April 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit

 

While mine hasn't arrived yet, I thought I would share the fun video for the April Paper Pumpkin kit.  I can't wait to play with it and neither can my daughter!

Today's card uses some of those great In Colors that we are going to say goodbye to in a few short weeks.  I am sure hoping that when Stampin' Up! has another color renovation some of them are able to return!!

 

I used the Sheltering Tree stamp set around the outside of my Crumb Cake card stock layer to add a fun element to this card.  It is stamped with Crumb Cake ink.

 

The sentiment is again from the April Paper Pumpkin kit and I can guarantee you will see more images from that kit in the future - I just love the fonts on the sentiments.

April Paper Pumpkin

 

I had a few minutes to sit down and play with the April Paper Pumpkin kit so I thought I would share it with you.  Let me tell you, these were a piece of cake to put together!  

 

I modified a few from the original design that came with the kit and added some stamped images from Boutique Borders and some paper tea lace doilies.

 

The colors are Pacific Point and Crushed Curry.

 

The little bows were already die cut and just needed some glue dots (which are included in the kit).

 

There are several sentiment options which is always a welcome site too!
