Mini Treat Gift Card Holders

I have been playing around with my Mini Treat Bag thinlit lately and put together a bunch of little gift card holder treat bags. Below are some of the Christmas themed ones, but I also made a few birthday.

I started with some This Christmas Specialty Designer Series paper and cut out my pieces with the Big Shot and the Mini Treat Bag thinlit die.

Then I took some scraps of the same specialty paper, Basic Gray and Very Vanilla card stock and
added my sentiment and some layers on the front of the bag.  Inside I added a piece of Very Vanilla card stock that a gift card holder and note could be added to.

Supplies:
Wonder of Christmas
Garden Green, Smoky Slate ink
Basic Gray, Very Vanilla card stock
This Christmas specialty designer series paper
tear and tape adhesive
banner triple punch

Mini Treat Bag with a Window

When I went into my stamp room the other day to create, I had in my head I was going to put together a Halloween themed treat bag using the Mini Treat Bag thinlit dies and the Halloween Night specialty paper.  As I was doing my die cutting, I decided to add a little twist to the bag and add a window with some mini pumpkins and sequins floating around inside.

I punched out the circle with my 2" punch after I had die cut the bag pieces and then added a piece of Fabulous Foil designer acetate on the inside of the bag.  Next, I took the foam adhesive strips and went all the way around the circle and added the mini pumpkin die cuts and some sequins in the circle before placing another piece of Halloween Night specialty paper onto the adhesive strips.

To decorate the rest of the bag, I used some white thick baker's twine, Pop of Pink washi tape, Thoughtful Branches stamp set and Ghoulish Grunge stamp set.

I also added a few Halloween night enamel dots to my sentiment.

Supplies:
Thoughtful Branches, Ghoulish Grunge
Basic Black, Smoky Slate ink
Halloween night specialty paper
Fabulous foil designer acetate
Smoky Slate, Peekaboo Peach card stock
Halloween night enamel dots
thick white baker's twine
Pop of pink washi tape
gold binder clips
sequins

Mini Treat Bag - Double Sized

I wanted to make the mini treat bag a little larger so I cut out two of each piece and put them together so they created a bag with a wider opening for goodies.  Then I just added some card stock to the bottom to close the bag.

I thought some images from the Playful Backgrounds stamp set would pair nicely with the pattern in the Playful Palette designer series paper I used for the bag so I added that to my sentiment layer.

A little ribbon, a binder clip and the bag is complete!

Supplies:
Better together, Playful Backgrounds
Sweet Sugarplum, Basic Black ink
Very Vanilla card stock
ruched ribbon
cotton ribbon
gold binder clip

Happy Happenings

Sometimes I leave pieces of Project Life kits out on my stamp table to be sure to use them for a project in the near future and forget which set they are from...that is the case with this card!  The background that is watercolor wash and splattered is the card that I am uncertain about...

I paired it with the Happy Happenings stamp set and some It's My Party designer series paper and added a piece die cut using the Mini treat bag thinlits.  This piece has some Pool Party glitter ribbon placed behind it so you can see it through the holes.

Supplies:
Happy Happenings
Melon Mambo ink
Whisper White, Daffodil Delight card stock
Shine on specialty paper
It's my party dsp
basic rhinestones
Pool Party glitter ribbon
Mini treat bag thinlit

Happy Birthday Treat Bag

We have a package of some fun specialty paper in the Occasions catalog called Shine On.  It is double sided kraft paper, so thicker than the regular designer series paper, and on one side the pattern has silver foil designs.

I thought it would be nice to use it to make some Mini Treat Bags because of the weight of the paper.

I added some neutral designer sequins and a few leftover Paper Pumpkin pieces from my stash as well.  The banner piece in the back is one of the Paper Pumpkin pieces and I ran over the whole piece with the glitter brush for a little more shine.

Supplies:
Perfect Pairings (SAB 2016)
Basic Black ink
Whisper White
Shine on specialty paper
Mini Treat Bag thinlit
Neutrals designer sequins

Celebrate!

I have a fun little bag to share with you today using the Mini Treat Bag thinlit.  The paper is retired but the rest of the elements are available from the current catalogs.

I cut a piece of glassine paper and embossed it with the Softly Falling folder and then used the Triple banner punch on it.  After attaching it to some white jute ribbon, I added some white cotton ribbon and an antique brad before attaching it to the treat bag.

The, I took a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock and added an image from the Bohemian borders stamp set and an Expressions natural element to complete the bag.

These are so much fun to put together and are the perfect way to give someone a gift card or some other fun little treat.

You are definitely going to find something you love in the upcoming Occasions catalog and Sale-a-bration catalog.  There are so many fun new project kits, stamp sets, accessories...

The first sneak peek I will share with you is the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit die.  it makes the most adorable little bag that measures 3 11/16" x 5 1/4" and has coordinating accessory dies (the strip with the holes in it and the "for you" along with several others).

The designer series paper I chose for this one is called Birthday Bash specialty paper.
