We had quite a few graduations to get to this year since the kids are getting older and have friends graduating.  I put together a few of these pocket cards using the Pocket framelits and Pocket Full of Sunshine stamp set.

The background is embossed with the Dot to Dot impressions folder and my sentiment is from the Well Said and Wild About flowers stamp sets.

Supplies:
Wild about Flowers, Well Said, Pocket full of sunshine
Night of Navy ink
Balmy Blue, Whisper White, Gray Granite card stock
Tranquil Textures dsp
Pocket framelits
Bermuda Bay chevron ribbon

Cheers!

This is another sample of a card made for a customer recently.  I did a couple of different styles of retirement cards for them and for this one I chose to use the Mixed Drinks and Wild about Flowers stamp sets.

The designer series paper on the side is from the Color Theory stack and I added a bit of Wink of Stella glitter to the foam on the mug.

Supplies:
Mixed Drinks, Wild about Flowers
Basic Black, Crushed Curry ink
Color Theory dsp

Happy Retirement

Happy Friday!  I thought I would share a retirement card I made recently using the Mixed Drinks stamp set today.  It is really not too complicated but more fun than the picture looks!  Why?  Because you can't really see that the beverage and foam are shimmery from the Wink of Stella glitter brush.

I added some By the Shore designer series paper and used sentiment from both Mixed Drinks and Wild about Flowers.

Supplies:
Wild about Flowers, Mixed Drinks
Basic Black, Dapper Denim, So Saffron, ink
Smoky Slate, Very Vanilla card stock
By the Shore designer series paper
Wink of Stella glitter brush

New Adventure

Happy 4th of July!  I hope you have a fun and relaxing day, whatever you choose to do.  My family will celebrate as usual in my hometown with a parade and lots of other fun.

While the card I am sharing today doesn't have anything to do with the 4th of July, hopefully you will still enjoy it!

I chose to use the new Festive embossing folder in my background and added some linen thread and a metallic doily as well.  The flowers and sentiment all come from the Wilds About Flowers stamp set and I chose Wisteria Wonder and Wild Wasabi for the colors...I just noticed that my colors and stamp set all start with "W", including the Whisper White, LOL!

Supplies:
Wild about Flowers
Wisteria Wonder, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White card stock
Wisteria Wonder, Wild Wasabi ink
Metallic doilies
linen thread
Festive embossing folder

Flower Sympathy

I really love the Wild about Flowers stamp set and its versatility.  This card also uses the Timeless Textures stamp set in the background.  I wanted to break up the white background just a little bit and thought the splatter image worked well for that.

My sentiment comes from a retired stamp set and I chose Old Olive and Delightful Dijon as my ink colors for the flower and stems.

Mixing up the colors, sentiment and flower images would work well for this card too.

Supplies:
Wild about Flowers
Timeless Textures
Tip Top Taupe, Old Olive, Delightful Dijon ink
Whisper White, Island Indigo card stock

You Always Make Me Smile

It is new catalog day!  In honor of that, I have used a couple of the new stamp sets on this card along with a couple others.  First, I added an image from Summer Silhouettes in the background and used Sweet Sugarplum (new In Color) ink.

My flower layer is stamped with the Wild about Flowers stamp set using Garden Green and Sweet Sugarplum ink.  The sentiment uses two different stamp sets that are in the new catalog - the "friend" comes from the Thoughtful Banners set and the "you will always make me smile" from the Sitting Here set.  They are stamped with the new color Dapper Denim and punched out with the modern label punch.

I added a few basic pearls and some Sweet Sugarplum ruched ribbon to complete the card.

Supplies:
Sitting Here, Wild about flowers, Thoughtful banners, Summer silhouettes
Dapper Denim, Garden Green, Sweet Sugarplum ink
Whisper White, Sweet Sugarplum card stock
modern label punch
ruched ribbon
basic pearls

The Very Best

As I was using some of my retiring English Garden designer series paper, I decided to use a retiring stamp set as well - Everything Eleanor.  It is paired with a sentiment from Wild About Flowers.

Keeping with the color scheme of the designer series paper, I Night of Navy and Tip Top Taupe ink.  For the Tip Top Taupe layer, I stamped on scratch paper first to lighten the image.

I added a Tea lace paper doily and an In Color Blossom to complete the card.

Supplies:
Everything Eleanor, Wild about Flowers
Tip Top Taupe, Night of Navy ink
Whisper White, Night of Navy, Kraft card stock
Tea lace paper doily
In color blossom
