Pages

I realized that I had not done pages for my oldest son's Confirmation and First Holy Communion so I decided to do a couple hybrid pages using the Easter Blessings digital download in My Digital Studio.  These are the pages before they were printed...

And after I added the photos and some embellishments...

I layered some flowers in the digital process and then added a basic pearl when I was embellishing.

Some Victoria crochet trim and a Scalloped tag topper journaling tag, my photos and that is it!

Supplies:
Pistachio Pudding, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede card stock
Victoria crochet trim
scalloped tag topper punch
basic pearls

Everyday Occasions Card Kit Day 2

So, this is the second card I made the other day using the Everyday Occasions Card kit and this time I did use a sentiment from the kit.  The non kit item this time is the Silver Glimmer paper that is in the form of a tag using the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

There is some Silver Glimmer paper in the kits but it is die cut and I wanted something a little different :)  I love that there are so many die cut pieces in this kit, it makes for quick and easy cards that look like you spend a lot of time on them!

This one might have to go into the mail for my niece who just earned a trip to the Regional Science Fair!  Great job Claire!!

Scalloped Tag Topper Card

There are some great tutorials around for creating a card like this with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch so I thought I needed to try it out :)

I chose to use Coastal Cabana as my card base and did some random stamping with the flower in the Gifts of Kindness stamp set.

The sentiment comes from People Like You and was punched out with the Decorative Label punch.

I really like the style of this card and you will probably be seeing a few more before too long!

Supplies:
Gifts of Kindness
People Like You
Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe card stock
Caked Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe ink
Soft Suede taffeta ribbon
Decorative label punch

Wonderful Life

I have some more fun items from the Sweet Sorbet accessory kit on my cards that I will share with you today.  The twine in the kit is awesome and thick, but the cork pieces are fun too.  The images are printed in white on the cork and they are adhesive backed so you just grab one and stick it right on your project!

My two cards use the same saying and banner framelit, but have a little different layout and colors.  Each uses the Regarding Dahlias as a background with the image stamped in Strawberry Slush ink.

Supplies:
Perfect Pennants
Regarding Dahlias
Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Pistachio Pudding, Bermuda Bay card stock
Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush ink
Sweet Sorbet accessory kit
Scalloped tag topper punch
Banner framelits

February Stamp Club projects

I used a few of the Sale-a-bration items for this month's stamp club projects.  On our layout, you will find Petal Parade images as well as Sweet Sorbet designer series paper pieces.

For the card on the left, I chose Watercolor Wonder designer paper, tea lace paper doilies, the decorative dots folder and See Ya Later stamp set.

The card on the right and below uses the Decorative Dots folder again along with the Springtime Hello stamp set.

I added an Elegant Butterfly and some basic rhinestones to complete this one, the paper is just so pretty!!

You & Me

I was playing with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch and layers on this card by using a strip of Strawberry Slush that was about 1 3/4" and one of Whisper White that was 2".  They are just so much fun to play with!

The sentiment comes from Countless Sayings 2 and is stamped in Island Indigo and Strawberry Slush.  I placed both the you and me stamps on the same block and stamped them at the same time over the ampersand.

A little bit of 5/8" natural Chevron ribbon and Quatrefancy specialty paper and the card is good to go!

Supplies:
Countless sayings 2
Pool Party, Whisper white, Strawberry Slush card stock
Strawberry Slush and Island Indigo ink
Quatrefancy specialty paper
Honeycomb folder
Scalloped tag topper punch
5/8" natural chevron ribbon

I thought the saying from Perfect Pennants (Life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful) would look fun with the coffee cup from Perfect Blend.  And there is that Scalloped Tag Topper punch again too, LOL!

Something New

Out Late Night Stampers challenge for the next two weeks is - Something New -- It's a new year so let's make a card, L/O, or 3D project to celebrate something new (wedding, baby, home,etc.).

I decided on baby for my card and used the Baby Prints and Cuddles and Kisses stamp sets.

I just love the two new angled topper punches in the Occasions catalog - they are SO easy to use to make quick tags!  The one on this card is the scalloped tag topper punch and I added some Coastal Cabana ruffle stretch trim to it.

Hope you come over and play along or check out the design team samples!
