Holly Jolly Greetings

Back to a Christmas card to share with you today!  This one uses some designer series paper scraps kind of randomly thrown onto a piece of card stock that was stamped with some Gold Metallic ink.

My snowflake is also gold metallic and I added a retired button with some baker's twine in the middle of it.  The words were stamped with Basic Black ink and cut out by hand before I popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Supplies:
Holly Jolly Greetings
Metallic Gold, Basic Black ink
Emerald Envy, Mint Macaron, Whisper White card stock
designer button
baker's twine

Let Us Celebrate

The Tag A Bag Gift Boxes are always a fun little way to give a little treat.  I used a piece of It's My Party designer series paper under the clear sleeve that goes around the box base on this one.

Then I used a couple pieces of another pattern and attached them to the ends of the box and decorated it.

A few It's my party enamel dots, a little baker's twine and stamping and it is complete!

Supplies:
Balloon Celebration
Daffodil Delight, Basic Black ink
Whisper White, Daffodil Delight card stock
It's my party designer series paper and enamel dots
Baker's twine

Thinking of You

I am still trying to decide if I like this color combination, I am not sure if I like the Wild Wasabi with Lost Lagoon?...Anyway, the sentiment on this card comes from the stamp set called A Little Something.  The set is pretty versatile containing sentiment and images for several occasions.

I ran the Lost Lagoon card stock through the Big Shot with the Elegant Dots folder and then added a piece of Neutrals color collection designer series paper before attaching the sentiment layers and bakers twine.

Going Wild

I may have used too many different patterns on this card, LOL!  The designer paper is called Go Wild and I guess that is what I did with the patterns.  I layered some banners created with the Banner triple punch and added some silver baker's twine and neutrals sequins.

The sentiment is from the Watercolor Words stamp set...

Supplies:
Watercolor Words
Memento Black ink

Tip Top Taupe, Whisper White, Basic Black card stock

Thinking of You

This is a card I have recently added to my Stamp a Stack collection using the Wetlands stamp set.  I chose a strip of Sweet Li'l Things designer series paper to go behind the die cut piece from Party Pennants.

It is a pretty quick one to put together since all the pieces are cut out for them already and makes a nice masculine card too with the option of switching out a different sentiment.

The grain image is fitting for this time of year in my area as well as we are into wheat harvest right now.  That also means I may be unable to post everyday for a little while, but will do my best to keep up.  It will be fun to get into my combine again though!

Supplies:
Wetlands
Early Espresso, Crushed Curry ink
Wild Wasabi, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake card stock
gold baker's twine
large polka dots folder

Hardwood and Butterflies

On the two cards below, I used the same stamp sets but made a couple variations.  On the layer with the flower and the sentiment, I have the Hardwood image in the background but I stamped it off on scrap paper a couple times before I added it to the card stock layer on these cards.

The one on the left has some Night of Navy and Coastal Cabana card stock layered onto it while the other card is just Crumb Cake on itself.

Supplies:
Butterfly Basics, Hardwood
Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy card stock
Hello Honey, Night of Navy and Soft Suede ink
Butterflies thinlits
bakers twine

Life's Adventure

The card I have to share today uses one of the new hostess sets called Life's Adventure.  I colored the cake with the Blendabilities markers (Coastal Cabana and Rich Razzleberry) and then added some images from Point and Click to the background.

The baker's twine is just wrapped around the Smoky Slate card stock and taped down in the  back with washi tape to hold it in place.

Supplies:
Life's Adventure
Point and Click
Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie, Bermuda Bay ink
Blendabilities (Coastal Cabana, Rich Razzleberry)
white baker's twine

Sending Good Thoughts

I would like to share a card collection that I put together using the Kaleidoscope designer series paper and Perfect Pennants stamp set.  I love the patterns and colors in the designer series paper and wanted to play with them a little bit.

The ampersand folder came in hand for the first two cards and I sanded down the embossed image a little to show more contrast with the rest of the card stock piece.

I paired the folder with the You & Me stamp and cut the you and me out and popped them up.

Next, I played with the banners framelits, some bakers twine and the scallops folder and showcased the designer series paper a little bit more.

You can see I had to dress up the envelopes a little as well...

The last two cards also feature the banners framelits, the decorative dots folder, baker's twine and some fun brights buttons.

The bottom of the top layer of banners were rolled out a little bit.

Finally, what good is a card set without a box?  This one has diagonal sides and will hold all the cards and their envelopes.

Supplies:
Perfect Pennants
Basic Black, Basic Gray, Whisper White, Strawberry Slush, Bermuda Bay, Summer Crushed Curry card stock and inks
Baker's Twine
Brights buttons
Scallops, Ampersand and Decorative Dots folders
Banners framelits

The Grad Life Part 1

I recently made graduation announcements for one of our nephews which I will share sometime in the future, but in the process I started thinking about some table decorations in the same theme.  Today you will see one of them and tomorrow one more :)

They are both based on a digital download called The Grad Life which I used in Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio program.

I chose to use Pacific Point as the focal color on all the printed items and added some white, black and gold accents.

In the bottom of the jar, there are a few punched items (chevron border punch and itty bitty punches), some individual gold sequins that were made by taking apart the sequin trim, buttons, and cut confetti and diplomas and caps that were stamped and cut out.

I took two of the circles that were first printed and then punched (1 3/4" circle punch), put them together with dimensionals and added some baker's twine between them.  The baker's twine is wrapped around an antique brad that is stuck into the cork top of the jar so it holds it suspended.

Finally, I used some of the same baker's twine and wrapped it many times around the neck of the jar and then tied a bow.

It is a fairy simple thing to put together and you could really add anything you like to the inside or change the occasion idea as well.

Oh Happy Day!

Another paper mache project to share today, this time it is a book box that I converted into a card box.  This was a really fun project to put together - I might have to pick up another book box  and do it again with a different theme!

I decided to go with the colors in the Gingham Garden designer series paper and also used the washi tape to cover the raised edges on the side of the "book".

To decorate the cover, I used another spiral flower die and some dazzling details along with an Elegant butterfly and sentiment from Starburst Sayings.

This is what the whole ensemble looks like, cards and all.  Each of the cards have a different feel while they all contain Starburst Sayings and Framelits images.

Lots of layers, designer series paper and some fun things to embellish are included on all the cards in the box.

The one below might have become a little too busy...

I thought the saying from Perfect Pennants (Life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful) would look fun with the coffee cup from Perfect Blend.  And there is that Scalloped Tag Topper punch again too, LOL!

While most of the designer series paper on these cards comes from the Quatrefancy specialty paper kit, there is a piece from Fresh Prints and the 2012-2014 in color stack as well.
