November Stamp Club Projects

 

This month I went with a fall themed layout and Christmas themed cards and tags.  The layout uses the Into the Woods designer series paper and I also used some images from the For All Things stamp set.  

 

For the cards, we used the Reason for the Season and Warm Wishes stamp sets. 

The Sleigh Ride edgelits seemed to pair well with the Home for Christmas designer series paper so we added the images from Warm Wishes to that card.

 

And we once again used the Home for Christmas designer series paper for the second card...

 

The tags used several punches - ornate tag topper, scalloped tag topper, 1 3/4" circle, 2" circle, decorative label and tree...and we used the A Little Something and Holly Jolly Greetings stamp sets to complete them.

Trick or Treat

 

Happy Halloween!  I thought I would stay in the spirit of Halloween with my card today.  This is one I used at my last Stamp A Stack and it went over quite well - simple and fun!  

 

The sentiment is stamped and punched out with the Note Tag Punch, then I colored the pumpkins in with some Pumpkin Pie ink and added a little button with a glue dot before adding it to the card.

Simple and Fun Halloween Treat Bags

 

The kids always like to give their friends treats at school for holidays and I like to find a way to have them help put them together.  This time we decided to use a Clear Medium envelope to hold the candy and added a bag topper and stamped piece.

 

One child decided on pumpkins and another on "trick or treat"...both used the Happy Haunting designer series paper for the toppers.

 

These are really easy to put together, but sometimes their attention spans aren't long enough to make the packaging too complicated.

Thinking of You

 

I am still trying to decide if I like this color combination, I am not sure if I like the Wild Wasabi with Lost Lagoon?...Anyway, the sentiment on this card comes from the stamp set called A Little Something.  The set is pretty versatile containing sentiment and images for several occasions.

 



 

I ran the Lost Lagoon card stock through the Big Shot with the Elegant Dots folder and then added a piece of Neutrals color collection designer series paper before attaching the sentiment layers and bakers twine.

Spider Web

 

While I have found ways that make die cutting intricate thinlits much easier, I really love it when Stampin' Up! gives us some fun things that are already cut out!  That is the case with the Spider Web doilies in the Holiday catalog and I have used one on the card below.  

 

I added it to the card just over the top of the Happy Haunting designer series paper and although it is hard to see, I added some loops of Metallic gold thread underneath the Metal rimmed pearl.

Three Little Pumpkins

 

I have another Square Pillow Box Thinlit sample to share with you today using the Happy Haunting designer series paper.

 

I paired it with the A Little Something stamp set which you would find on the same page of the Holiday catalog as the thinlits dies (pg. 41).  The box is so simple to put together as I mentioned before, just fold on the scored lines and add some adhesive to two sides and put them together! 

 

There are several smaller thinlit dies in the package for accents on the pillow box and I chose to use the three little pumpkins on this one and added some layers to the back of the cut out piece.  You will see the pumpkin cut outs in the future sometime!
