Let Us Celebrate

 

The Tag A Bag Gift Boxes are always a fun little way to give a little treat.  I used a piece of It's My Party designer series paper under the clear sleeve that goes around the box base on this one.

 

Then I used a couple pieces of another pattern and attached them to the ends of the box and decorated it.

 

A few It's my party enamel dots, a little baker's twine and stamping and it is complete!

This card uses one of the colors I use the least out of all of Stampin' Up!'s color selections.  Tangerine Tango and maybe all the oranges are not used too often for some reason, maybe I need to make a point to change that...

 

Anyway, I used the Apple of my Eye stamp set and stamped a bunch of orange images and a few cherries in the background and then stamped another orange with a sentiment in it on scrap paper and punched it out.  For some texture I added some white perfect accents and It's my party enamel dots.

Rose Birthday

 

This is the card we gave my mother-in-law last weekend on her birthday.  I used the Rose Wonder stamp set which coordinates with the Rose Garden thinlit dies to create it.  

 

I glued the rose die to a piece of Pink Pirouette card stock and then cut around it before using my Wink of Stella glitter brush on the whole thing. 

 

I added a couple pieces of ribbon, a retired artisan embellishment and some It's my party dots to finish off the card.

As I have mentioned before, I love large stamp sentiments and the Sale-a-bration catalog has a stamp set that fits that description.  It is called Botanicals for you and as you can see below, the main sentiment takes up about a third of the card.

 

The coordinating images in the set make it easy to create a one layer card if you desire to do so.  On this one, I added a few little popped up pieces, but for the most part it is just one layer.

 

I cut out a couple of the flowers I stamped and added a few of the It's My Party enamel dots.
