Fun Stamp Case Gift

I always have some stamp cases laying around in various sizes so that if I want to put together a little gift with them I have them ready to go.  The one I used on this project is the half size and I added some designer series paper from the Season of Cheer collection behind the plastic covering.

Than, I stamped my sentiment and punched it out with the Note Tag punch and layered it on some more designer series paper that I punched with the Ornate tag punch.

A little linen thread, some white perfect accents and corrugated paper and the front of the case is ready to go...

On the inside, I added some cute little arrow post it notes that came in a Project Life kit awhile ago that I had not used, a regular size post it note pad and some lip gloss and hand sanitizer.

The lip gloss and hand sanitizer are attached with little Velcro pieces so that once you take them off, you can put them back in place again and they will stay there.

Supplies:
Friendly Wishes
Night of Navy ink
Soft Sky card stock
Season of Cheer dsp
Note Tag, Ornate Tag punch
linen thread
perfect white accents
corrugated paper
washi tape
Velcro
half stamp case
post it notes

November Stamp Club Projects

This month I went with a fall themed layout and Christmas themed cards and tags.  The layout uses the Into the Woods designer series paper and I also used some images from the For All Things stamp set.

For the cards, we used the Reason for the Season and Warm Wishes stamp sets.

The Sleigh Ride edgelits seemed to pair well with the Home for Christmas designer series paper so we added the images from Warm Wishes to that card.

And we once again used the Home for Christmas designer series paper for the second card...

The tags used several punches - ornate tag topper, scalloped tag topper, 1 3/4" circle, 2" circle, decorative label and tree...and we used the A Little Something and Holly Jolly Greetings stamp sets to complete them.

Remember, if these projects look like fun you are welcome to join our group any time!  If you are not local, one of the Virtual Clubs might work for you as well.

Canning Tags

Despite it being potato harvest season, I am still trying to keep up with the vegetables in my garden.  I fortunately finished making dill pickles before we started the potato digging (50 quarts!) but the tomatoes were a little slower to ripen so I have been doing that if it gets too hot to harvest.

I thought the Farmers Market designer series paper would be fun to use to create some tags to use when I share what I preserve.

The Homemade for You stamp set worked great to pair with the designer series paper and I used some scraps and punches to complete them.

A little bit of Cherry Cobbler thick bakers twine as an accent and silver bakers twine  to tie onto the jars...

Supplies:
Homemade for You
Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green ink
Farmers market dsp
Very Vanilla, Tip Top Taupe, Soft Suede card stock
ornate tag topper punch
decorative label punch
 scallop circle punch
2" circle punch
Cherry Cobbler thick baker's twine
silver bakers twine
candy dots
linen thread
designer series buttons

You're Great

Another example of how I sit down to create when I don't get much time in the stamp room - more scraps of Farmers Market designer series paper...well, they were sitting on top of the scrap pile so they ended up there.  Maybe I need a better system!

I added part of the Watercolor Wash image behind some layers that was stamped with So Saffron ink..

Both ends of the layer with the 5/8" satin ribbon were punched with the Ornate tag topper punch and then I added some white perfect accents and neutrals sequins.

Mint Macaron, Whisper White, Crumb Cake card stock
Farmers market dsp
5/8" white satin ribbon

Best Day Ever

I am back to the Birthday Blossoms stamp set with a 12 x 12 scrapbook page today.  The title of "best day ever" actually is in our scrapbooks several times, but it fits for a lot of different circumstances!

I stamped with Tip Top Taupe ink on the Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla and Early Espresso card stock pieces.  Next I added some Gold Fancy Foil Vellum and Venetian crochet trim ribbon.

Finally, I added my journaling on a piece of Tip Top Taupe that was punched with the Ornate tag topper punch and some metal rimmed pearls.

Supplies:
Stamp A Bag, Birthday Blossoms stamp sets
Tip Top Taupe ink
Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride, Tip Top Taupe, Early Espresso card stock
Fancy Foil Vellum
metal rimmed pearls
Venetian crochet trim ribbon
Ornate tag topper punch
