Happy Times

This is another layout I put together at a scrapbooking retreat, I did separate pages for each of my kids, using photos that were a little different.  Each layout is similar and I used the Project Life Happy Times collection on all of them, but they are basically personalized.  This is Wyatt's page...

I added a few buttons to the page as well as some photo mats, but otherwise the elements are from the Project Life collection.

I love using the Project Life cards as titles on pages, every time I get a new collection I look through the cards for title ideas!

Supplies:
Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Island Indigo card stock
Project Life Happy Times collection
Regals buttons

Happy Place

http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/default.aspx

Today I have another canvas project to share with you.  It is another sample for those who take my class in a few weeks can look at for inspiration...

This time I used a denim background and stamped some images from the By the Tide stamp set onto it.  I used some burlap ribbon that was cut and frayed in a few spots as well as some buttons as accents.

The title comes from Hello Life and I chose the Happy Times Project Life card collection and accessory pack for the rest of the elements.

Of all my kids, Wyatt does the most fishing so I wanted to have his canvas to show those awesome times with grandpa.

Supplies:
Hello Life, By the Tide
Early Espresso, Soft Suede ink
Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Island Indigo card stock
designer series buttons
burlap ribbon
Happy Times Project Life card collection and accessory pack
denim canvas

Home

Sometimes when I am working on cards, I like to put together something that doesn't require stamping at all.  That is when the Project Life by Stampin' Up! kits come in handy!  For this card I chose some items from the Happy Times card collection and accessory pack and just added the card base and mat for the sentiment layer.

For accents, I did punch out the little heart and add the button to the top layer.  It was fast, quick and fun!

Supplies:
Happy Times Project Life card collection and accessory pack
small heart punch
designer series button
Tip Top Taupe, Soft Suede card stock

Serving Others

My oldest son has joined his friends the last two years to help raise money and pack meals for Feed My Starving Children.  The group always has a fun activity planned after they pack the meals, but they also have the kids do a 24 hour fast (if they wish) and they sleep (or maybe stay up) at the church over night.

I wanted to scrapbook the event for Hunter even though I didn't have pictures so I used a selfie that was taken on the ride to Grand Forks in the vehicle Hunter was in and then made a copy of a picture I found from a news source.  It worked even if it wasn't exactly what I would have liked...

For the page I used the Happy Times collection of Project Life on some Cajun Craze card stock and stamped some images from Stamp A Bag as well.

I added a few buttons but for the most part the accessories are from the Project Life kit.

I know they had a fun time and enjoyed helping others at the same time.

Moments Like These

Every once in awhile I have a few extra minutes to put together a scrapbook page (and I am SO FAR behind I need lots of extra minutes!!).  This picture probably isn't the oldest one that needs to be added to a page, but it is the one I picked to use anyway.

I chose to add some background stamping with the Chalk Lines and Dotty Angles stamp sets using Island Indigo ink on Cajun Craze card stock.

Then, I used the Happy Times Project Life collection card and accessory packs to complete the rest.  Don't you love those little epoxy circles?

I added a little Venetian lace and a vintage trinket to complete the page.

Supplies:
Dotty Angles, Chalk Lines
Island Indigo Ink
Cajun Craze, Soft Suede card stock
Happy Times Card Collection and Accessory pack
Venetian trim ribbon
vintage trinket
