The Very Best

As I was using some of my retiring English Garden designer series paper, I decided to use a retiring stamp set as well - Everything Eleanor.  It is paired with a sentiment from Wild About Flowers.

Keeping with the color scheme of the designer series paper, I Night of Navy and Tip Top Taupe ink.  For the Tip Top Taupe layer, I stamped on scratch paper first to lighten the image.

I added a Tea lace paper doily and an In Color Blossom to complete the card.

Supplies:
Everything Eleanor, Wild about Flowers
Tip Top Taupe, Night of Navy ink
Whisper White, Night of Navy, Kraft card stock
Tea lace paper doily
In color blossom

Thanks so Much!

While I don't enjoy cutting out images too much, I did cut out these three flowers that were stamped from the Everything Eleanor stamp set.  They are layered onto a piece of Crumb Cake that has some images from Chalk Lines stamped to form a frame.

The sentiment is from a past Paper Pumpkin kit and I added some thick baker's twine from Sale-a-bration and a layer of Mint Macaron that was embossed with the Boho Chic folder.

I like this color combination and will probably use it again soon!  Lost Lagoon, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake and Whisper White...

Decorative Notepads

Quite awhile ago while I was in an office supply store I bought a pack of 8 1/2" x 11" note pads and had them cut into three pieces.  I have used a few since then, but I have quite a pile of them left and figured I better start using them up!

The holder for these note pads is 12" x 6 1/2" and is scored at 3 1/8" from both sides.  I added some Neutrals color collection designer series paper and layered some Boho Chic embossed card stock before I added my sentiment from Just Kidding that was cut out with the Labels collection framelits.

On the inside I added another strip of designer series paper...

For the second one, I used some Sale-a-bration leftovers along with the Everything Eleanor stamp set.

I have a layer embossed with the same impressions folder on this one as well as a tea lace paper doily.

These are fun little items to put together and don't take a lot of time.

Thank You

Today's card uses some of those great In Colors that we are going to say goodbye to in a few short weeks.  I am sure hoping that when Stampin' Up! has another color renovation some of them are able to return!!

I used the Sheltering Tree stamp set around the outside of my Crumb Cake card stock layer to add a fun element to this card.  It is stamped with Crumb Cake ink.

The sentiment is again from the April Paper Pumpkin kit and I can guarantee you will see more images from that kit in the future - I just love the fonts on the sentiments.

Crumb Cake, Crisp Cantaloupe, Soft Suede ink

August Stamp Club

Wow, the summer has flown by!  School will start before we know it (my daughter is ready RIGHT NOW! and the boys not so much!).

My stamp club group met this week and these are the projects for the month of August.

The first card uses Kinda Eclectic, some Beach House and Sweet Sadie washi tape and the 2" circle punch.

Card number two is a color on color card with Blackberry Bliss.  We used the Large Polka Dot folder, scalloped border ribbon punch and deco label framelits in the Big Shot and Everything Eleanor and Sassy Salutations for our stamp sets.

The layout is a brightly colored one this time using the Sweet Taffy designer series paper as the focus.

There is also a journaling card from the Happiness Is Project Life Collection.

Look like fun?  Contact me to get more information or join our club!

Wedding Gift

You may have noticed that I like to work with wooden trays a little bit :)  This one is wedding themed and the openings are made for artist trading cards or at least that size of whatever you put into it.

There are lots of different elements and stamp sets used on the project, many of which are in the Occasions catalog (remember you can only order from it until May 31st!).

The card uses Celebrate with us and Hearts a Flutter stamp sets, along with some Naturals composition specialty paper and Fancy foil Vellum paper.

I decorated the inside similar to the envelope...

Here are some close ups of the tray openings - these simply pressed clay flowers were sponged with Coastal Cabana ink after they were dry.

You will see some Everything Eleanor images along with Best of Love, Perfect Couple and Celebrate with us.

More of the Fancy Foil Vellum and 1/8" silver ribbon...

It doesn't want to show up in the pictures, but I stamped flower images on the Basic Black card stock using the Illuminations Glimmer watermark ink.

The large heart was stamped with Craft white ink and then cut out with the Hearts a flutter framelits...

The tray doesn't have a specific destination just yet, but I am sure I will find the need for a wedding gift this summer!

Celebrate with us, Hearts a Flutter, Everything Eleanor, Best of Love, Perfect Couple

Beautiful Song

The Late Night Stampers challenge right now is Mother's Day projects and I found this fun wooden cutting board one day that I decided to decorate.  The saying "Family is like music, some high notes, some low notes, but always a beautiful song" was something I found on Pinterest.

The Naturals Composition specialty paper went well with the saying so I layered that on some Soft Sky and rounded the corners.

Then, I used some delicate details lace tape, 5/8" chevron naturals ribbon and Pistachio Pudding ruffle stretch trim as accents.

A little flower from the Everything Eleanor stamp set in Strawberry Slush ink, a few more details (including a Strawberry Slush spiral flower) and you have a fun transformation!

Supplies:
Everything Eleanor
Strawberry Slush ink
Soft Sky, Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding card stock
Naturals composition specialty paper
delicate details lace tape
Pistachio Pudding ruffle stretch trim
5/8" Chevron natural ribbon
basic rhinestones
In color boutique details

Praying for You

I recently read an article in the paper about a 13 year old boy who has had 55 surgeries in his short life and has many more scheduled.  The article had an address for him so cards could be sent to encourage him during his journey.  This card is made with him in mind and is the one I sent to him last week...

The card combines Everything Eleanor, Springtime Hello and Blessings from Heaven stamp sets and pieces cut from Chalk Talk framelits and Little Leaves sizzlit.

Sometimes cards don't end up as we envision them because we change our minds midway through and that happened here...I had just placed the stamped and cut out image from Everything Eleanor on the card front when I realized I wanted to stamp the flower image from Springtime Hello on it.  Instead of trying to take it off, I stamped it while it was on the card front (with dimensionals behind it) and the image did not look good.  So...I went through the scrap pile and found a Chalk Talk framelits cutout that would fit over the bad image and stamped and sponged that before I covered up the mistake...

Supplies:
Springtime Hello, Everything Eleanor, Blessings from Heaven
Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake and Coastal Cabana card stock
Coastal Cabana and Soft Suede ink
sponges
Little Leaves sizzlit
Chalk Talk framelits
taffeta ribbon

Mini Memories Album

I had so much fun putting together this adorable little mini album called Mini Memories Simply Created Album that is in the Occasions catalog.  My theme is baby since we have a new niece and I thought her mom would have fun adding pictures and other fun things to it.

I have to say that the kit pretty much puts itself together and I just added a few mats for pictures and some stamped images.

There is a little pocket with a pull out Scalloped Tag Topper Punch piece on the inside cover.

In addition to the Baby, We've Grown stamp set, I used some images from Everything Eleanor.

Love those tea lace paper doilies!!

I also threw in some twine from the Sweet Sorbet accessory kit and some Watercolor Wonder washi tape.

Aren't those little heart clips adorable?

When I was finished, I hadn't quite used up all the accessories that came with the album kit.

A spot for journaling stamped with an image from Everything Eleanor.

Supplies:
Everything Eleanor, Baby, We've Grown
Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding, Real Red, Crumb Cake card stock
Sweet sorbet accessory kit
Watercolor Wonder washi tape
