Best Day Ever

I am back to the Birthday Blossoms stamp set with a 12 x 12 scrapbook page today.  The title of "best day ever" actually is in our scrapbooks several times, but it fits for a lot of different circumstances!

I stamped with Tip Top Taupe ink on the Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla and Early Espresso card stock pieces.  Next I added some Gold Fancy Foil Vellum and Venetian crochet trim ribbon.

Finally, I added my journaling on a piece of Tip Top Taupe that was punched with the Ornate tag topper punch and some metal rimmed pearls.

Supplies:
Stamp A Bag, Birthday Blossoms stamp sets
Tip Top Taupe ink
Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride, Tip Top Taupe, Early Espresso card stock
Fancy Foil Vellum
metal rimmed pearls
Venetian crochet trim ribbon
Ornate tag topper punch

14

My oldest son has friends that are turning 14 already, although he is about the youngest one in the class so it will be awhile yet for him.  This is a card I made for one of his friends birthdays not too long ago using the Larger than Life Alphabet and Numbers stamp set along with the Stamp A Bag stamp set.

I also used some washi tape from the Watercolor Wishes project kit and some stars from the June Paper Pumpkin kit.  (Those kit pieces are popping up everywhere in my projects these days!)

There is also a strip of Farmers Market designer series paper and the dots in the background behind the numbers are from the Homemade for You stamp set.

I decided to add some fun to the inside of the card as well using more pieces from the June Paper Pumpkin kit and a sentiment from the Tin of Card stamp set.

Supplies:
Tin of Cards, Homemade for you, Larger than Life Alphabet and Numbers, Stamp A Bag stamp sets
Tip Top Taupe, Night of Navy ink
Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, Old Olive card stock
June Paper Pumpkin kit
Watercolor Wishes card kit
linen thread

Serving Others

My oldest son has joined his friends the last two years to help raise money and pack meals for Feed My Starving Children.  The group always has a fun activity planned after they pack the meals, but they also have the kids do a 24 hour fast (if they wish) and they sleep (or maybe stay up) at the church over night.

I wanted to scrapbook the event for Hunter even though I didn't have pictures so I used a selfie that was taken on the ride to Grand Forks in the vehicle Hunter was in and then made a copy of a picture I found from a news source.  It worked even if it wasn't exactly what I would have liked...

For the page I used the Happy Times collection of Project Life on some Cajun Craze card stock and stamped some images from Stamp A Bag as well.

I added a few buttons but for the most part the accessories are from the Project Life kit.

I know they had a fun time and enjoyed helping others at the same time.

Supplies:
Soft Suede ink
Stamp a Bag
Cajun Craze, Island Indigo card stock
Happy Times project life collection
designer buttons
