Sweet Friend

A friend had some of these adorable little coffee cups in her store at the retreat and I had to buy a few to play with.  I actually took one apart to get a template for the designer series paper that is wrapped around this one.

I pulled out a stamp set I rarely use called Six Sided Sampler and my hexagon punch and quickly made a little tag that I placed on top of the designer series paper and the Pool Party glitter ribbon that I wrapped around the cup.

There will definitely be more of these in my future!

Happy Happenings

Sometimes I leave pieces of Project Life kits out on my stamp table to be sure to use them for a project in the near future and forget which set they are from...that is the case with this card!  The background that is watercolor wash and splattered is the card that I am uncertain about...

I paired it with the Happy Happenings stamp set and some It's My Party designer series paper and added a piece die cut using the Mini treat bag thinlits.  This piece has some Pool Party glitter ribbon placed behind it so you can see it through the holes.

Supplies:
Happy Happenings
Melon Mambo ink
Whisper White, Daffodil Delight card stock
Shine on specialty paper

Look Who's Turning...

Last week one of our nieces turned 2 and even though she probably won't care much about the card, I wanted to make a fun one for her.  I found out later that she received some balloons at breakfast that day and didn't want to let go of them...so maybe the balloon idea on the card went over ok with her too :)

I used the Circle Card Thinlit die to start with and cut my base out of Whisper White.

There is a lot of stamping all around the card and I added some Pool Party glitter ribbon to the outside edge.

I decided to add another layer to the back of the card and used some Pink Pirouette card stock.  In order for the circle cut out part of the card to still move, I needed to trim a little of the card stock on the back after I attached it.

On the inside, I added some more stamping, a banner and the die cut 2.

Some more die cuts...

A couple more views...

Rose Birthday

This is the card we gave my mother-in-law last weekend on her birthday.  I used the Rose Wonder stamp set which coordinates with the Rose Garden thinlit dies to create it.

I glued the rose die to a piece of Pink Pirouette card stock and then cut around it before using my Wink of Stella glitter brush on the whole thing.

I added a couple pieces of ribbon, a retired artisan embellishment and some It's my party dots to finish off the card.
